The go-to for to-go! I stumbled upon Jarams when I first moved to Dallas and was intrigued by their array of donut flavors! They have everything from the classics to the creative, and every single one is made fresh daily. I personally like the berries & cream and crème brûlée donuts the best, but have not yet found one I dislike from Jarams! The staff is friendly as well and there are seating options available, but it is definitely more well fitted for to-go purposes. Any donut lover should have Jaram's on their list of must try bakeries!

Always enjoy coming here for freshly made donuts in the morning! There's always a great variety to choose from

Such a little cute local donut shop in the neighborhood! I ended up stopping by and wasn't really hungry so I got a cinnamon cruller donut. This shop offers kolaches, donuts, crullers, donut holes and specialty donuts. I'll definitely be back to try something (not so basic) haha and earlier as I'm sure there's so much other flavors that weren't pictured.

Jarams has a mix of contemporary and traditional donuts with more donuts being traditional. Many reviews sited the cream brulee as a fav. There is no dedicated parking area, so I ended up parking across the street at Whole Foods and walking over. Despite the numerous good reviews, I have to admit I didn't like these donuts. I was not fond of the glaze or the dough flavor and lack of slight sweetness. The cream brulee had a burnt bitter taste to it that was not wonderful. The glazed, cake, and buttermilk donuts were below average. I've had great donuts in the Dallas area and there would be no need for me to return here.

    Beautifully decorated donut!!

Finally in the right place at the right time! I kept passing by this artisanal donut shop during closed hours! Today I finally was able to go in and get some delicious donuts! They are so beautiful! And different flavors.. I love berries so of course I got the one with all the berries atop! The donuts are soft, fluffy and hold their shape! The berries were super fresh and the frosting complimented the flavor (not too much and not too sweet!). They have cronuts too! I aim to get one of them next time!

Jarams Donuts is a cool little donut shop in Lakewood with tasty gourmet donuts and friendly service!

One word... CRONUT !!! Yes they serve this elusive delicacy. The sinful Union of a croissant and a donut is truly a delight to eat. Their large kolache goes down easy too.

I'm not sure if it's me turning 30, quarantine life, or just desperate needs for comfort food but I have been on a donut shopping spree for a few weeks now! I never had a sugar tooth...until now. A small tear built up in the corner of my eye when I found out there was a donut spot that served CRONUTS (croissant donuts) a couple of miles from my place. The very first time I tried this magical invention was when I lived in Barcelona in 2015. I've missed the taste of the crispy layered donut ever since I moved back. I was never actively searching for cronut spots near me, but every now and then I'd remember how much I loved them. Jaram's is 5 stars!! They have an incredible selection of donuts, cronuts, cronut holes, croissant-kolaches (OMG), jalapeño filled kolaches, ice cream filled donuts and so much more. They even cater for weddings! What a cute concept. And what a sweet and patient woman that greeted us as soon as we walked in and explained each of the different flavors they offered. Wish I got her name. Listen to me, they even have a COOKIE BUTTER FUNNEL CAKE. I cannot. Great donut shop in Lakewood. Can't wait to take my friends here.

Known for Donut Messages and Funnel Donuts served out of a North Dallas Strip Mall since 2012 it was not until late-2018 that Jarams opened its doors in Lakewood, but ever since that time the small shop has been selling-out by noon thanks to quality Ingredients and creativity. Located at 2117 Abrams Road, limited parking a minor inconvenience at the former Dry Cleaner, it is upon entry that guests are greeted by brightly-lit cases featuring everything from "Average Joe" options to $6.48 specials. Painted purple and yellow, prices a guess until at the register, it was in exchange for $19.54 that five were taken elsewhere to eat, first bites of Blueberry Cake lighter than many despite plenty of Fruit flavor while the Old Fashioned described as a Chocolate Glazed Buttermilk Donut found an otherwise enjoyable cogwheel compromised by its artificially flavored topping. Getting creative with $3.99 Crème Brulee, a carefully piped Ring with crackling sugar and subtle bitterness, Funnel Cake Donuts fortunately justify premium pricing thanks to both size and consistency that is lighter than Cake but more dense than yeasted whether rolled in Spiced Sugar or sandwiching Honey-soaked Apples with sliced Almonds on top.

The first thing I noticed was how beautiful everything is. The décor is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. And yes...those are real trees. That actually matters to me. I love restaurants with a beautiful aesthetic because it makes the whole experience feel special. Good food is wonderful, but good food in a beautiful space? That's even better. The menu is perfect if you're dining with friends because there are so many things to share. We ordered the traditional sampler, and it was such a fun way to try several Guatemalan dishes. Every plate that came out looked fresh, colorful, and made with care. The cheese pupusa was delicious, and the cotija cheese was the perfect finishing touch. Then there were the plantains. I actually stopped our server to ask, "Do y'all make the plantains from scratch?" They do. And it shows. They were fresh, perfectly cooked, and so good that I kept reaching for another one. Honestly, they may have been my favorite thing on the table. The steak was cooked exactly medium, had a great char, and was full of flavor. Portions were generous across the board, which is always a win because leftovers are basically tomorrow's gift to yourself. The spinach artichoke dip surprised me. If you're someone who genuinely loves spinach, you'll probably be very happy because spinach definitely got top billing in that relationship. It tasted incredibly fresh, and it made me realize I apparently prefer my artichokes to be just a little more competitive. The service was warm and welcoming all evening. I ordered a red sangria that never quite found its way to the table, but honestly, by the end of the meal I was so full that my stomach had already voted "maybe next time." One of my favorite parts of the evening was learning more about San Martín's history. Knowing it began in Guatemala and is especially known for its bakery and breakfast immediately put breakfast on my "I need to come back for this" list. By the end of the meal, we were full, happy, and already talking about what we'd order next time. That's usually the sign of a restaurant I'll happily recommend. Beautiful atmosphere. Fresh food. Generous portions. Outstanding plantains. I'd give San Martín a solid 9 out of 10, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

And while we weren't planning to do much, the experience was still a 10/10! I ended up ordering a White Chocolate latte and it was AMAZING! You can tell they actually put time and effort into their coffee and lattes! Everything is also brewed fresh! Which I love! My friend ordered a artesian hot chocolate and wow! It was probably some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It was def made with real cocoa! We did end up splurging on some pastries, because DUH! It's it so hard to ignore the bakery section when it is so stunning and filled with beautiful baked goods! I got a oreo croissant and tortuga concha! I did not eat them (My bf did) but they looked so great! I did try my friends banana custard filled bread and that was great! I would go back for it! Overall, we ended up sitting inside of their beautiful space for hours, just talking and catching up! It was amazing and comfy! We def want to return for some of their dinner and drink specials too! Highly recommend!

I started with the croque monsieur, and it was exactly what I was craving. The cheese was perfectly melted and bubbly, and that hint of dill on top really pulled it all together. For dessert, the chocolate kouign-amann was a total standout, super crispy on the outside with those rich, sweet layers inside. I paired it with an iced chai latte, which was perfectly spiced and not overly sweet. They have a small outdoor seating section that is perfect for catching some fresh air while you eat. SHOUT-OUT TO KRYSTAL!…read more My sister-in-law celebrated her 60th birthday today with a surprise party, and we had about 40 family members attend! We all arrived between 12:30-12:45, and the party started at 1:00. I have to take a moment to give credit where credit is SERIOUSLY due! Our waitress, Krystal, was absolutely AMAZING. And when I say she was doing EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING! She was the only person serving us, while also having two other tables outside of our banquet room. Yes, our food took a while to come out -- but that was absolutely NOT Krystal's fault. She was working her butt off and doing everything she possibly could. She was attentive, constantly checking on our drinks, making sure everyone was taken care of, and paying attention to every little detail. It wasn't until toward the end of the party that I realized she had been handling this entire situation ALL BY HERSELF. She told me that the banquet hadn't even been put on the manager's calendar, so she basically got thrown into a party of 40 people at the last minute. And let me tell you something, KRYSTAL ROCKED THAT SH*T! Krystal, thank you so much for everything you did for my family today. You were kind, attentive, professional, and you never made us feel like we were a burden, even though you had been handed one hell of a situation. I personally hate Red Lobster and I don't even eat seafood, BUT my family will absolutely be coming back -- and I hope they come back specifically to see YOU! You did an incredible job, and I hope your management knows how valuable you are. KRYSTAL, YOU ARE AMAZING! Thank you for taking such great care of my family today! YAY KRYSTAL! YOU GO GIRL!
