Parking extended into the adjacent businesses, but overall plenty of space Food 4/5: we got cheese curds and spinach dip for apps. The cheese curds were disappointing for being in Wisconsin. They were clearly the frozen kind and not freshly battered like many other places serve in the area. They were ok. The spinach dip is the star of the show. I love that they put tomatoes in it to give it extra veggies and the overall flavor is salty yet balanced. We got the Mau wowi, maple bacon, and Mac and cheese pizzas. Overall the Maui wowi and maple bacon had a salty sweet match up that brought the best umami. The Mac and cheese is just ok. Service 4/5: our waiter lacked personality but was overall great. Very attentive, continued to ask about drinks, and was prompt with the check when we asked. Ambiance 5/5: this place is huge. Overall adequate room between tables. Great space and wasn't too loud like some places can get. If you like a lot of options with your pizza between toppings and crust, this is a great place to try. First of all, we got here at 6 pm on a Saturday and were told for a table of 2 it would be a half an hour wait which we had no problem with. About 16 minutes later our table was ready which was great. Our waiter was in the top 5 for worst waiter I have ever had. He would literally point at things and never speak. At one point he pointed at my empty plate but he was asking if I needed water. When he brought our food out he handed me my plate instead of setting it down in front of me. I ordered a Hot Honey wing meal online and waited about 40 minutes before going to the curbside pickup area. An employee brought out my order and then told me they were out of the Hot Honey sauce, asking if I wanted something else. At first, I assumed he meant they didn't have enough sauce for my side order, but instead I was handed a box of plain wings. I immediately requested a refund and went inside to speak with the manager. Unfortunately, the customer service was just as disappointing as the order. I asked why no one had called to let me know they were out of the sauce before preparing my order, and the manager simply replied, "Yeah, someone should have called you," handed me my refund receipt, and that was the end of the conversation. There was no apology, no empathy, and no attempt to make the situation right. Mistakes happen, but communication and customer service make all the difference. I've been visiting my sister for over a decade and have always noticed this pizza spot--but finally gave it a try, and I'm kicking myself for not going sooner. The pizza was absolutely delicious, with generous toppings and a perfectly made crust. We were torn between two specialty pizzas, and our server helpfully suggested we split them half and half--such a great option! We ended up trying the Mac Daddy and the Buffalo Chicken, and while both were solid, the Buffalo Chicken was the clear standout. Honestly, it's one of the best versions I've ever had. This is a great place for a large menu/ lots of different options. One of my favorite pizza places. This is my favorite place for hand tossed pizza. All of the pizzas have a perfect amount of toppings, and they were all well balanced. Overall there is never a miss on any pizza I've gotten here, and the appetizers are also delicious. The food is always served quickly, and the service is always friendly. I loved the sweet treat, cinnamon nuggets. Portions are huge and prices are inexpensive. Food was great. Sat at the bar on a very busy Sunday night. Bar seats full (16 stools?). Waitress station at bar was stacked up with back orders. Only one bartender... and on his second shift ever. Left all alone behind the bar and was DEEP in the weeds. He got very little help from management or servers. Finally went to the delicious Sugar River Pizza! It was a surprisingly calm night with few people, and we enjoyed our food, drinks, and desserts. Our server was very nice and welcoming, the pizza and salads were excellent and oh my goodness, get the peanut butter pie and roll yourself out the door -- holy goodness that dessert is a top 10 for me. We had pretzel bites which were amazing, although they kind of sit in the butter pooled under them. The Hawaiian pizza was delicious, pineapple does in fact belong on pizza. I had the Asian chicken salad and was very happy with the portions and quality. The peanut butter pie was absolutely outstanding. I would drive the 25 minutes from my apartment just to order that dessert. It is incredible, I'm still thinking about it days later. Get one for the table! A very expansive tap list (probably close to 50) is notable. We were in the witching hour between lunch and dinner and our waitstaff was a little brusque. Here's the good and the bad...the food must be made fresh because they were quite busy and it took a long time to get our food. Onion rings were excellent! My husband ordered quesadillas and claimed they were " ok" but rather bland. I had the southwest salad, which was very disappointing. I ordered a side salad and shared a Margherita pizza with a friend. The salad had a long hair in it, which the waitress was kind to get a new salad and remove from the bill. I lost my appetite for the salad but it was mostly lettuce with a few cucumbers and tomatoes on top. The pizza was greasy (not typical pizza grease) and you could only taste the cheese which for Wisconsin I'd expect to be flavorful. The tomato, basil, and balsamic had zero flavor as well. We started with their small Caesar salad which was actually quite big as the waitress said it was. Three of us shared a 14" Italian meat pizza - the thin and crispy crust. It was pretty good, not great. You could tell the crust was a pre-made crust. It actually tasted like a something you'd get in a store bought frozen pizza. There was plenty of meat and that part was good. One other got a flatbread item and thought it was good. The other got a chicken wrap of some sort and it was huge - he liked it. The cinnamon nuggets could have had a tad more cinnamon on them but we love cinnamon. The waitress was really nice and attentive. Brought refills on sodas without us having to ask. Large open space with comfortable seating. We had a larger group and we were able to spread out and enjoy talking with each other. Service wasn't great, they didn't bring out the dishes at one time and getting refills on drinks took longer than expected. It would have been better with some lettuce to add something fresh and crisp. I would probably go back again but try something else.
