Would not recommend. Was told I had a filling missing and it would need to be fixed. I have since gotten a second opinion and there is no filling missing... The probing took sooooo long and was aggressive. I was also told I had to have a deep cleaning and when I asked why and if we could start with a regular cleaning was told "no because I told you so". 2 stars because the woman at the front desk was lovely. read more

Dr Davenport and his entire staff are extremely kind and caring. Dr Davenport has an excellent sense of humor and the decor of his office is fun. I sincerely couldn't be happier that I found this dental clinic and am very extremely satisfied with the care I have received and the prices are very reasonable. Dawn, at the front desk deserves her own mention as she is one hard worker and so very pleasant, helpful and kind. Dr Davenport was able to adjust a partial denture that had been causing me unrelenting pain for months and it just took 2 appointments (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). I was IMPRESSED!! My dental health has improved since becoming a patient. It took YEARS for me to find this practice and I so glad I did!! I am completely confident that they have my dental care in their capable hands. I will be a patient for the rest of my life. It is sadly rare to feel that confident in a medical practitioner! The staff is incredibly kind, the dental hygienist worked wonders for both my husband and I, and Dr. Davenport was very knowledgeable and gave honest advice. The office itself is very clean and orderly. They decorated with a cute movie theater theme with posters, huge DVD selection and free popcorn (unfortunately not offered now due to covid). At the front desk they were immediately able to give me a quote for a mouth guard and possible future work I want done. I can't say enough good things about them. Discriminatory practices in place! Dr. Davenport practices in a manner that is money first and a patient second. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Davenport's office for a Zoom Whitening treatment. I completed all of the necessary medical and pre-screening paperwork. The form was a pretty standard medical history form. As a responsible adult, I marked yes to the area asking if I was Epileptic. After reviewing my medical history they decided to proceed. I was delighted. We went through the process of making the trays for the preceding fluoride treatment. At this time, Dr. Davenport requires 50% of the total treatment to be paid. I paid and was told to return the following day to pick up my trays. This afternoon, I received a phone call. I was told that they would be canceling their services with me due to my Epilepsy. I attempted to explain my seizure disorder to no avail. I offered to supply a letter from my neurologist. They declined to accept any additional communication about my medical history. This conversation was with Judy, his front office staff. I asked to speak to Dr. Davenport directly. Judy stated that she would have him call me back later this afternoon. Dr. Davenport never called. He refused to have a conversation with me, instead, having his office personnel relay a medical decision he made without knowing all of the facts. A medical doctor that refuses to know a patient's full history isn't someone I would recommend to my worst enemy. My late-onset epilepsy is not induced by lights. I have no light impairment. Dr. Davenport would know this if he took the time to get to know his patients, but alas, he is driven by dollars first and history never. Even if it were light-induced or that was his concern, there are ways to protect the patient from the light as it is not shined in their eyes. The light is used directly in the mouth. I know and understand that it is a doctor's right to refuse to do the work in this setting. My issues stem from my wasted time and his clear and utter disregard for me as a person. If Dr. Davenport felt so strongly about not working with an epileptic patient then I should have been refused service on my first visit, before the impressions for the fluoride trays were even started. Before I was charged 50% for his services. If he felt so strongly about the risks, why didn't he take the time to speak with me and explain, medically, why he could not proceed? Your guess is as good as mine. This procedure is the first step in me regaining my smile. When I was diagnosed with epilepsy 4 years ago I broke a few of my teeth during my first seizure. There are several steps that I must take to regain my smile and these last 4 years I've done everything I can to make it work. I want the confidence a beautiful smile can give a person. I've never been treated so poorly by a person in the medical field. Until today, I had never been on the receiving end of discrimination due to my disability. If you too are after the confidence a beautiful smile can give you, especially if you are disabled, then I recommend finding another doctor. read more

I have been going to Dr. Davenport for almost 5 years now. I first chose him because he was the only one who took my employers dental insurance that did not have terrible reviews. I stayed with him even after getting a better insurer because it was an overall pleasant experience. Unlike the larger offices, I did not feel like I was on an assembly line. Dr. D is the only Dentist I have ever known to call and check up on patients to make sure I no major pain after being prepped for a crown. I was sent to this practice through my work at the time. The office personnel were very nice. The Hygienist was taking my measurement of my gum pockets and was so rough that it hurt. The numbers she spoke of were some I'd never had before and she told me I needed a scaling and planing deep cleaning. I had had one less than 2 years before that so I felt I was being railroaded into something I didn't need. I never returned, but I saw a dentist less than 6 months later and the same measurements were no where near what she said they were and no scaling and planing was ever mentioned. I knew at that time that I would have paid for $1600 worth of work not needed, so I was glad I didn't go back. Just wish I would have gone to the BBB or the ADA with a complaint. I switched to Dr. Davenport II's office based on the reviews I read online. I'd previously used Gentle Dental (Mona Lisa Office). While Dr. Davenport II's office might not have all of the latest high tech gadgets (ie still doing bite wing xrays on film), I am extremely pleased with the level of care and service I've received. Dr. Davenport recommended I have scaling done on a few teeth which had early stage pockets forming. With hygienist Angie's diligent scaling and deep cleaning, along with teaching me properly flossing technique (use your middle fingers so you can get in further) I've made real progress towards clearing those spots up. My past dentist didn't even talk with me about these areas or scaling, but instead went straight to recommending gum grafts. I like Dr. Davenport II office's proactive attitude towards my dental health. The office is small but very clean and there is always plenty of parking. read more

I looked at the reviews for Dr. Davenport and gave him a try after the big box Dental that I was with, gave me some outrageous estimate for dental work. So when I had my first appointment with him about 6 mos. ago. I knew he was the right Dentist. A comfy office and a nice location. I met Judy [receptionist], Angie [hygienist], and Dr. Davenport. There is another lady that did dental impressions on me but her name at the moment slips me as I write this review. My apologies to her. His exam was no where what the others wanted. I am very pleased with Angie and the work she has done on my teeth and Dr. Davenport on what he has done for me. Oh..can't forget about Judy..she is always pleasant and kind and easy to ask her any questions you may have.
