This is basically a concierge style medical practice that allows for a better option to see your physician when you need to. There is a cost associated to this level of service, but given the current healthcare climate, I think it is money well spent. This allows Dr. Smith to actually know what ailments you might have or how to maintain or improve your health. With the MDVIP program, Dr. Smith has an opportunity to know your name and your comprehensive health history, not just reading your chart. This is a very custom approach to medicine that you don't see in most doctors offices. The wait to see Dr. Smith is usually very short. If you call to set up an appointment, often times you can be seen the same day or the next day depending on his schedule. In most cases once you walk in, you will be directed to the separate waiting area for Dr. Smith's patients that includes bottled water, TV, and light healthy snacks. The longest I have had to wait is around five or 10 minutes. The nurse will come and get you, take you to an exam room, and talk about what the reason for your visit is and to take your vitals. Dr. Smith is generally prompt with his appointment times, and wastes little time getting to see you. I have been a patient of Dr. Paul Smith for several years and know he is a real person, and talks to you like a real person. He knows about you and your family, and how your health affects both. He enjoys athletic activities, and often shares stories of his recent adventures. He is passionate about the care he provides to his patients, and does everything he can to understand what ails them or how to improve their overall health. There are numerous opportunities throughout the year to interact with Dr. Smith with outdoor activities, cooking seminars, or trying new athletic activities to help provide alternatives to a sedentary lifestyle. Another component of the program includes an annual wellness check. This is similar to a baseline physical, that evaluates your comprehensive well-being and is way more thorough. There is a battery of tests and blood samples taken to identify areas of concern and or areas that you are doing well with. It is always nice to see improvement in your progress year after year.

He attends this Specialty Clinic and has multiple doctors there in different specialties. Without exception, he is treated with the utmost respect and afforded the very best care. The doctors he sees there are top class, in fact, many of the doctors he saw in their private practice, he also sees here as they also work for the VA. Whether be Urology, Nephrology or the Home O2 Care, they shine with five stars. One of the most impressive things about the VA staff here is they all seem to love their job working with Veterans, they always thank him for his service and make sure his experience is positive every single visit. During the pandemic, if they can help you avoid a trip in, they do so, on those occasions when you simply must go in, their safety precautions are on point! Five Stars well earned!

Sitting here this morning watching countless numbers of patients, some very ill with probably every imaginable disease from their active duty in the military. Located on Kirmin in Midtown, parking can be a bit of a challenge. My recommendation: Go early. The building is new, clean, modern. The people who work there are pleasant and patient, and have your best interest in mind. I watched one admin worker talked patiently with a patient who got confused with his appointment and he was not happy that his doctor was not there today. She handled the situation very well. The doctors have very good bedside manner. Nurses were very helpful. Glad we have these services and glad the VA Medical Center is here in Reno!

But they treat many other conditions, including tendon issues, muscle injuries and rare, inherited disorders. Dr. Dennehey provides excellent care. She is professional, proficient and personable. The office reception staff are friendly, proficient and professional. The medical assistant is also professional, proficient and personable. The office is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I appreciate the treatment I receive at their office and I have made my appointment for next year.
