Yes Theresa. Call my scheduler Steven on 775.789.3905 We will need up to date xrays which we can organize as a start.

Does he do spinal cortisone injections?

I do not but work with excellent pain doctors who do: Google the following doctors in Reno: Zollinger, Muir, Keating, Storm, Berman, Pitman, Reyher, Bantum, Twombley. Good…

Jenn was wonderful and immediately helped put me at ease. I especially appreciate when a nurse gets my IV on the first try--it may seem like a small thing, but it certainly doesn't go unnoticed! It's always such a strange feeling to go under anesthesia and then wake up with everything already finished. Bette was incredibly calming, kind, and attentive during my recovery, which made the experience much more comfortable. I also want to thank Dr. Kaiser for his care and concern in making sure all of my issues were addressed. My gratitude extends to the anesthesiologist and every nurse in the operating room for their professionalism, compassion, and excellent care throughout the entire process. I'm truly thankful for everyone who helped make a stressful experience as comfortable as possible. Hopefully, this will be my last surgery for a very long time!

I had a very frustrating experience at the ROC Express location in Galena…read more Earlier that morning, I used ROC's online chat to let them know that my 10-month-old son's splint was coming apart because he had been pulling at it. I uploaded a photo showing the stuffing coming out. A few hours later, a ROC employee called me back and specifically told me I could go to any ROC Express location to have his splint rewrapped. I even asked if the Galena location was okay since it's closest to my house, and she told me yes. Before leaving home, I completed the online check-in, explained exactly why I was coming, and provided my phone number and email. I checked in about 30 minutes before arriving. By the time we got to the office, my 10-month-old had actually kicked the splint off completely. I even held it up and showed it to the receptionist because I was genuinely concerned that he no longer had any support on his injured leg. When I got to the Galena office, it was completely empty. No customers. I walked up to the front desk, and the receptionist (Jocelyn) simply stared at me without saying hello or asking how she could help. I told her who I was and that I had checked in online. After reading my online check-in, she told me (rudely) they couldn't help because my son had an appointment scheduled for Monday. I explained that I had just spoken with someone from ROC who specifically instructed me to come there to have the splint rewrapped. She insisted they couldn't do anything--not even rewrap the splint--and that he needed to wait for his appointment. Despite showing her that he had kicked it off completely. She was very rude & uncaring. What made even less sense is that ROC Express exists to evaluate and treat orthopedic injuries. If I had walked in off the street with my son after his injury, they would have treated him. Instead, despite having an injured 10-month-old with no splint on his leg, I was told they couldn't even rewrap it. The explanation simply didn't add up. To make matters worse, they had all of my information from my online check-in. If they truly believed they couldn't help, they could have called me before I drove there with my baby. Instead, I made the trip only to be turned away. I then spent about 30 minutes on hold trying to reach someone at ROC. By chance, the same employee who had called me earlier answered. She told me the Galena office was mistaken and instructed me to go to the downtown ROC Express instead. Within an hour, my son was seen at the downtown location and placed in a cast without any issues. The difference between the two locations was night and day. The downtown staff was knowledgeable, compassionate, and efficient. Unfortunately, my experience at Galena was the exact opposite. Between the misinformation, poor customer service, and unwillingness to help an injured infant, I left feeling extremely disappointed. I sincerely hope ROC addresses the training and customer service at this location because families shouldn't have to drive from office to office with an injured child due to incorrect information.

He did a fusion for me in C6-C7 in 2013. It continues to be doing well. Dr Demers did surgery on my dad in 2019 and 2020, and my dad was satisfied with care and recovery (he passed in 2020 but from a non related condition). Now, I have some lumbar spine issues and Dr Demers has been supportive. He even explained that I needed to see orthopedic for my knee. As for front desk, I haven't had any bad experience with them either. I do a lot of check in on the Athena Health app, so they already have information.

Of course i know nothing at all about what surgery entailed, so you would think they would discuss with you what type of surgery you want.. There were 4 of us on the same floor in the hospital and we all had screws put in, why were not asked if we wanted to wait for a replacement? I do not get that at all.... Those screws he put in were the worst...OUCH! They were popping out of the side of my leg as I walked. Hurt like hell and I used my walker for days... Ridiculous!! I went for a 2 week follow up. and I when I go to Check in , , I mentioned that I had a Cardiology appt. next store in an hour and the lady at the counter at Swift was just awful. She was loud, and had personal stuff on the phone and was loud about it, soo tacky.. Soo unprofessional.,this offense is sooo disorganized.. After I waited an hour and me telling them I had to leave, I went to the desk 10 mins before my next appt. She said that I HAD NEVER BEEN CHECKED IN AT ALL! ARE YOU SERIOUS??? At that same exact moment, I got a call asking me why I was not at my appt., and I missed it, I said, dude, I am in the lobby for the last hour, I did not miss it, your girl forgot to sign me in.. They got me back for a fast beat, then I left the my appt., and was back in an hour, then they saw me.. they felt bad, but still... I went back for my appt., and Dr. Lilyquist had some interns with him we talked about my hip and I asked him, that i felt like I was shorter on my left side. He just brushed it off.... anyways , after that appt., I went back to Great Basin Orthopedics (GBO), where my Dr. said I was way shorter, and sent me to the Hangar Clinic where they made me a left shoe 1" higher as I was 1" shorter on the left side, I AM ALREADY short enough, and that made me feel so disabled, not cool at all, I cried.. Dr. Lilyquist called me after he dare one review and I told him all of this, he just said sometimes that happens. WHATEVER! Glad I am back at GBO!
