Cannot say enough good things about this place! Managers Chris and Michael donated 6 pizzas to the nurses of smith crossing for our hard work fighting the pandemic! It's my favorite place to go after work and just relax while throwing a beer back with my co-workers. The night life is amazing and ALL the bartenders are super sweet!! We keep going back because the food is indeed excellent. However, the service needs to be improved. The last 2 times we went, we had to hunt down our server for refills and our check. It was pretty crowded when we went on Sunday around 530, but the previous time it was completely empty right around 11 when they opened. Pretty cool place, went for a free show and did not expect what I saw. The bartenders were very nice and the security guard by the door was pretty cool, struck up some conversation with him in between sets. I would suggest removing the tables that are closest to the stage, it felt very cramped when I was watching the band play. Even more so with that stupid door that is right of the stage and people pushing past to go smoke outside.But cool atmosphere, if another bigger name like Joywave were to perform I would for sure drive down from the city. Also lol @ the people complaining about a 3% credit card charge. I don't know if you don't understand math, but 3% on a $100 tab is $3. So if you are going to spend $100 at a place and can't afford an extra $3 for the convenience of paying with a card either a) shut up as you obviously can't afford to go out or b) withdraw some cash from an ATM before going. read more

This bar was packed in the middle of Covid. I get it that everyone is different but still. Plus the bouncer was extremely rude - I get double checking ID but when I hand you three forms of identification that all match, how are you going to stand there and tell me my ID is fake until I tell you ok call Mokena police to have them run my license so I can have it back. read more

I'm so disappointed. If I could give negative stars I would! You were towing cars last night without warning. Why wouldn't you tell your patrons their cars would be towed if they parked in the Swim School lot? That would be the respectful thing to do. Then you put up the signs after we're all in the bar! Smells like a kickback scheme to me. Why don't you have adequate parking for your patrons to start with? Then when the car was towed you don't let people in to try to find a ride home or use the bathroom. You told a stranded woman to "go pee on the side of the building"! How crude and humiliating!! The place is large and the minute you step in makes you think Nashville. Jamo's is also very clean. Service was fantastic and food is burgers, wings, sandwiches. The food was good. For a Friday night the place was not very crowded. Possibly the credit card up charge is a reason why. Jamo's charges a 2.49% up charge for using credit cards and immediately pissed me off. I wanted to leave and go next door to Legends or El Cortez. I can see on the future wait staff taking the brunt of this policy in reduced tips. If credit card fees are too high, find a different vendor. This and this alone will drive me to never return. This policy also led to the low star rating. read more

My husband called to ask about gift cards. The website said they are accepting gift cards for their dads business. We ordered food and when we arrived we were informed that they do not accept them. No one in the restaurant was wearing masks and none of the employees were wearing masks either. Thankfully we did not accept the food after being told they will not honor gift cards after the website said they would and their own employee said they would honor them. Very disappointing to hear that we drove all the way out there but also relieved at the same time since no one there seems to care about being safe for covid. I am very surprised no one has shut them down and very disappointed if the local police are aware and doing nothing about it. Went there for a college football game after seeing the specials for a Saturday on their website. The specials weren't offered even though I showed them their own website. They finally honored my drink special until there was a change of managers (Chris). Then he wouldn't honor it. The place is nothing special. Chili tasted scorched. Great place for food, music ( atmosphere) and drinks. I recommend trying their food as it is fresh and very flavorful! My number one go to is their Honey Sriracha wings, both boneless and traditional. This place is close to home and a perfect spot for a family dinner or a friend get together. read more
