There's parking all around the plaza. The staff was helpful and friendly. The place seems to be on the smaller side but it was clean and nice inside. Before you get your massage, you fill out their sheet with your information and which areas you want them to focus on as well as how strong you want the massage. We also got to pick which oil scent they used to massage us with. We also did a couples massage so they placed us in the same room which was nice. The masseuses would also check in during the massage on how we were feeling. My girlfriend and I did the deep tissue massage which basically involved the whole body. This is a great place for a massage though I wish they would change the headrests! The opening for your face is very small and after 20 minutes or so I have a hard time breathing easily. Once I got a small bruise on my face after a 90-minute massage so I stick with the 30 to 60 minute massages now. I've seen several people here and had deep tissue, Swedish, Thai aroma, and head, neck and shoulder massages. Most of the time I've had a great massage but some have left me with pulled or sore muscles so I tend to stick with several people. Overall, I really like Darwan, Penny and Grace because they check in with you and communicate well. Siri and Lisa are good though once Lisa caused a pulled muscle in my back because she twisted it a little hard in one direction. She seemed to neglect parts of my body and over focus on other areas. I don't see her anymore because sometimes her nails were too long and they had an annoying unpleasant sensation which was very distracting. Siri has mostly been good. I think you need to find which massage and therapist work best for your body and needs. Parking is good and the receptionist is really nice and knowledgeable about the different types of massage. They offer hot tea, water, and a special Thai tea they make which is very good. If they could change the headrests I'd book longer massages. read more

I've been really sore from doing heated yoga 6 times a week and my body was desperately in need of some self care. I read so many good reviews which is why I decided to come here and I can see why they have a 5 star rating. I opted for the 60-minute deep tissue massage ($100 + 25% tip), and it was everything I never knew I needed. Before the massage, I was given a paper to mark the areas where I wanted the masseuse to focus, which I thought was a great touch. You also get to choose the strength of the massage (soft, medium, strong) - I went with strong, and even though it was painful (due to my soreness) my body felt so relieved and all the knots in my upper back/shoulders were gone. My massage therapist, Gibb, was professional, skilled, and strong - she really worked out the tension in my muscles. The massage was thorough and tailored to exactly what I needed. I was so relaxed and enjoyed the massage that I was thinking of when my next appointment was going to be. Another nice touch: they offer you water or tea both before and after your appointment, and you even get to choose your preferred scent for the room. The atmosphere was peaceful, the rooms were clean, and the customer service was beyond excellent. I'd also like to mention the front desk coordinator however I did not catch their name. I have nothing bad to say besides I wish they offered like heel and foot massages for those that have to drive or walk a lot and I wish they did a full body 30-min massage but the days I don't have much time the 30-min head, shoulder, and neck massage does the trick. It's a very small lot next to the bigger lot with the shell and Popeyes. It's off of Hostettor and Capitol in San Jose right between Milpitas before you get to the Great mall. I often I have to make a u-turn down Capitol near the vta train tracks and then you turn in the little lot to the right- it's often easy to pass so drive slow as it's before the Popeyes lot. I've been booking 90 min deep tissue sessions the last couple times I've been here because I feel like I have a lot of problem areas. Today I got a massage from Grace, I don't think I ever gotten her before but she was really good! She checks in on you every now and then, not too much that it ruins the massage. She got my shoulders and calves really good. I also put my lower back and she would alternate from my shoulders then sweep down the back. I liked this because it gave my shoulders a break. Usually head and feet aren't really focused on much here but I feel like I got a good short massage for each. Really happy about that! I checked yes for Thai herbal balm and after she rubbed the massage oil off, she went in for another quick massage with the balm I think because usually after the hot towels you're done. Came by for a traditional Thai massage the other day and it was a world class experience, reminding me of Thailand. Booked online and arrived at least 10 minutes early per the e-mail confirmation and was brought over to my room a few minutes after the scheduled time... Parking is available in the strip mall lot next to the homeless encampment. The massage parlor is in a rougher part of town... The massage parlor was spotless and the receptionist was cordial. The waiting room had numerous chairs and there appeared to be 4 or so massage rooms. Requested for a strong traditional Thai massage with no oil, Tiger balm, with walking on the back and the therapist did a phenomenal job, just like in Thailand. Pressure was excellent, especially with her feet. The stretching was excellent. There was a wide variety of moves, just like in Thailand. The room was quiet with calming music as well as the A/C on full blast. The massage parlor provided a pair of shorts as well as undershirt to change into. ~$85 for a 1 hour Thai massage + 18-20% suggested gratuity. They take credit cards for the same price. read more

Booking online was easy and straightforward, and I managed to get the deep tissue massage for both my friend and me for the same time slot (and making sure the appointments have different masseuses). If you want someone to work out knots, this is not really the place. But if you just want a relaxing massage you can fall asleep to, Jandee Thai is a great place! As mentioned in other reviews, the walls are kind of thin and it's a small place so you can hear the conversations going on outside in the lobby area. However, once your massage starts it's pretty easy to tune out. Or there were no more conversations going on in general. I'm not too sure there :) Why I didn't feel like my knots were worked out: my regular massage therapist will spend a good chunk of time working out the same areas where my knots are located. Here they seem to follow a specific workflow to make sure they cover your entire body in your allotted time. There is a sheet in the beginning where you pick the areas of concern and areas to avoid, as well as a scent you'd like. Even though I marked my shoulders and upper back as areas of concern, they only got a couple more extra passes. So for me personally, I'd stick with my regular massage therapist for working out knots, but if I wanted to treat someone to a relaxing massage experience, Jandee Thai would be on the list! read more

My husband and I received a gift card as a wedding gift since Jandee is right next to our house. A year later after our wedding, we finally got around to using the gift certificate. We came in with sore achy muscles from long workouts and an even longer work week. We came in SO READY for a strong, productive deep tissue massage.. the kind that puts you straight to sleep at night and makes you wake up sore (but a good kind of sore). So we booked our 60 minute appointment online which was a pretty simple and easy process. We initially booked it as a couple massage selecting two times close to each other being respectively 5 and 5:15pm. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our massage so that we could fill out our massage cards which included preferred oil scent, medical history, and areas to be selected for focus massage. After turning in our cards, we were escorted to our room which was actually really nice. It was dimly lit, smelled good, and had cubbies for our belongings as well as hooks for our bags. The room was warmed comfortably without being stuffy. The room was clean, organized and the bed was firm yet comfortable to lay on. The masseuses were nice but the best way I could describe the massage was.. milking the clock. The two masseuses walked in slowly, were very slow to start, and were talking to each other in their native language before starting. It seemed like they were just chit chatting to take up some time before beginning work. Now the actual massage was very much average. My masseuse really took her time..the strokes were incredibly slow and not as effective as a deep tissue massage should be. The first half of the hour was mostly just running her elbow down my back again-very slowly. The pressure was fine but the actual stroke and technique was very lacking. The other issue with my massage was that the target areas that were selected on the sheet weren't really followed so I still left with my aching wrist and lower back pain that didn't really feel any relief. My experience wasn't as good as the raving reviews for this place so it makes me believe I just had a bad masseuse or it was a bad day for her. Either way, we left pretty disappointed especially considering how the massage was priced versus the actual quality. read more

It's more than just your regular massage. They are appointment only and it was very easy to book online. I booked a couple's massage for my friend and I. When we arrived, the receptionist was friendly and had us fill out a form marking where we wanted the masseuse to focus on and if there were areas where we wanted them to avoid. In the couple's room, there is a bar that allows the masseuse to step on your back. Only one person is able to have their back stepped on and my friend chose to include this service. She said it was an amazing experience and really great for those who like the extra pressure. Jandee also provides an outfit for you to change into which is great for those who don't feel comfortable being nude during a massage. The massages range from $87-184, a bit pricy but sooo worth it. First timer today. Came in for a one hour Swedish massage with Penny. When you arrive, the receptionist hands you a clipboard with a form to fill out. You can notate there what areas you want more attention to vs areas you want them to avoid. After, you remove your shoes in the front & they provide slippers for you. I assume you can probably just arrive in your own slippers too. After, the receptionist escorts you to your room to change. I brought a hair clip & head band so I can have my hair out of the way. Penny was great. Asked me every so often how I felt & got a lot of my knots loosened from my back. At times I got tensed bc I am sort of ticklish so she would lightly tap the area I would tense & tell me to relax as she was giggling. I was giggling too. She made me feel very comfortable & relaxed.
