My wife and I went here bc she wants to grow her hair out longer and give her hair a rest from damage and treatments. We were uncertain what the customer service experience might be like since wig wearing isn't as popular/common amongst fine haired Caucasian women (until more recently) so friendly/welcome reception can be hit or miss. After visiting the store, we give this place 5 stars! Fantastic customer service, wonderful selection of real human hair wigs and hair pieces available, various product recommendations, and pricing was so affordable. I needed supplies to do my Bantu Knots. Originally I was going to drive further West on Folsom b!vd. But to save myself time, I saw this place and thought I would stop. I wish I would've kept driving! When I first walked in , I noticed on the door ' NO RETURNS! Okkkkk, no biggie. I'll look around. At the count was a young seemed busy with shelving items, talking to a guy who have me an impression that he was in charge. As I walked through the store, I began to notice items that at Walmart, we're far less in price then here. I then went to get the hair I needed and I grabbed 2 pks. Of Rasta Silky one behind the other. Walked around grabbed other Th I be I needed and began to notice how dirty the floor and shelves. I grabbed a box that said super Large bonnet.When I got home and opened it it was a small! They also mislabeled the hair, thus I got # pks. of hair that don't match.. Also I asked the guy while checking out about how much a small hand held mirror was be told me 4.50! I said I just bought 28.00 bucks of stuff, please let me have it for less? No the creep responded. The lady seemed intimidated by THIS jerk and probable would of agreed to sell it to me for less but nevertheless people's ,' THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS BOGUS AND TO EXPENSIVE!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE! Being a retired law enforcement officer and walking through this cramped unclean place being watched by this jerk every turn I made wasn't cool either. For my first time come to this beauty supply after a customer at my work recommended it to me, I was glad I went. I came in there just curious of what products they have, I have curly hair so I'm always trying to find products that work well with it, but there aren't a lot of options in some beauty supply stores. This store, however, had full lines of so many brands, so that was very refreshing. When I first walked in, they had their security thing by the door right by the lashes and jewelry which seemed a bit crowded. The store was extremely dark inside and a bit messy, with product on the floor and not organized neatly, probably because they had an abundance of products and not enough shelf space. Their lash selection is excellent, and before I went in, I had no idea they sold so much jewelry! I'd been on the hunt for simple, good quality and affordable hoop earrings, and they had every sort of style that i could imagine. EXTREMELY affordable lashes and jewelry which is always a plus ;) The place was pretty big, the majority of space was taken up by hair and wigs of course, seeing as they do take up a lot of space. I was a bit disappointed in their makeup section (dirty and messy) and their lack of hair rollers and curlers. As for the employees, they seemed quite intimidating to me at first, and they never asked if I needed help once throughout my whole visit. They were speaking to each other in a different language (I assumed they were just continuing their conversation from before I walked in, but I really have no clue) and I felt like I couldn't ask them anything because they seemed uninterested and I didn't want to interrupt them unless I needed something unlocked. But, when it came time to ring me up, the girl their was a lot nicer than expected after I talked to her a little about how I found the place and everything. Overall, I gave this place a 3.5 star rating because they had a lot of product, but it just was not a very comfortable place to shop. WIGGGGGS. Love them. And this is defiantly the place to go for them. They are very nicely priced and feel great. The hair doesn't tangle and it feels very light on your head. MY ADVICE... GO TO SALLY'S FOR NEW HAIR PRODUCTS!! This place has a wide variety of things (hair products, fake hair, accessories, jewelry, makeup, etc.); however, the hair products are FINAL SALE! I went to Jame's because it's conveniently located near my gym, and I needed a new hair product. I purchased something, used it once, it did absolutely nothing for my hair but I wasn't able to return nor exchange it for anything else. Of course I couldn't test it while I was in the store because there are signs asking customers not to put their fingers in the jars all around the store (which is understandable). Now I'm stuck with a product that I have NO USE for . Sad to say but some times, family owned places like this just want to get customers' money. i was looking for a lip gloss i was going to go to ulta but that's expensive and my friend recommended this store and it's close to my house so i said lets go and they had this coconut lip gloss that is really good it helps my lips not to get chapped and it smells good and i love the shine and the price was the best because it was only 2 dollars and their costumer service was great they had a good attitude and they looked like they new what they were doing so i am definitely going back to the store read more
