Was in the Weston area looking for a quick place to eat and stumbled upon Suri Sushi Thai. Nice small spot was immediately greeted by this nice waitress and was told could seat anywhere. Picked a booth by the wall. She came over offered recommendations right away. Started with some non spicy edamames. We ordered Kani Su Cucumber roll nice and refreshing. Pad Thai with chicken sweet and portion was more than enough for two. Last the chicken with lava sauce was really good as well and that was my favorite. Food came out fast and no issues with the orders. What impressed me the most was the vibe and amazing energy of our waitress. One of the better Thai Sushi restaurants around. They are a dime a dozen it seems but Siri Sushi Thai stands out above them all. Service was impeccable with our waitress as she was awesome. Came in on a Friday evening, around 7pm, and it wasn't too busy. Was able to get a table without a wait. Service was fantastic, everyone was very friendly and so attentive. Our food came out pretty quick, not a long wait at all. I got miso soup, sashimi appetizer, crispy bok choy , JB roll, and crab butter roll. Everything was delicious. The miso soup was tasty and warm. The crispy bok choy was flavorful and a great appetizer to start. The sashimi appetizer was the chefs choice and we ended up getting salmon, tuna, white fish, and albacore, all of which tasted fresh and not too fishy (the salmon was my favorite). The JB roll is my usual go-to roll, and this one was great. Finally, the crab butter roll was a new try for me and I'm glad I did because it was delicious, if you like imitation crab meat then i definitely recommend it. Came here for a quick lunch! I was very surprised by how fast everything came out and the quality of the food! The restaurant itself is very small, but nicely decorated. Our server was quick and came only when we needed him. We split three rolls between 2 people and it was enough food. I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant on Friday of last week. I have eaten here a few times before and I enjoyed my experience but not this one. My waiter came to the table to take my order and I was trying to order the same thing I had a few weeks prior. I wanted to order a lunch Thai chicken special with the sauce on the side. The waiter told me that this could absolutely not happen. I kindly asked him to ask the chef since I had ordered this a few times in the past. He stomped away and I could actually hear the waiter and the chef yelling at each other in the kitchen. The waiter return to my table and told me " we will do this for you today but never ever again! I entered this restaurant yesterday as soon as it opened in Weston for lunch. The air temperature in this restaurant felt like it was in the 60's. I stated that it was extremely cold in the restaurant and the only answer I got was that it is cold to keep the raw fish sushi cold. So, I immediately left the restaurant because the inside temperature of this restaurant was intolerable to sit and eat a meal. Maybe a health inspector should visit this restaurant to check the refrigeration and temperature of the sushi case. If they have to freeze out their customers in the restaurant to keep the sushi cold then there is something wrong. I popped in here for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The food here comes in large helpings and is hot off the pan. Delicious and flavorful, with so many menu options you can't go wrong. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Service is surprisingly quick! Bathrooms are well stocked and clean. It's very cozy inside the restaurant with ambient lighting. I hate to write negative reviews. Hate it! Friends of ours love Suri so we've gone twice now. The first time, the little restaurant was packed to the gills. Unfortunately, the food took over an hour to come, sushi was warm, and nothing tasted good. We thought, okay, an off day, we will try again. The next time we came, it was pretty empty but even still the service was extremely slow. Sushi was again warm. but the worst thing is that the tuna sashimi was bad. Not bad - Bad. Spoiled. We explained to the staff and they just shrugged - no apologies, no remove from the bill, no let us bring you some fresh - just a shrug. We will not be back. Weston is a haven for Asian restaurants with many Thai restaurants vying for customers. We feel that Suri Sushi Thai is an outstanding choice. Nestled in a nondescript storefront, it reminded of us of the places we ate in Bangkok- delicious food, friendly management and great value for the money. I'm a fan of Tam Yam soup and theirs was about the best I've tasted. Several others had the wonton soup which rivaled the best of any Asian restaurant. Some of us had Sushi rolls which were devoured with great pleasure, while my wife gave 2 thumbs up to her Pad Thai, prepared precisely to her taste. My red curry with chicken was spicy and fabulous. Portions were gigantic with lots to take home for a fond second dinner this week. Prices are reasonable for the quality of their offerings.The hostess/owner Suri is just wonderful. We'll be back! Came here on a weekday night, and eager to try it based on the positive reviews. My friend and I were on the fence between getting the Weston roll or the carnival roll. We asked for the owner's recommendation and she said the Weston roll was pretty popular. Also decided to share a Thai dish as well: green curry with beef. Weston roll: has salmon, tuna, avocado, mango, cream cheese, wrapped in rice and topped with scallop and rainbow tobika. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a variety of flavor in the tobika and not just appearance: the green roe was actually wasabi-flavored. Green curry with beef: love that there was a variety of veggies: in addition to the eggplant, green/red bell peppers, bamboo shoots described in the menu, there was also green beans. The curry itself was also sweet which I personally love as a sweet addition for a savory dish. Since I was there with a friend, I loved that we got to spend our time chatting without feeling rushed to leave. The place was still bustling for a weekday night but not to the point where it was overcrowded. Also the location is great since it's right next door to a gelato place if you want frozen desert. The owner was so sweet and was able to explain everything in the menu that we had questions about. She was even telling us how she made all the decor herself by hand--her energy into her small business is truly admirable. Glad I came by to try their food! Visited Siri Sushi Thai on a Thursday night. It was pretty empty, and we were immediately seated. We had money bags and crab bao buns(apps) and Pad See-Ew from the Thai menu, and then the chef sampler from the sushi menu. All the food was delicious. Authentic Thai flavor, and fresh fish on the side end. The service was incredible--you can tell the owners were the ones taking care of the customers, and it truly showed. Met with some friends who raved about this place... I understand why. The ambiance was perfect...warm, cozy and clean. Nestled in a small strip center and the very north end of Weston Road, is the authentic Thai restaurant. The menu was so extensive, it took time to make a decision.....but once we did, the service was excellent, the wait very short and worth waiting for. I order something very simple but it came out so fancy! The taste was already great but the presentation was even more over the top. Another nice thing about the sushi here that you can order something else that's not even on the menu! Thai food was delicious as well. I got Krapaw Moo Krob (crispy pork) and their crispy pork was my favorite, I can have it every meal! The service was GREAT! The owner is always at the restaurant and she is super friendly and kind. We went there two days in a row and both server that helping us were fantastic. The restaurant is nice and clean, it would be good for a small group but on the first day I was there, they were totally fine to host a group of 14ppl! Delicious, fresh, reasonably priced sushi in Weston. The Dynamite volcano roll is my favorite. The creamy fish mixture on top of the sushi is to die for! My second favorite is, of course, the shrimp tempera roll - you can't go wrong there. Their ramen is packed with veggies - and of course, well-priced.
