They treat patients like numbers on a spreadsheet, not humans and repeatedly got my eye exams wrong. The Negligence: For six years, they failed to diagnose a standard condition I've had since 2017. In July 2025, Dr. Lee removed my astigmatism correction entirely. When I explicitly told her I couldn't see and questioned the prescription, I was dismissed. A manager promised to call me back--no one ever did. The Result: I spent months driving with dangerous, blurry vision and wasted over $3,000 on 9 pairs of useless glasses because I thought better glasses would help me, but the problem was their incompetence. I finally went to a new independent doctor (Leaf Optometry), who immediately diagnosed the issue and confirmed Manhattan Beach Vision Group has been getting it wrong for years after looking over all my previous prescriptions.
