I've been taking my kids there since they were little and they love her. Now three of them are grown. She's the best we've been to.

Approximately seven months post procedure, Dr. Bahatnagar acknowledged in writing, what was described to me as "composite material failure." I spent 17 months attempting to resolve this matter privately before posting publicly. I initially requested any contribution towards the $38,000 in corrective treatment. Quotes from specialist to fix the failing material and bite issue. After her office retained legal council, she declined. I reduced my request to a simple refund of my original $6000 payment. Despite Dr. Bhatnagar previously documenting the material failure, my refund request was also denied in writing. I am sharing my personal experience, so prospective patient's understand the potential risk and financial consequences, if complications occur. I have retained all dental records, photographic evidence, and written communications regarding this matter.

They did not bother to tell me until after I got fluoride and x-rays, then let me know as I'm checking out. Hygienist told me i had a couple of cavities, then the new doctor comes in, gives me a weak handshake and tells me I have eight cavities, and I am then asked if I will be able to pay for the fillings up front and get reimbursed through my insurance... I pay over $125 for everything done that day, then get a bill from my insurance for the remainder. Safe to say I cancelled my next cleaning and will not be going back. Very dishonest and greedy.

Thankfully, my wife referred me to Ahwatukee Dentistry, and now I completely understand why she spoke so highly of them. The service here is second to none. After my first appointment, we reviewed my treatment plan, and I was impressed by how thorough it was. Everything was broken down clearly, giving me a complete understanding of what my upcoming visits would entail. The team here is simply amazing. Special thanks to: * Dr. Megan Lanie, DMD * Kay Jackson, RHD The entire office was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. I'm so happy to have found a new dental office that feels like home. I can finally say my dental care is in great hands.

In the past I had encountered issues here with months of nerve pain after getting numbed for a cavity fill. I jerked when she hit the nerve numbing me up because it really hurt. Another time the dental assistant helping with replacing an old filling in a back molar used my face to support the weight of her hand as she worked in my mouth. That caused stress and pain in my jaw. When I had to have an old crown replaced I was dreading it and I should have trusted my gut and gone elsewhere. I had the same experience as Td O. where afterwards the tooth was sensitive to hot and cold and caused jaw pain for months after. I went back three separate times on the space of 6 months and saw two different dentists. I was charged every time. Even though the original was an older crown, I had no pain before the replacement. I was told it was probably an issue with my bite and I got a referral to an orthodontist. I already have and do wear a nightguard and had it before any crowns so my bite hasn't changed. I had another crown that needed to be replaced so I went back to my original dentist who had done my crowns before. It's a drive but so worth it. The crown he did gave me zero issues other than some initial soreness due to the drilling etc they have to do. Even the procedure itself was pain free. He has a technique when numbing to avoid hitting nerves. I still have issues with the Desert Dentistry crown and will probably pay my old dentist to redo it because there's something about it that isn't right. It's like a square block that doesn't even feel tooth shaped and has severe edges. It's not even smooth like my new crown. I still get twinges os pain when flossing or eating hard items or extreme temps. Total amateur work that has caused me a lot of pain. Taking me and my family to my old dentist from now on. I would rather drive the extra 45 minutes each way than deal with ongoing pain that never gets addressed.

Hygienist showed up late to a 7am appt which people take because they have to go to work. Then when I said I needed to be out of there by 8am, the cleaning lasted 10 minutes. She took my X-rays, the doctor came in and didn't even look at my mouth, but told me I needed 2 crowns - $2300 please and asked me if I floss! I floss religiously, but then the Dr. would have known that if she had taken a look at my mouth. After telling me I needed two crowns, she finally looked at my mouth for all of 10 seconds. So disappointed. So angry that my insurance will pay $250 for that service. Of course, I don't trust the diagnosis and will have to take the time to get a second opinion.

They canceled my second appointment without explanation the night before. I had to reschedule, which is hard for me because of the crippling PTSD I suffer from. I used the absolute dental plan, and they do the least amount of work to maximize profit. My two lower molars are still sensitive a year later. The dentist had said that I would be required to get root canals. I don't agree with that because I have had crowns done before without root canals. They have an office they refer you to for root canals. I want to say well it could be an obvious kickback. I can't say for sure of course. The dental cleaning was good. When I told the hygienist that I suffer from horrible PTSD due to trauma, he recommended that I make fun of my trauma. Like it's something I can control, I usually go home in misery because dental offices just don't get. I had written this on my intake form but I guess no cared to read it. I guess I need be medicated in order to get dentals done, it's no fun.
