I called after ordering a pizza that the crust was so soggy you couldn't physically pick up the pizza and was told by the front end "the guys in the back remember making your pizzas and they said the crust was borderline burnt, not raw. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it but that's just how we make our pizzas. This AFTER I told them I didn't want it comped. Didn't want it remade. I just wanted them to know because I still think they're the better pizza place in town. Flavor- 10/10. Crust...usually 5/10. Today 1/10. Customer service, being told "ACTUALLY they said it was 'almost burnt' not raw". Ok then why send it if you thought it was "almost burned?" And why not just accept the feedback with a thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on our product" instead of being rude and saying "sorry that's just the way our pizza is". Customer service 0/10. Many notes. Do better. And by the way: a pizza that wasn't loaded down with dozens of toppings SHOULD be not so flimsy that it literally falls apart when you pick it up. Our margarita pizza was phenomenal! The freshness of the ingredients shown through to produce a wonderful relaxing dining experience. This restaurant reminds me of a small cozy European bistro. People are pleasant but place has gone down hill. We used to order from the place often. However, screw ups have increased and quality has declined. The last time we ordered, they gave us basically a cheese pizza instead of a taco. Almost no lettuce, no chips, no other ingredients. The sour cream and salsa weren't in the box. When we called to ask for a remake, the manager had the employee call back and say they couldn't give us a new pizza. We just wanted the pizza we had ordered. This is not how you do business. We won't be ordering from them again. read more

We ordered sausage, mushroom, onion pizza. The crust was way too soft, couldn't support the ingredients, and as a whole, it was soggy, watery, and the sauce was tasteless. The boneless wings were small & a bit costly, but OK. We love good pizza, and try to be supportive of local businesses. Unfortunately, we can't in this case. It was disappointing. read more

What a little gem! Traveling through Columbus for business and looking for a nice lunch. This place didn't have a lot of reviews but what reviews they had were great reviews. We originally planned to do the lunch special or two slices of pizza and a drink for $6!!! What a steal! They had pre-made pizza slices in sausage or pepperoni. Then we watched them carry out three 10" pizzas and we changed our minds!!! We order two personal 10" pizzas to each our liking. I had sausage, pepperoni and green olives, my boss ordered Canadian bacon, sausage and mushroom both in the New York style. They do offer an old world style as well. We both loved our pizzas! You can tell they take a lot of pride in their business. They use fresh ingredients, homemade sauce, plenty of toppings and a wonderful chewy pizza crust. Note they were gracious enough to share their WiFi password. Definitely recommend this place! read more

We've had their pizza couple times as well as the wings. The wings are actually really really good. The pizza has a good amount of toppings. There's various styles of crust but from our experience it's been crispy and good. The staff is always nice and smiling. I'd go 5 stars but the downside is for extra toppings it's a bit too pricey. My family has raved about this place since they opened about a year ago! This was my first taste of the place, and the pizza was really good! We got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, which I expect to be overwhelmingly rich or greasy, but it wasn't at all. It comes with giant pieces of chicken and bacon, and the ranch is just enough so that it added to the flavor and wasn't too much. I also like a thinner pizza, and this was just perfect. The only thing I didn't care for and wouldn't order again are the bosco sticks. They didn't have much cheese in them and were pretty tasteless. Also of note- if you are looking to order online, there is a glitch on their website where your only option of placing an order is for "right now", so if you are looking to place an order for a different time, make sure you call to place it. My first order with James Street Pizza Co was last week as a pickup. Although I want to try their pizza, I opted for the calzone. It was delicious and a generous portion for about $9.00. I needed two sit downs to polish it off. I ordered cheese, sausage, pepperoni and black olive, but there's a menu full of goodies you can select. It comes with marinara sauce as a dipping sauce. First time ordering from them. They delivered to waterloo! The best chickenwings ive ever had. You don't need any dipping sauce. The flavor was off the chart!! We ordered 2 large pizza's. We sure got lucky with this place. We are from New York so we are pretty harsh critics when it comes to pizza. Let's just say this is New York native approved! We ordered a large cheese pizza that was total perfection. It had so much cheese on it that it would be considered an extra cheese pizza back home (my favorite). We also ordered a sausage and cheese calzone. Super cheesy and tasty sausage in the inside. When I went to pick up the pizza the place was really clean and cute in the inside! The cashier even opened up my pizza and calzone before I bought it making sure everything looked ok! That is over and above service! It made me wish that we had time to dine in. I also liked how they were up with the times and used Square for their register. Nothing drives me more crazy than cash only places of yester-year! I hope that James Street Pizza helps to revive Colombus, it seemed like one of the few thriving businesses in that town. read more

Great fresh pizza, top notch ingredients, friendly and knowledgeable service, staff and owner. Family friendly atmosphere, but the pizza is really the star of the show here, AHHmazing. Unfortunately we are not from the area, but we do drive through often and this will for sure be an often stop, cant wait for our next trip!!
