I love Janna. She, too, is my Alpha and my Omega for all unmentionable waxing. I followed her from Campbell to Los Gatos and I think I would do it if she moved even further. That's called costumer loyalty and absolute trust, which she does a fabulous job of building. Every time I see Janna, she maintains professionalism while also making you feel like you've been BFFs forever. We always seem to use those 45 minutes chatting about our love lives, latest travel stories, music, and philosophical theories on life. I'm excited to try one of her facials, which is also infused with a relaxation massage. She says that is key to a good facial, not merely just putting products on people's faces. She's always very intentional about her work and places a high value on providing customers with quality service and a worthwhile experience. The facility itself, which looks like a residential house from the outside, is a spacious, clean, and cute place. It may be tricky to find at first, but is still convenient to find parking. I was nervous so say the least when i went in for my first Brazillian ever. Janna immediately put me at ease, she was very warm and welcoming but also very professional. The facility itself is lovely, very nice environment. I kid you not, the wax itself was really not paintful! Don't get me wrong it's not a pleasent feeling but Jenna is great at what she does and she talks to you the whole time so you are distracted from what's going on. Janna moved to a new location in Los Gatos. It is a great, private space. She also has some new product lines and continues to try to use all natural products. Personally, I do not like to put a bunch of chemicals on my skin!! Janna is also working on being eco conscious, which I really appreciate. I have been going to Jana a few years now and I cannot believe it's taken so long for me to write this review. She is absolutely amazing in every way. Such a calm presence and makes you feel spoiled the moment you enter the cute little house. Her Brazilians are excellent and little pain. Best I've ever had. Her facials and treatments are also wonderful. Not only relaxing but makes my skin so smooth. So I'm moving this review over here because Janna has moverd to La Spa Bella Derma in Campbell! Here's my (slightly edited) previous review!: Janna at Bella Derma gives the best Brazilian wax ever. It is so hard to find someone who does a REAL brazilian the right way. I'm sorry, but you're waxing my naughty bits, don't ask me to put on some stupid paper panties. That is so annoying, and Janna never does that. She is really mellow and puts you right at ease, and chats the whole time so you don't feel awkward (well, any more awkward than you have to!) She has super quick hands, which make a painful process so much more bearable and she uses premium products to minimize pain and redness. I am always happy with her waxes and have referred so many of my friends there. She makes it pretty fun...I actually look forward to my appointments! The new spa is so cute and even has a little boutique with total retail therapy girl goodies. yum! read more

This was my very first experience with waxing and I've got to say that although I don't have a lot of previous experience, I can't imagine an experience like this going any better. Janna was so nice and patient with me (since I was a first timer - and at getting a brazilian wax at that) and she was great. She made me feel very relaxed and helped me get through the process with the minimal amount of pain possible. I loved that she is so easy to talk to and made what I considered to be an embarrassing experience to one of complete comfort. Wow I literally just walked in the door after my brazilian appointment with Janna and she was amazing!! I called at 10am this morning to see if she could fit me in today and she fit me in during a last minute cancellation at noon! The spa smells amazing, there was relaxing music in the room, and the most comfortable spa bed i've ever laid on... I literally felt my blood pressure drop as I completely relaxed. She was super sweet and I could tell would chat as much or as little as I liked. She used two different types of wax and it was as painless a brazilian I've ever had...and I've had a lot! I've been getting brazilians for about 2 years now in San Jose, San Francisco, and Washington, DC and let me tell you, this was by far the best experience I'd had! Janna provides the whole package! And heads up, if you're paying with credit card, you have to tell her the tip or total before she swipes your card... I didnt know that and after she swiped it she just said "that's ok, you dont' have to tip" but there was no way I couldn't tip her!!! Great price, great value, great service and quality!!!! I went to Janna for the first time today for my brows (have had them done before) and she was awesome! She has a more private area behind Parlour 308 and she talked to me the whole time. I came out a little red since I have uber sensitive skin to begin with, but my brows look amazing! We talked a little about skin as well and I really love her natural approach. I had just had neck surgery and was unable to bend over in the shower to shave. This is where the great Janna Bowman came in. When I got out of school, I came back home looking for someone to trust with my eyebrows and no one was making the cut until I found Janna. I have been going to her for about a year and she is great! I have been around the block with hair removal (wax, laser, you name it). Janna is remarkably thorough, precise and a sweet person to boot! I have tried other places around town, but Janna has found a loyal client in me. Heard about miracle-worker Janna so thought I'd offer her a challenge with my fickle skin. Well, her reputation for high quality work is well deserved. My first visit was centered around the Intraceauticals Oxygen Infusion facial which was, in a word, incredible. My skin glowed afterwards and even looked facial-fresh for a few days after. Janna also makes the experience very relaxing and you don't feel the least bit rushed. Soothing and enriching. I went back two months later because my skin was splotchy and acting weird - peeling and dry in some spots, reddish in others, oily in yet another area. She asked a lot of good questions about my skin care routine and identified my overzealous use of essential oils as part of the problem. She offered great advice, did a very soothing, cleaning facial that calmed down my unhappy skin, and generally improved my appearance and outlook. I love that she uses the Schedulicity online scheduling program to set up appointments, which sends reminders and followups. Janna has a great deal of academic and hands-on experience as an esthetician and I understand is creating some of her own products which I hope to try and Yelp about! It's not easy to get an appointment because she has a very busy practice and longtime clients, which speaks to her high quality. read more
