    Salad

We came here for my mom's birthday dinner, and and we were all so excited because we haven't had a real hibachi meal in forever! It was exactly how we remembered: multiple courses, an entertaining chef, and amazing food. We even had enough for leftovers! They also brought my mom a free brownie sundae for her birthday. I got the hibachi chicken and filet, and it was all flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked. My only complaint is that when I received my salad, there was a hair right on the top of it that clearly wasn't mine. Our waitress apologized and brought me another one. It was definitely gross, but it was fixed quickly and everything else with our meal was perfect. Hibachi is always a treat, and Japan Inn is the best in the area in my experience.

Went here for lunch for a friend's birthday. As we all know, our lunchtime can be constraint especially if you go with multiple people. We did let the staff know of the short time frame that we had to eat. The staff advised us that it would be absolutely no problem that the food made pretty quickly and we would be fine to return to work on time. They were absolutely right as the service was exceptional. The chef was hilarious and also cooked really well. We had a great time for my friend's birthday and we're able to make it back on time. Will definitely go back again.

    Steak hibachi with fried rice

"Whiskers" was our hibachi chef joining for a birthday dinner event. He was fun, charismatic and entertaining. The food came out well cooked, well portioned and extremely tasty. As apart of the Hibachi dinner experience, you get an appetizer of salad, miso soup, and your entree of rice/protein/veggies. You'll more than likely have a to go baggie by the end of the night. The average price for hibachi per person was about 30/35$ ( dependent on what protein or combination of protein you selected. ). You can have members choose something that is not a hibachi dinner and order other items instead like sushi or pad Thai. They cook and serve the rice and veggies first and then last the protein of your choice. It can be tempting to start eating the rice and veggies as you wait, I recommend to wait until your protein is ready as that is the most costly part of your meal and it's best to eat it fresh and hot!! If you're a beef/steak person, I recommend getting the Filet Mignon over the regular steak as it makes a true difference. This was my first visit to Japan Inn' Weston location as I usually go to the Sunrise location. I liked this one a bit more as it seemed more spacious, modern and the plaza it sits in is very cute and you can take a nice walk looking at the other stores and businesses.

    TOKIO ROLL
    Indiana L.

On Saturday, we were at the Weston Town Center and craving sushi, so we decided to stop at Japan Inn. We were seated immediately, and the server promptly came to our table. I ordered the Tokio Roll, which was the roll that the server recommended, and it was delicious. It was a fried roll with toppings, and while both the roll and the toppings were great on their own, together they were amazing. Surprisingly, it was also quite filling. The server was attentive throughout our meal. During our time there, we saw the staff celebrating birthdays at two tables, and the way they did it was unique. They put on a fun spectacle while singing and playing the drums, but it wasn't annoying. I would definitely return.

    Chef Pancho firing it up

If you ever get the chance to have Chef Pancho as your hibachi chef -- you're in for a treat! From the moment he started cooking, he had everyone laughing and smiling. His sense of humor and fun energy made the entire dining experience unforgettable. He kept the whole table entertained with his jokes, tricks, and perfectly timed punchlines while skillfully grilling up some of the best hibachi I've ever had. The food was amazing -- everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and served with flair. You can really tell he loves what he does and puts his heart into every plate. He made the night feel special for everyone at the table. I'd 100% recommend requesting him if you can -- he's easily the best hibachi chef we've ever had! ‍

Love this hibachi place. Reservations are recommended as it gets so busy especially on the weekends. We have always had kind servers and recently the manager went above and beyond to accommodate our 1.5 yr old daughter. They brought her practice chopsticks and ice cream. The food is always tasty and the portions are large. The ambiance is lively and it is a great place for a birthday celebration.

    K-HIB STEAK & SCALLOPS

Just take a look at the photo and tell me that's supposed to be an appropriate portion for an adult man? my family and I walked into this place for Father's Day, which we thought it was going to be a good idea, but as soon as we sat down, for some reason, the server was constantly forgetting our orders for some reason? We specifically asked for no ice waters and etc. Next we have to wait until a solid 50 to 55 minutes before our actual hibachi started mind you the guy who arrived looks super tired and depressed, and he was just boring overall... When I come to eat a hibachi it's because I like to see a chef that enjoys the cooking experience and serving the people that wants to eat his food, but this dude was super depressed... once his boring performance was over and everyone got their equal share of proportions for some reason he underserved me? personally, I got the steak and scallops and in terms of protein like I understand is that's what he wants to give me small portions of, but it was pretty obvious that he also barely gave me any veggies as well? I sat there confused, wondering what in the world happened where he thought it was appropriate enough to underserve me, protein, and veggies? ALSO that actually reminds me that he went overkill with the salt even when he told him not to... gigi tried to play it off but it's awkward enough when I finished my entire plate 10 minutes before everyone else did... The chef said his name was sheem? Sounds fake but oh well. At least she tried giving us free shots... Bad service by gigi. 100% do not recommend

The host's implication was there was a wait and he couldn't be sure how long. And his body language was pretty dismissive. Your portrayal is inaccurate. In addition, your reservation system offers no option of indoor vs outdoor seating. 99% of your patrons were eating inside because it was drizzling, hot, and humid. If you had offered outside only at the time I made the reservation I would not have made the reservation. Maybe look into adding that option instead of surprising guests. It's tucked in the shopping center next to Publix and across from a school. It's in no way obvious from the street, and even the sign is obscured. The restaurant is kind of plain inside. Nothing about it stood out as being great. And they weren't too busy on a weekday at lunch time; that could be good or bad, I'm not sure. I think it's owned by a Venezuelan family, but it's definitely Japanese in its menu. And they have a whole vegan menu! That's pretty awesome. The waiter was very nice and fairly accommodating as we asked for a few things. We opted to go for the vegan menu, and because we were a party of 5, we took the 2 appetizer & 5 entrees option on the menu. The thing about it is that the entrees were all interesting and unique in some ways. They weren't regular sushi with some substitutions. They really made an effort. For the appetizers, we took the gyoza and the bao buns. The gyoza (5 in a serving) were very tasty and the bao buns were good but there were two to share with 5 people. We all got a taste but it was a little odd. It came with maple mustard, which was a great accompaniment, even with the other dishes. For the entrees, the standout was the ceviche. It was a clever use of fruits and vegetables in lime juice that certainly mimicked its fish counterpart. The "pizza" was interesting as they made use of the rice as a crispy base. The other three rolls we got had some nice textures and flavors, so we were happy with them. The reason I rounded down on the stars were two things: the atmosphere and the overall price point, which was a little bit on the high side for what you get. Otherwise, it was a good experience, and I would encourage anyone to check it out. Try the vegan menu, it's unique and pretty good.
