Me and my wife stopped in for a bite after a long day. I had THREE CHEESE LOCAL BURGER with Jalapeño Jack, Swiss and American. It came with everythjng u just put it together with mustard and ketchup on the table. I normally have mayo as well but too tired to ask for it. This meal came with fries. My wife had the 2 PIECE BROASTED CHICKEN it came with a roll and two sides. She got a baked potato and a salad which was $2 extra. Food was really good and hot. Service was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Glasses were always filled and Nicole checked on us very regularly. The restaurant was very clean and had a bright family atmosphere. Only problems I found was the handicap parking needed to be repainted and proper post signs. We're looking forward to our next visit when we are in town read more

I find that Jamie's is hit or miss. It was great when it first opened but it seems with each return visit we are less and less satisfied. Then it'll be ok again. Seems our visits have become less frequent due to the inconsistency with the the meals being good or not. read more

Pretty good food. We ordered nachos with chicken BBQ and the smoked chicken with french fries and mashed potatoes and brown gravy. We enjoyed it and munched it down. My husband had a hamburger and it said it tasted a bit like it had been frozen and reheated but was otherwise not bad. The waitress was super nice and she did a good job and checked on us regularly. The building is very nice on the inside and looks like it gets well maintained, overall a nice place. read more

After several tries, this was our last time. 6:30,Friday night, 8 adults, 2 children. We get a back room table. There are apox 30 customers in this large restaurant. 8 adult orders 5 have major errors. Waitress is embarrassed but spends way too much time apologizing. Ask for manager, nope she just left. This appears to be a nightly routine. Catfish is undercooked & dirty, baked potato is uncooked. One order for steak & shrimp came out as ribs and chicken strips! The kitchen response was it was changed "Because they don't currently offer the steak & shrimp. The salmon was ordered blackened! Came out plain but hot & proper temp. Had to wait but Waitress brought out a sauce she made & it was good. Open faced roast beef was correct & good. Waitress spent a lot of time going for side items which were left off or incorrect. The 2 children remained patient and calm. (I think they had already eaten) . Advice: if u eat there just let the cook decide what you want & eat it the way you get it. Management lacks either the skill or the desire to listen to customers, train employees or manage the menu. FYI liquor menu is on each table but they don't currently offer drinks! read more

I love the service here. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Its a nice size restaurant with booths and tables for 1 or many. There's a really good menu choice to wet just about any appetite. I love the sweet potato fries with the dipping sauce. And omg can they cook catfish! Im not crazy about the Ribs or Chicken only because I don't like the taste of heavy smoke and I like Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. Their gumbo is amazing and the Mac and cheese is delish!! There is NO BOOZE & NO BAR!! There's a pretty large desert assortment to look at.. ( I LOOK ; ) There is NO mask mandate so this is good! The bathrooms are divided for Men and Women SEPARATELY! I have visited here before and always was a 4-5 star .. tonight not the case , maybe my waitress was new or something. The food was fast to come out as normal , the flavor and cook was just mediocre , the chicken was dry and after we received the food, then our waitress was mostly not to be found .. real slow getting the check and really Slow getting the desert to go. I did notice the waitresses and other staff Talking and laughing together more than normal and laughing loudly one of the waitress screeched. Jamie's is the newest, most highly anticipated restaurant to open in Mountain Home this year. Residents who have eaten at Jamie's Local Flavor in Harrison know that the food and service there are worth the hype, and the Mountain Home location is no different. Located in the old Western Sizzlin on Highway 62, the decor has all the charm of a modern farmhouse. Jamie's has similar items as the Harrison location, but because of staffing issues, they're not open on Sundays or for breakfast for now which is disappointing. I started off my meal with an order of fried mushrooms with a side of homemade ranch which was delicious. For my meal I had the smoked chicken wrap which was loaded with chicken, corn, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and beans. The chicken was smoky and moist. It came with another side of ranch and fries. My friend got the chicken cranberry wrap which looked amazing. They've only been open about three weeks so service was a little clunky, but the staff was super attentive which makes it easy to forgive the clunkiness. I'm looking forward to trying out the whole menu. It's a great lunch place and probably even better for dinner. read more

Stopped in to eat dinner while visiting the area for a few days. I will say, the server we had was great. Never had to ask for anything, I had the catfish w/mac and cheese and ocra. Catfish was excellent and the mac & cheese could have simply been an entree by itself. It was very good. My brother had the 3pc fried chicken and really liked it. Only weird thing was the restaurant was out of dark meat at 5:00 pm. Both of us ordered the 3pc mixed but our server came back and said the kitchen only had 3-4 pcs of dark meat left. So I changed my order to the catfish dinner. Great place for family dining. Very clean, organized, ample menu selections with very happy people working there. If not for running out of dark meat chicken, I would have given this place 5 stars. Highly recommend this place! read more

We were with a group of 8 people. Several of us had the fried catfish. It was delicious. 3 ladies had baked potatoes that were not cooked soft. They took them back and brought us new potatoes that were cooked to perfection. Our server was nice and very attentive. Their cheesecake bar looked so good. 2 couples stopped by later and enjoyed it. I've had the opportunity to dine here with my husband twice. The first was a pleasant experience. Everyone we encountered seemed to be in an especially good mood even though it was very busy. We shared an entrée after the server described the size of the portions. She wasn't exaggerating, We shared a pork tenderloin dinner with all the fixens. Very good. We promised ourselves to go back for lunch. A month or two later, we returned to Jamie's for lunch, precisely for the pork tenderloin sandwich. The friendly staff at Jamies truly do work as a team, a family. Our most excellently prepared pork tenderloins were exactly as described on the menu, 'bigger than the bun' and Tiffany, our superb server, always smiling grinned even wider when she saw the shocked but happy expression on my face as she sat my plate down. We trimmed off enough meat to take home to make another two sandwiches. The delicious fries were seasoned, piled high with pickles, lettuce, slices of juicy white onions and a juicy tomato slice on top. It was the best food I've had all year. After calling Jamie's to check on Gluten Free options I finally tried them. First I spoke to Dorothy who was amazingly well informed. She could talk with me very knowledgeably about the menu potential options and ingredients. She let me know to alert them about my Celiac and they would take the proper precautions. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a pulled smoked chicken salad and the chicken was heavenly, so flavorful. I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce but overall the salad was excellent. There are a variety of items I could have ordered, including a bunless burger as they aren't full of fillers. If you don't require GF I would check out the desserts which look incredible. My friend had one and said it was delicious. It was a decadent cheesecake. It's so nice to have another option in Mountain Home. And their Serve Safe certifications are prominently displayed. My first time there. Fairly new restaurant. Very nice inside. Very large menu, something for everyone one. I was with my daughter and adult granddaughter. I had the catfish and bbq ribs, they were both great. The breading on the catfish was excellent, not over fried, and the ribs were very tender. The barbecue sauce was very good also. Very tender. My granddaughter loved her tortellini with a pepper sauce. My daughter loved her meal also. Great place. I will go back a lot, as they have so many things to chose from. read more

The parking lot looked full, but found a place way in back. Was prepared for a long wait - wrong. I was seated in less than 5 minutes, the service was excellent & the food was awesome. I had the broasted chicken with real mashed potatoes & real skillet gravy. I scraped my plate clean & leaned back thinking "WOW THIS IS A COME BACK"!! So I ordered a "to go" of hand breaded deep fried pork loin for dinner, which ended up being enough for breakfast also. I'm ready to just try everything on the menu. Have had many excellent meals at the Harrison, AR store, unfortunately, cannot say the same about the Mt. Home, AR one. First tho', I will say the staff was great, very helpful and attentive without being intrusive. My husband's meal was fine, but mine was flat out awful. I had the sliders. The buns were very stale and hard and while 2 of the fillings were fine, the third one that was supposed to be chicken salad was rock hard and actually looked like it was a miniature thigh bone.
