I added a new gorgeous 7 mm cable bracelet(with the 24kt gold) to my collection with blue topaz, and I am so glad I worked with her. Such a kind soul. Everyone that works there is so sweet too. I stopped by yesterday to pick up my anniversary gift. This store is limiting capacity as a safety measure. I didn't wait long for service; I was paired with Anthony who was very pleasant. I had my eye on several pieces but unfortunately this location has a limited selection. You may find a piece you like but it's not available in your size. I am not fond of ordering jewelry online. Anyhow, I selected a necklace and Anthony offered to clean my bracelets as he rang up my purchase. Anthony came out a few minutes later and mentioned the high pressure jewelry cleaner/machine was on the fritz so my bracelets could not be properly cleaned. No biggie I thought (I can always go back for the complimentary cleaning) but I quickly became disappointed with the presentation/packaging. I received a generic black bag and a bracelet box to store my necklace. Perhaps they were out of the DY branded shopping bags and appropriate jewelry boxes. Overall OK experience - sadly, it did not woo me. I will plan another visit in hopes of picking up two more pieces - updated review will follow. read more

Recently, I made my first ever DY purchase, a cable bracelet for my girlfriend. I ordered online and when it arrived it was bent. DY customer service said I could return it to a DY store, the nearest to me being this one. I was able to reserve a matching bracelet in advance online. After driving the hour and half to the Austin location, this initial impression with David Yurman continued to deteriorate. When we approached a female sales associate and explained the issue, she too agreed the bracelet we had was bent. She then retrieved the reserved bracelet and when she brought it out, it too was bent, not as much as the one we currently had but bent nonetheless. We explained how far we had to drive to and that we wanted to make sure we got the best quality bracelet. The sales associate began making excuses for the jewelry and then tried to up-sell us a 5mm bracelet and a size larger than what we wanted for almost an additional $200. It was at this point we decided to return the bracelet that was shipped to us. When I asked if possible to have my overnight shipping fee returned she quickly said no. It was then that I asked her to go check with the manager. She left and came back with the manager who checked to see the amount I paid for overnight shipping but said nothing else. They both left again with my credit card and when the sales associate returned she had processed the return and had me sign receipts. At no point in this entire process did I get any sort of apology or proposed solution to the problem, other than suggesting I pay almost $200 more for a size too large. When I left the store, I also noticed the amount reimbursed was 2 cents less than I paid. So by the end of the day, I paid David Yurman 2 cents, drove three hours round trip , didn't even receive an apology for the inconvenience and my girlfriend had no gift for her birthday. DY blew it. Update 14 Feb 2019 ---- I reached back out to Victor, the sales associate who assisted me last month, and purchased one of the bracelets in the stack I tried on. He remembered me, suggested a size for me, and was very helpful. He shipped my item out quickly and well and it arrived just a few days later. I did have issues because it was shipped via FedEx requiring signature and 3x redelivery in the middle of the day and I couldn't request FedEx to hold it for me for pickup after work... so it took me a few days to get it - but otherwise - it arrived perfectly and quickly and I love it! Victor texted me a few days later to make sure everything was OK and offered to exchange the size and send me a pre-paid shipping label if needed... fortunately the size was perfect! ---- Stopped in while shopping with my gal pal the other day and was excited to find a David Yurman store because we do not have any stand-alone David Yurman stores nearby in Virginia Beach where I live. I was able to try on several watches, rings, necklaces, and charms I had been looking at on the website. The sales associate, Victor, was very friendly and helpful though I assured him I was trying things on for sizing and prices and was not going to be buying anything today as I have a New Year's resolution to not impulse buy or be pressured into anything unless I think about it and really really want it later. They have some beautiful pieces in here and some gorgeous options for stacking bracelets and jewelry and rings. I especially like that many of the pieces can be repurposed and worn many different ways. For years I only saw David Yurman as chunky old lady jewelry - but lately I have come to realize that they have some beautiful options and some nice petite diamonds jewelry that I love. The store wasn't busy while we were inside and the sales associate paid a lot of attention to us and was friendly and helpful. The agent had to go ask someone else how to do the exchange, and she walked him through it. I will never buy anything from this retailer! I came in on Black Friday because I was interested in a men's bracelet. First of all, what retailer doesn't offer a Black Friday discount?! Apparently Yurman doesn't! I selected a tiger's eye bracelet that was marked $295 on the itty bitty price tag. When the sales associate went to ring it up she informed me that the bracelet had been tagged wrong and was actually $325. I told her not my problem, I want it for the price it was marked, incorrect or not! She went to her manager and came back saying they could not honor that price. I promptly left and I'm glad I did! NEGATIVES: I have been shopping at David Yurman for many years, most of my items where purchased at the Domain location. I had always received incredible customer service while shopping and when bringing items to be cleaned/repaired. I went into the Domain store today after not going in for about a year. The staff was cold, and on the rude side. As if I was an imposition for asking them to help me. I had a pair of earrings that needed to be repaired and many other pieces that needed to be cleaned. I was shocked to hear there would be a cost for the repair and for the deeper cleaning of another pair of earrings. This was made worse by cold employees who didn't seem to want to help or be personable. After purchasing many pairs of earrings, my wedding and engagement ring, and many other pieces I will no longer be shopping at David Yurman. Bad customer service and having to have items repaired at my own cost that I've not had that long are major turn offs. I'm sad to see how this company has changed. read more

David Yurman is not worth the price. I bought my husbands wedding ring here & it just fell apart from simply wearing it, in an office, every day. This wasn't a typical wedding band either. It had black diamonds with forged carbon fiber. My husband took it back in to send it off to repair then a few weeks later (the original time they said it would take to repair the ring) they called me & told me they were able to get a new one. I live/work South so it's not easy for me to get to this store after work on a weekday. I took off early to go up there & once I got there they pulled out the wrong ring & tried to give it to me. I told them immediately it wasn't the right one & the worker tried to argue with me telling me it was. Then once I refused to take the ring she was trying to give me she went to the back to retrieve our original, still broken in the bag & never sent off, ring. She pulled it out & then noticed it wasn't the right ring. So then they had to actually send our original ring off which took another 3 weeks to repair. I had to follow up with the store almost daily to find out if the ring was back or not. Upon return, about 3 weeks later, the lines within the ring were completely/apparently ruined. Is there no quality control at the repair studio or even upon it being returned to the store? Why not even inspect the ring before having the customer come in to pick it up? The only solution the store gave us at this point was to return it. Who truly wants to return a wedding ring exchanged during their ceremony? I couldn't help but cry while returning it. The manager never followed up or offered a remedy during this entire process. I was constantly having to follow up. They never even got my name right. Every time I called, it was someone different to talk to & they constantly told me my name wasn't right in the system yet obviously never bothered to change it so they couldn't ever even find the ring or case on file. They didn't seem to care this entire process. I expected more from David Yurman. I even filed a case with corporate & they've yet to get back with me after I followed up multiple times. My family & I are never buying anything from this brand again. read more

Ever since I first came in here with my mom and then later with my fiancée, they've been incredibly helpful and nice. Although my fiancée would've preferred me to pick a less expensive ring/ brand at the beginning of our ring-shopping journey, we've been nothing but happy with the purchase and customer service. I've had to get it resized 3 times (my fault thanks to to Austin's changing weather and my pickiness), and Victor always texts me when it's ready and is there to answer any questions (i.e. "How do I clean this?"). We have been a repeat customer to this brand and a couple of time to this location. We were the only other two people in this location that day...and received very poor service. The older gentleman who works there never offered us a seat or water or anything else and seemed rushed doing everything he did. We felt rushed into choosing a ring rather than being helped with our choices. Poor knowledge from the sales man, no catalog available...and pushed to try something on for which we had said "not my type, thank you". A younger blond gal seemed much more adequate to the job and helped us a bit but the older guy really wanted HIS sale to close...this made us want to choose another brand ...so we left the store after 25 min, trying to "sleep on it" and hope to maybe get better service next time. read more

Wow! Hallie was amazing with personality, recommendations, customer service, and post customer care! Went in to see about a graduation ring to represent my school. Found one I liked but couldn't custom order that specific ring in gold so I began to look at other options. She and one of the other employees who I don't know their name went to the back and began searching for this specific ring that might be available in one of the other David Yurman stores. They came back and said that one did and they were shipping it to Austin. I winded up purchasing that one of a kind ring and was thrilled about it. Offered to resize it for free and afterwards Hallie even sent me a personalized planner to celebrate and congratulate me on graduating college and accepting a full time job offer. I recently purchased a ring to help me celebrate several milestones in my life. As I wore it I noticed the stone became very cloudy and dull. The Austin store staff was very helpful and ask that I send it back and they were to remove the piece in the back which seems to trap moisture. They did admit t's a flaw in craftmanship. It's now been 5 weeks and I'm told it will be another 2 weeks before my ring will be repaired in New York. I'm sorry, but I feel like this is very poor craftsmanship and service. Horrible experience. Went in to purchase engagement rings with my partner who loved a particular design. Not one congratulation, acknowledgment of the occasion or anything to make the experience special. The process was mechanical and sales driven. Most rings were not out and behind the counter which was like pulling teeth to get the associate to show the various rings. Most were not in stock in our sizes. We also brought a necklace charm in for repair. It fell apart after about a year of wearing at $100 to fix. I asked since it appeared to be defect and not damage if there would be a fee, especially because we just spent a couple of grand on rings. The woman responded that even customers who spend over $30k a year there are charged and it would be $100 to repair. What was supposed to be a day that my partner has been waiting for and always remember became a shopping task that was endured. To add insult to injury they sent a survey and for the poor experience gave $100 off our next 1k purchase...like I really want to do this again? read more
