We went here for lunch and it was really good. The lunch box special was amazing. I had sushi, two dumplings, and fried rice for $17. The sushi is very fresh and tasty. The service was great although there was only one other table being occupied. The food was prepared fairly quickly although I wouldn't say this is exactly a place you can eat at while on a lunch break. You are better off ordering carry out in that situation. I am a sushi lover and I also love Bao Buns, so when I saw them on the menu together I was excited! I ordered the shrimp bao bun & the Mango breeze roll. I tried the bao buns first, the buns weren't as soft as I'm use to, the shrimp inside was good though. I would say if the buns were a bit softer, they would have been a 10/10. The sushi was also different than I'm use to, it doesn't taste like your typical sushi, like it doesn't have the sushi taste if that makes sense but for a girl that was hungry, it hit the spot. The mango breeze roll wasn't a bad choice to be honest it just didn't taste like what you would expect from a traditional sushi joint. I'm sorry, I hate to write such a bad review but it honestly was the worst. $21 for the teriyaki, $20 for the roll. This was my first time here and first time at a sushi Latino fusion restaurant. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. All of the choices we were served were very tasteful. The fusions and combinations of sushi rolls or sashimi were well blended and nicely presented. The flavors worked well together. Unfortunately I don't remember all the names of the rolls we had but if you look at the pictures in the menu on their website you might be like me. I want to start with I have always had a great in house experience. Today was not the same experience. I decided to order uber eats today. I ordered the special tiger roll and truffle fries. The tiger roll had avocado that was brown. The truffle fries smelled like truffle but looked and tasted mainly like basic frozen fries, not very crispy and no added flair (maybe add some parmesan cheese or herb sprinkle next time?) definitely not worth the price for either item. [What did I do during class time though ...? ] I thought of Sushi. Then I browsed through the menu on their website and a made list with my friend. That way once we get there, we order right away hehe. Once my friend and I got there, we were greeted by a guy, who happened to end up being our waiter. He told us we could sit anywhere we liked. My friend and I found a seating across the Sushi bar. The lovely waiter asked, " can I get any of two drinks ?" and I said, "We would like to. start off with water, please" :) While the lovely waiter went to get water for us. I did some browsing around the place with my eyes. The restaurant is very cute and cozy inside. They had interesting lights hanging from the ceiling (in a cool way). Adorable wall full of planters. I accidentally stumbled upon Sushiato on Instagram and decided it would be a perfect spot for dinner with my sushi-loving best friend after scrolling through their photos. We were both so excited to go that we even wrote out a list of sushi rolls we intended to try (talk about excitement)! Upon entry, my friend and I were greeted promptly and informed that we could sit anywhere we liked. All tables appeared clean, were spaced 6-ft apart, and featured scannable menus. We opted for a larger 4-seater table because we expected to order quite a bit of sushi rolls - hehe! Taking a look around the venue, I noticed the restaurant's interesting artistic flare. Sculptures of cherries, insects, and ice cream cones were featured in various spots around the restaurant. Modern lights hung from the ceilings, and white beautifully blossomed orchids were perched by the sushi bar. After complimenting Suchiato's artistic decor, our waiter informed us that we could feel free to take a look around because all of their artwork is for sale! Our waiter was friendly and efficient. He kept a keen eye on our water glasses and even scrolled through Sushiato's physical menu to show my friend and me pictures and descriptions of Sushiato's most popular rolls, which we mentally noted for our next visit. We pulled out our list and proceeded to order their Sushiato Roll, Tom-su Special Roll (with krab), Salmon Deluxe Roll, and Ohana Roll. The service was quite quick, and we were brought our rolls 10-15 after ordering. While every roll was exquisite and worth it, my absolute favorite was their Salmon Deluxe Roll. For $16, I received 10 pieces of the most flavorful and addictive sushi roll I have ever tried. The taste of the krab melted in my mouth like butter. The onion dressing was a perfect complement to the krab salad and salmon in the roll. This roll was heavenly with or without soy sauce; I have never had a salmon roll as enjoyable as this one! I must have liked it a bit too much because I ended up eating 8 of the 10 pieces and left my friend only 2 (only because I felt I had to be generous - lol)! Although a bit pricy, the taste and quality of the rolls and the service were worth the experience! I also appreciate their abundance of riceless roll offerings - perfect high-protein rolls for those watching their carb intake! He was very attentive and helpful in selection recommendation. They have a picture book to help you pick something by seeing it in the book. He helped us pick two different rolls that were very good. He brought out a free teaser taste tester. Nice touch. You'll see me pointing to it in the photos. We also ordered the Rocket and the Miami. We can usually put some sushi away and these Two rolls were enough for two of us to share. All the while, Conner was checking on us and asking how we were doing. I've ordered takeout multiple times from this venue and I have never been disappointed on the quality, quantity, and taste of the sushi. This time I order the Adam's roll and OH MY GASH, it was delicious. Bursting with flavors, this roll has crunchy shrimp tempura, sweet crab, creamy avocado and cream cheese, wrapped in salmon, tuna or mixed, topped with a krab salad and wakame mix AND eel sauce. I know, it's a mouth full but so is this roll. Literally hit all your taste buds. Not only is it delicious, it's super filling. Will be ordering again. It's been a couple of years since we've been, we decided to give it another shot. We ordered 179.00 worth of take out last night. My husband got home with the order, it's my birthday, and we opened the bag... not one sushi roll had wasabi, or ginger. Not one. We had 7 differed rolls. Not one had a side of wasabi or a side of ginger. We also had a sushi pizza, and a tuna avocado tower. Nothing came with ginger or wasabi. I can understand maybe they miss one or two rolls.. but every single roll? And.... I'm sure my husband left a nice gratuity on top of that as well... And know restaurants make mistakes, but this is exactly why we stopped coming in the first place, it was constant mistakes. Always forgetting something, and us having to go back to get items, they should have someone making sure things like wasabi and ginger (sushi necessities) are in every bag.... The sushi isn't that spectacular that it's a must to come here and spend buku bucks on over priced sushi to get mediocre service and ok food. read more

I was VERY HAPPY with our delivery order this time the food had such a punch of flavor, it was all very neatly packaged & the restaurant even sent us over some complimentary Thai donuts as a thank you. My favorite thing was the fire balls you MUST order those as an appetizer and also the tuna pizza YUM! The rolls are very filling as they have many ingredients but they're original & have the best sauces I tried both mine & my bf's (although mine was better haha / speedy Gonzalez roll), the cousin itt a close second. We will definitely be ordering from here again. I was pleasantly surprised that they delivered to me in Miramar from Weston but I won't ask any questions. I just ordered chicken teriyaki. How bad could it be?? For $24 it was awful. For $5 I wouldn't have eaten it either. Obviously microwaved and prepackaged, the chicken was so salty, it was inedible. Avocado Tartar is on the top of my "must order" list. Fresh avocado you could tell from the color. Flavor was on point with enough ponzu sauce. Not too sour, not too light. Crispy shallot and red onion alsomake this dish so flavorful. Weston roll with shrimp temp, eel, and cream cream inside. Top with tuna, avocado, and seaweed salad. Good choice but nothing special or different from other sushi places. Maui roll was rock!!!! So delicious with spicy mayo, crab, and masago mixed inside. Awesome little place tucked away in Weston. My daughter had been talking about this place so I figured we'd check it out. It was a pleasant surprise to get good sushi in such a place. Kiddo got a California roll for her meal and I got the tiger roll. For the record: California roll Has nothing on a Tiger roll! I really liked the tiger roll. The missus got tropical tuna. This was really tasty and different. Since the place is an Asian/Latin fusion, it made sense with this little bite sized treat. Spicy tuna on top of a little tostone. Definitely the first time trying that and it was delish! So why the missing star? BEER! I'm a firm believer that no beer, in a strip plaza or most other places, should be $9. So, I'd say stick to water or a soda, but even sodas were $3-4... can't remember, and you're in for a treat taste and price wise. Toss in a beer or 3 and and yeah, it adds up. To be fair, they've got some imported beers so I'm sure that tax adds to the price but it'd be a lot better for $5/beer! read more

I have now tried almost every sushi roll on the menu and the flavor of each have exceeded my already high expectations. My favorite rolls: Brickell Roll, Galaxy Roll, Cousin Itt Roll, Adam Roll with Tuna, Speedy Gonzalez Roll, and the Carpe Diem Roll. The Carpe Diem Roll is a must. Sushiato salad, shrimp tempura and chorizo cream cheese wrapped in soybean paper with avocado, octopus, honey and sea salt. The contrast of flavors, sweet and savory, works incredibly well. The Sushiato Salad is another must. Spicy krab, tobiko, sesame seeds, scallions, and crunchy flakes with eel sauce on top. The flavor is unreal. The Oreo Tempura is decadent. They have weekly specials and lunch deals during the week. They also serve bao buns, poke bowls, noodles, fried rice, soup, crab croquettes, tartars, edamame, dumplings, and a few other unique appetizers. Service is exceptional. Packaging for takeout is done with finesse and care. Interior is decorated nicely and the atmosphere is pleasant. Sushiato hits on all marks for me.
