Honestly, I think my anxiety is from past visits where I was not fully numb before they started drilling. OUCH!!! Dr. A got me setup on nitrous-oxide to chill me out, used a stronger dose of Novocain, and didn't start his procedure until we both were sure I was thoroughly numbed up. I was quickly greeted and advised I would be called back shortly. The office was modern, clean and was very welcoming. I was brought back by Rosa one of the RDAs who was amazing. She fully explained the whole procedure, expectations as well as post treatment recommendations. The whole procedure took about 60-90 minutes and involved 3-4 rounds of 15-20 minutes of the application. The before and after results are amazing and I could not be happier. From the first phone call, to checking in, meeting with the Dr. Grey BEFORE he even examined me, to the exam, to meeting with the financial coordinator to actually scheduling the procedure (3 root canals and 3 crowns+ a cleaning), I left the office feeling already so confident in them and nothing had even been done yet!! Three weeks ago I had my sedated procedure and yesterday I had my permanent crowns put on! What an amazing experience!! They have really high-tech gear at this office and she was able to do imaging right there in the chair as well! Not surprisingly, her office is still super clean and organized. It had been a few years since I last visited. She also uses the latest and greatest equipment which even my dentist in Pasadena doesn't have or use. Dr Adina presented me several choices to help me with my sleep apnea (Somnomed, TAP and Panthera). Ended up deciding on the Panthera classic. The device is super light and is the smallest amongst the other companies. Fitting was straight forward as Dr. Adina took digital impressions which was awesome as I didn't have to have my mouth full of plastic trays and impression material. My dental appliance arrived in less than 2 weeks. Will hopefully be able to create a more peaceful environment so that my wife won't have to sleep next to a "raging bear" at night anymore.
