Which is completely unprofessional. They also use their phones to play games while talking to you. And no one knows how to do anything in the store other than the manager who's only there half of the time. When making the purchase they didn't know how to use the register. So they constantly kept going into the office to speak to the manager who couldn't come out because they're with the crying baby. Then when I call with basic questions like when will the ring arrive they will hang up to ask the manager. One guy told me he'd call me back and never did. I had to call him a week later and ask to be on hold to finally get an answer. They don't follow up. They don't know how to do anything. They don't care about you or your purchase. I was told my ring would be in, in two weeks. Four weeks went by and still no ring! Not even a single update about it. I had to reach out to them just to get hung up on. This place is a mess and I'm not sure how they're still running. They need a lot of help. Wouldn't shop here ever again and definitely will not recommend to anyone either. If there could be no stars I would do that. My husband bought a ring for me for Christmas there. After having it sized it turned brown. I took it to abother location and had ut polished. Looked great for 24 hours and turned again! Went back to the jewelers and said that was "normal wear and tear". Not 24 hours later. I walked out I have never been so upset before with a business. They said they they would send it in for repair and I think I was told i would pay for shipping. Now they want $125 for shipping. !!! At no point was that communicated to me! If I would have known the headache my wife and I were in for at this store I would have learned how to re-size rings myself. After we purchased our rings elsewhere, we went to Marc Robinson for resizing because their employee Tony quoted us $45 per ring and a 5 day turnaround. My wife and I are stationed in NC with the military, so my brother in law went to pick up the rings after 10 days of calling and being told by a rude employee they didn't know when they would be ready. He was charged $65 per ring and we didn't catch the mistake until after he paid. Every time we spoke to an employee they acted inconvenienced and were unable to help us. They would promise to talk to the manager and call us back but never did. After 4 to 5 interactions like this, my wife finally got the manager Matt to pick up. He was actually helpful and agreed to talk to the owner about refunding us the money we were charged over the quoted price, or to get us a voucher for in store use. We really didn't want a voucher as we didn't plan to shop there again, but said we would take it if that's all we could get. After waiting several weeks, I called back and spoke to him again. The owner, Rozi, was in the store at the time but refused to speak to me on the phone or give her manager, Matt, the authority to actually handle the problem. After speaking with her again, Matt told me that she had agreed to give us a voucher for the difference if we bought something over $500!!! (More than we spent on either of our wedding bands...). He got her to come down to $400. I told him I appreciated his efforts, but that this was absolutely unacceptable. Last Thursday, I asked him to tell Rozi to choose between a cash refund, an unrestricted voucher, or a one star review by the following Sunday. She decided that she would prefer a one star review over honoring the quoted price. Rozi, here is the one-star review that you chose. If you are interested in earning our trust back, please do not hesitate to reach out to give us a cash refund or an unrestricted voucher and I will happily take down this review. I was looking for a wedding set back in May 2015 and MRJ in Barton Creek Square was the second or third place I looked. I went in late on a Sunday evening, maybe an hour or so before closing, and was greeted by Saleem. I indicated I was looking for sort of an "old-school", classy ring for my fiancé. I also indicated I was looking for something in platinum. What immediately impressed me was Saleem's concern about my choice of metal. Evidently many folks who buy platinum quickly become dissatisfied with it as it tends to not shine like white gold, especially over time, and is quite a bit more easily marked, developing a certain patina. It is also much harder to work, should the ring need to be resized in the future. Saleem made sure that I understood these things, and also that I knew how platinum compared and contrasted with white gold. Of course, white gold is much, much less expensive than platinum, and should I have bought a wedding set in white gold, MRJ's profit would have been reduced quite a bit (I assume). This did not seem to matter to Saleem; he was intent on my being satisfied after the sale...before he had even made the sale! This was excellent customer service, which continued throughout my experience at MRJ. Fortunately I had gone in prepared, so I was familiar with platinum vs. white gold and had made at least a somewhat informed decision already. So we agreed on platinum and set about looking at rings. For my fiancé I selected a .75-carat round solitaire ring made in a sort of helix pattern and a matching wedding band; for myself I selected a nice chunky band. Saleem worked with me for quite a while on my selections in order to make sure I was going to be satisfied with the end results, and also that I was going to stay within my budget. He noted that the engagement ring came in a .5-carat size and a 1-carat size, neither of which were optimal for the .75-carat stone I was considering. He indicated he would work with the jewelers to see what they could do. He also noted that his display model of the band I was considering was in white gold and he was not sure if the particular texturing (knurling) on it would be accurately reproducible in platinum. He said he would work with the jewelers on that as well. The rings I had chosen were all made to order, and the company which produced them was in California, so there was a lead time of about 4 weeks before I received the rings. True to his word, Saleem worked with the company on the challenges of the order and had them resolved quickly. The company agreed to make a new version of the engagement ring to accommodate a .75-carat stone, and for my band, they worked out with me that they would apply a more conventional brushed finish to the parts of the ring that would have been knurled had it been in white gold. The brushing would provide the same contrast among the various surfaces of the band, but would be much more durable in the softer platinum. This was all very satisfactory to me. When I received the rings I was very pleased. They looked spectacular. Especially the engagement ring - the solitaire itself was simply stunning. I will attempt to post pictures but I had a very hard time in taking them. It seems that the brilliant, multicolored sparkle you see in a diamond with your own eyes is very hard to reproduce in a picture. It looks pretty in pictures, but nothing like it looks in person. In person, this stone shines in the dimmest light. It is truly beautiful. My fiancé (now wife) absolutely adores it. She is similarly pleased with her band, as I am with mine. In summary let me say I had a completely positive experience at Marc Robinson Jewelers in Barton Creek Mall. I highly recommend this store, and especially Saleem, to anyone looking for a wedding set. read more

This place is not reliable at all. They are allegedly an AD for a brand that makes a watch I own. This watch is very important to me; it is a graduation gift from my parents. The watch needed servicing, and they told me that they would send it to the manufacturer and it would take 4-5 weeks. They sent the watch in July. In August, they called to say the watch had arrived and confirmed that it would take 4-5 weeks. I have heard nothing from them, and called multiple times. They told me that the manufacturer is very backed up, and that they still have not received watches that were sent out in March. If they knew this, they had no business quoting me the 4-5 week timeframe, and she said it could be months until I receive my watch. I told them to send it back, and I would go speak to someone who can service the watch in-house. But they told me that I still had to pay shipping even though nothing was done to the watch. This is unacceptable. Horrible customer service, horrible communication. I would not deal with these people at all. read more

I bought a bangle bracelet from the Barton Creek Mall location. The bracelet itself was exactly what I wanted, however the process was very challenging and disappointing. I appreciated the offer made by Rubeena to special order the bracelet because I needed a smaller size than is commonly available. I was not in a rush to have it. Yet, I never would have predicted that it would take three (almost four) months to make good on the bracelet! The challenges and disappointments included unreturned phone calls, items not being available when I made a special trip to the store (I had been told it would be available), being told my bracelet was "exactly the same" as what I had been shown when it obviously was not.
