Came by mid week for Dine Out Vancouver. It is in an industrial area behind Ironwood Plaza...kind of in the middle of nowhere. There is a retail store on the main level and seating for what they consider to be a restaurant on the 2nd level where they also have work offices. There were no windows for the restaurant and the washroom was by the retail space on the main level. This is a $60 per person Dine Out menu and was expecting a little more in terms of set up and ambiance. The Dine Out menu had five courses with options for each. This is a tapas type establishment and understanding it would be small plates. First up was an anchovy and avocado, followed by thinly sliced ham. Both were nice with a glass of red in hand. This was followed by the garlic shrimp....very small shrimp. Then onto the main where we sampled pork ribs and also boneless rib meat. Both were cooked nicely. The final course was cheesecake. A nice ending to the meal. While I appreciate the effort to put out five courses in a small establishment, we have no plans to return.

This place is awesome! Located above a store that sells Spanish delicacies, this restaurant serves food that is outstanding. Plenty of tapas-style offerings, chorizo, jamon, seafood and perhaps the best steak I have ever had. Bring your pocketbook because the prices for the Iberian jamon is not for the faint-of-heart! I heartily recommend this place for foodies!

Very authentic delicious Spanish food. Will come back during the weekend to try out the octopus and shrimp.

There's the free concert, which is good, but personally I find it lame. Where are games or booths to showcase Canadian food or products or something? Why did the volunteer bother to tell us to try the other line because he HEARD it is shorter when the site is closed 10 minutes after we managed to come in? Why did they have only 2 security people in charge which makes the entrance line painfully long? Had a better night when the torch was there, with the fireworks but tonight just showed me how poorly coordinated and informed the event is. Definitely will not be coming back.

You may spot a few horses during your dinner! The seafood chowder was highly recommended so I had that as my entree. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. There were jumbo prawns, fish, mussels and clams. I enjoyed the taste of the broth as well. For dessert, they had a special Japanese style cheesecake which was light and fluffy and accompanied with ice cream, a sprinkle of nuts, and edible flowers. Great friendly service as well!

The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and Anita in particular was awesome. We asked for recommendations and Anita recommended the Seafood Chowder to start which was to die for!!! Best one my Gf and I have ever had anywhere.. For the main dishes we had the Rack of Lamb, and the Beef Bourguignon and both very delicious and very tender. The owner Roxanne and Stephan came by and mingled with everyone and I have to say are incredible hosts and have done an amazing job with the place and the staff. Did I mention they have a 3-Michelin Star Chef?!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to any and everyone to stay, relax, enjoy great dining and unwind. Michael and Teresa:)
