Always pleasant Always professional Always educational Always comfortable. I like this office and the staff as well. They are always punctual and I have never had an issue getting a appointment that worked with my schedule. The chairs are comfortable the staff is knowledge. I'd consider them friends at this point. They address me by name when I walk in and always with a smile. I would recommend these folks to any and everybody old, young, short, tall, man, woman, and child. Not dogs though, I don't think they work with dogs. I approve this message.

They canceled my second appointment without explanation the night before. I had to reschedule, which is hard for me because of the crippling PTSD I suffer from. I used the absolute dental plan, and they do the least amount of work to maximize profit. My two lower molars are still sensitive a year later. The dentist had said that I would be required to get root canals. I don't agree with that because I have had crowns done before without root canals. They have an office they refer you to for root canals. I want to say well it could be an obvious kickback. I can't say for sure of course. The dental cleaning was good. When I told the hygienist that I suffer from horrible PTSD due to trauma, he recommended that I make fun of my trauma. Like it's something I can control, I usually go home in misery because dental offices just don't get. I had written this on my intake form but I guess no cared to read it. I guess I need be medicated in order to get dentals done, it's no fun.

With that said, over the years.. things happen. Including breaking teeth on popcorn. I had a toothache from hell last week and I was brought to tears in pain. My mother knows Dr. Mow from her chiropractor office and called his office to get me an emergency appointment. Allison scheduled my appointment for the same day and was just the absolute sweetest, she was so kind and gentle. I cried the entire visit, heavily from anxiety and pain.. the dental hygienist, I forgot her name I was in so much pain, was just so unbelievably kind to me. She was soothing and tried so hard to distract me from my pain. She was absolutely, hands down.. going above and beyond for me to feel comfortable and to find comfort. She even tried to get my mom to come see me, but covid regulations prevented that. I appreciated the sentiment, I was a mess and needed my mom and she recognized it. Another assistant came into check on me, too, so kind!! Finally, Dr. Mow and I met and he was very gentle and understanding. He could sense my level of fear, anxiety and pain. He walked me through everything, recommended a wonderful surgeon and prescribed antibiotics to assist. Best part was he numbed the tooth that was causing me pain so I could eat/drink, finally, after several days. I will be returning to Dr. Mow's office to receive ongoing care and work through my phobia. Thank you so much for everything!!

In the past I had encountered issues here with months of nerve pain after getting numbed for a cavity fill. I jerked when she hit the nerve numbing me up because it really hurt. Another time the dental assistant helping with replacing an old filling in a back molar used my face to support the weight of her hand as she worked in my mouth. That caused stress and pain in my jaw. When I had to have an old crown replaced I was dreading it and I should have trusted my gut and gone elsewhere. I had the same experience as Td O. where afterwards the tooth was sensitive to hot and cold and caused jaw pain for months after. I went back three separate times on the space of 6 months and saw two different dentists. I was charged every time. Even though the original was an older crown, I had no pain before the replacement. I was told it was probably an issue with my bite and I got a referral to an orthodontist. I already have and do wear a nightguard and had it before any crowns so my bite hasn't changed. I had another crown that needed to be replaced so I went back to my original dentist who had done my crowns before. It's a drive but so worth it. The crown he did gave me zero issues other than some initial soreness due to the drilling etc they have to do. Even the procedure itself was pain free. He has a technique when numbing to avoid hitting nerves. I still have issues with the Desert Dentistry crown and will probably pay my old dentist to redo it because there's something about it that isn't right. It's like a square block that doesn't even feel tooth shaped and has severe edges. It's not even smooth like my new crown. I still get twinges os pain when flossing or eating hard items or extreme temps. Total amateur work that has caused me a lot of pain. Taking me and my family to my old dentist from now on. I would rather drive the extra 45 minutes each way than deal with ongoing pain that never gets addressed.

I floss religiously, but then the Dr. would have known that if she had taken a look at my mouth. After telling me I needed two crowns, she finally looked at my mouth for all of 10 seconds. So disappointed. So angry that my insurance will pay $250 for that service. Of course, I don't trust the diagnosis and will have to take the time to get a second opinion.
