This is our go to dinner spot! No matter how packed the parking lot is, being seated at a table is always immediate. The staff has been running this restaurant forever & are complete pros. We don't need menus & the servers know our names, order, & substitutions. Jardin's is our home away from home. Thank you for always being a strong staple in our diet!

Oh Jardin Del Rey. My once go to spot has disappointed me and the family. My Mexican Martini was not up to par, very watered down. The food has lost its authenticity. The chips are still served warm. The staff is amazing. Prices have increased, but the quality has decreased. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere has remained the same.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really tried to give it one more try since my last two visits were sub par. Leander has grown and too many other choices.

Outside, you can almost drive right by it, covered with trees. Love This Place

Our 4th time visiting Jardin and it was fabulous. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was perfect, felt like I was in somebody's home[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], waiter was very attentive on refilling our chips and salsa and he was very friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect tejano music playing over the speakers just adding to the vibes, it's that kind of music that you hear and it makes you crave Mexican food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Perfection. The chips were freshly fried and crisp and the salsa was just perfect, a little sweet, a little spicy, just right to keep you coming back for more. The tostada con queso, and fajita nachos were just classic and the fajita beef, enchilada, taco and beans and rice, just what the doctor ordered. There is no way I wouldn't give this place a 5 star review and come back every single time I am in the area, regardless of what other restaurants are in the area. A+ all around guys! Great work!!! Keep it up, I know you will!

Not sure why the bad reviews but I honestly loved this place. I love real Tex-mex, and this is it. This isn't your fancy Mexican food. Love the queso, i like the milder salsa, loved the chips. My dinner came out hot and crispy. Server was super attentive and always had drinks filled and fast delivery of food. Very nice guy too. Feels like you are visiting someone at their house, cozy little place. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. I would say it needs to be cleaned (ac vents) a little but over all love this place. Will be back!

When we lived in Leander 10+ years ago, this was our favorite Mexican restaurant. We were in town visiting friends and decided to check it out to see if the food tastes the same. We're so glad we did because it did not disappoint. The outside and interior don't look like much but the food is what matters. My hubby even recognized a server still working there after all these years. We received our complimentary chips and salsa and ordered queso + house margaritas to go along. Salsa had a good kick to it (as I remembered) and the queso was smooth & creamy. House margaritas were potent. Lol. I ordered my go-to sour cream chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans and hubby ordered carne asada. The food came out fast and was seasoned to perfection. We sat there for a while caught up in nostalgia. So glad this place is still around and pumping out great food. We'll definitely make plans to return whenever we're in the Austin area.

Oh my goodness...one more update...I ordered 40 breakfast tacos for a party, and they were PERFECT. Exactly what I ordered, labeled in separate bags. AND they threw in chips and salsa, salt & pepper, napkins...and even offered me coffee while waiting to pick up!!! (Although it was ready right on time)... It's just so refreshing to have good service these days...and amazing food! I'm grateful.

    Goodnight S.

Second time here, it's so addictive for Mexican food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior looks amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Awesome waiter and great food, as always. We are definitely coming back in December.

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. I believe it is owned by the same people who own The Mill bar right next door, which makes it feel like a cool bonus space. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. It's definitely a neighborhood bar, but with a slightly elevated vibe that makes you feel like you stumbled into the nice version of a local hangout, not the sticky‑floor kind. I ordered three rounds of Hendrick's and tonic, and my partner went with four rounds of Tito's and Sprite. When the bill came out to $140, I had to take a quiet moment with myself. Yes, Hendrick's is top shelf, but even with that in mind... whew. That total felt a little ambitious for a neighborhood bar in Cedar Park. I'm all for a good cocktail, but I also know what these pours cost elsewhere, and this pricing didn't quite match the setting. That said, the service was excellent. Our bartender was attentive, quick, and had that perfect balance of friendly without being overly chatty. She kept an eye on the bar, and we never had to wait long for a refill -- which I appreciated, especially since the place wasn't packed. Honestly, the smooth service was the highlight of the night. The vibe itself is cool -- a little eclectic, a little upscale, and clearly a favorite for the local crowd. It's the kind of place you go when you want to unwind without dealing with the Domain crowd or the chaos of downtown Austin. I can absolutely see why people love it. But between the drink prices and the overall experience, this is one of those spots I'd visit occasionally, not regularly. A cute neighborhood bar? Yes. A $140‑for‑seven‑drinks bar? Not for me.

The majority of the property is covered by an expansive patio area, perfect for groups. They have a number of large tables, small tables and even chaise lounge chairs - whatever makes you comfortable! We arrived later in the night just as the live band was wrapping up but there were many of people out back watching the World Cup game. In terms of drinks, I got the skinny rabbit margarita and it was fantastic. It far exceeded my (admittedly, low) expectations. It had a mint accent which was delicious, and combined with a tajin rim, the perfect summer drink. Don't worry, if you don't like mint, they will happily leave it out. My friends got an espresso martini, customized without baileys or dairy, and enjoyed it for a bar that doesn't seem like they would even have espresso martinis. One odd note that I did notice is that the handwashing sink for the restrooms is outside of the restroom and around the corner both inside and outside. At first I thought that they did not have handwashing sinks and was confused but noticed them once I left. Hopefully people remember to do this when they leave!!
