I picked up the rug and brought it straight to Koko Boodakian, where they not only thoroughly and properly cleaned the rug, but hand-repaired the rug in-house, all in much less time than it took the other place. Color and pattern matching is excellent. And Sager, my main contact, was fantastic. The rug may not be perfect but it's pretty close. Thank you Sager and Koko for saving a very special carpet for me! When Tao first came by for a free estimate, he had great suggestions to make the space look larger and more open. We wanted to try to match the existing hardwood floors we already had as much as possible. Tao immediately knew what kind of floors to use and he even had samples on hand so that I could compare them with our current floors. Tao's estimate was very reasonable and comparable to other companies I reached out to. I went with Tao because of his background as a designer and I trusted he would make sure the floors look great! It ended up being a great decision because we are very happy with our new floors! The installation process was very smooth and even finished earlier than expected. The crew was very respectful of our home and did a great job keeping the house clean after their work was done. No other company did this. Second, he had the lowest quoted price for the job. Third, after I selected him, he was transparent about tradeoffs rather than purely trying to upsell me. For example, he quoted me on installing wood registers everywhere when I asked, but recommended I do so only in the hallways. This advice saved me $1k and delivered a result in very happy with. Finally, Tao was easily the most response person I interacted with. It was a pleasure to work with Tao, and I'm very happy with the outcome.

I said I was moving in a month and would get back to him when I had more details, and when I did, someone came and picked it up the next day and it was back a week later (earlier than expected!!!). I set up a pickup date, and I mentioned the discount code I was sent via text as I am in their system. - This discount code was not honored. I failed to notice when I paid the bill because our home is under construction, and when I called back to remind their manager she denied that I was ever sent this. When I explained that I couldn't have dreamed up such a code and it was part of the reason I gave them my business again, she still refused to honor it. - When she called to let me know about setting up the delivery, her tone and her comments were accusatory "arent you reading my emails, I have tried to reach you". I apologized, but she proceeded to say "we cant store your rugs here" - again in a very accusatory tone. The email oversight was my bad, my intention was not. As anyone who has had to go through a renovation knows, details can easily get lost when you arent living in your home space. If you are looking for a company that honors their promotions and has professional customer service, go elsewhere. Boston Rug Cleaning is not your place.

The customer service team is super polite, efficient, and timely and RETURNS VOICEMAILS!! The technicians that arrive are polite, remove their shoes, introduce themselves, wear clean uniforms and go the extra mile. A recent guy pointed out a few additional spots on my rug and cleaned them without being asked. They're removed all kids of stains from my linen couch with 100% success. Highly recommend if you have kids or pets or care about your rugs and upholstery... I will be a customer for life.
