I rarely take the time to review places even if I really like it. But this place I would personally appreciate people trying it out. So they will always be here now that I discovered it. It's my first time ordering from here. Breakfast tacos are my favorite food. First thing that impressed me that they serve breakfast all day. Which is rare to find but I'm great full because I work over night and wake up later afternoon. The restaurant was clean and very comfortable aesthetic, staff were welcoming. I got the Migas plate. At first was sad I couldn't add tortillas online, but don't you worry it already came with them and the green sauce was in the bag without having to ask! The green sauce can give toco deli a run for their money for sure. What I enjoy more than taco deli was it wasn't too spicy where I'm dying eating it but keep going bc it's tasty. This place has the perfect amount of heat and great flavor. I usually find my disappointed most times when ordering chips from places never seems to meet my personal expectation. I expected the same from this place but had to try in hopes. I was pleasantly surprised.These chips are the real authentic deal, homemade right amount of salt, great taste. They nailed it for sure. The taco it self was absolutely delicious. I was not expecting to be so overly satisfied. 10/10 would recommend. It's priced at 16$ or something like that but I'd pay 20+ if that's what was listed because it's well worth it. Some places just charge high because of inflation not because of quality but I think it's the opposite here you get what you pay for and more. Best 16 bucks I could spend on a meal. Check them out! This review is for the breakfast tacos we've ordered for take out a couple of times. Really nice. We get the bacon, egg, cheese, bean, and avocado on flour tortilla. I need to remember to go for three instead of two next time. Also, they had that delicious creamy, spicy emulsified jalapeno salsa verde. We went there yesterday. The food has always been good. This time everything was substandard. My tacos had a barely any meat or vegetables. The Charro beans tasted funny. They had no hot Salsa. The Taco chips they brought us were skimpy. My husband's enchiladas had little meat and were flavorless. Things have really changed at our favorite little Mexican place. My wife and I have been going, daily,for years. We have seen a LOT of good changes! They serve truly authentic Mexican food using recipes from Mexico. The staff are bilingual, especially since a large percentage of the clientele is Hispanic. City and state law enforcement and government workers come there for lunch, so you have to know the food is great at reasonable prices. We think they have the best Mexican food in Georgetown. It is a little house and not the easiest to get to,but it is definitely worth it. They are now open until 5:00 every day and serve breakfast all day long. My friend and I have gone to Sierra's for years and the food has been very authentic. Unfortunately, yesterday proved to be an end to an era. We sat at our table and it took a while for the server to bring our menus. First, the menus were a fraction of what they used to be. They were loaded with mouth-watering options. This menu was nothing compared to the previous one. I asked for water with lime and when she finally delivered, the lime was so dry that there was no juice and she had to bring me more. No biggie. We ordered our food, mine being the chicken mole which has always been the best I have ever eaten. After waiting 30 minutes for our food, I finally went and asked the cashier about it and she said it was coming. Then a man came to our table and asked what the problem was and we told him the food had never taken this long and he said it was coming and to be patient. Rude! When it did come, my friend's food was cold, my chicken had been sitting so long that it was hard and the mole was really sweet. We tried eating the food but it was too awful. Backing up a bit, we asked the server if the restaurant was under new ownership and she said yes. When we went to pay the $29 bill, we were asked how everything was and we told her it was horrible. The same gentleman came and asked us what the problem was and we asked him if ownership had changed hands and he said it hadn't. However, records do show Sierra's sold in October 2023. Sorry to say that it's not the great place of yesteryear. I wish them the best, but we won't ever go back. read more

Ok good, horrible service and the worst business practices. Stopped in on our way through the area based on Google reviews that are better than Yelp!. Had I seen the Yelp! review about a cockroach in addition to the fairly poor ratings we would have passed. On to my story... Ordered Individual Fajitas Mexicana and a salad for a total of $24.87. Fajitas 15.99, salad 2.00 - so how did we get to almost $25? They charge $2 for chip refills. They initially bring you about 25 chips. Very shallow plastic basket and the height of the chips doesn't break the surface level. It was emptied at one point and the waitress ASKED if we wanted more. We said Yes. She did not say anything about a cost. She brought a basket like the first that I assure you had no more than 25 chips in it again. When we cashed out I asked the waitress/cashier about the $2 charge she keyed in and she said it was for the chip refill. I said the waitress didn't, but should have, said there was a charge The cashier/waitress said it was in the menu. I asked her to show that to me, she fumbled around in the menu set it back down and said "it's in there". I told her again to show me. She opened it to the freakin Soups section and pointed to the bottom of the list where in print smaller than anywhere else on the menu it says something like "Chips - First is free, Refills $2.00". I said that was very poor business practice. She could only repeat that it was in the menu. Then there's a $1 for getting corn tortillas with the fajitas. Waitress said nothing about additional cost when she ASKED if we wanted corn tortillas or just flour. Finally there was $2 for the salad. To call it a salad is diminish the standing of salads across the globe. It was about 3/4 cup of shredded lettuce on a very small plate with about a tablespoon of chopped tomatoes. Oh! About the fajitas. Meat was good. The side of cheese, lettuce and guacamole was embarrassing for them. The lettuce was clearly laid down first and across the entire end of the plate then the cheese and guacamole were added on top to it appeared there were sizable piles of both. Not so. Not quite a tablespoon of either. Nickel and dining is there business practice, not telling you the cost of items they ask you if you want is bad practice and reason to stay away. We won't be back even if we find ourselves in the area again. read more

Had lunch here for the first and last time today. We sat down and before we could open our menu the server asked what we wanted. Asked for a few minutes but he returned about 40 seconds later to ask again, but we were still not ready, asked for another minute and he returned about 30 seconds later, so we just ordered tacos. I went to eat lunch for the first time, we decided to give it a try since all the places we went there was a long wait. Never coming back again, it really look like a nice place. The food was cold when we received it and the service was not attentive I worked at a restaurant before and I understand when its busy, but to wait over 45 minutes for cold food is upsetting. we really didn't know who was our server or waitress there was multiple people bringing our order. Looks like a small mom and pop shop! Great food, fast service, not too crowded and great menu options.

Don't get me wrong the food was beyond incredible, but their were a few low points that ruined my eating experience slightly. The place was small with a ton of tables jam-packed to the point the back of your seat would hit the person eating behind you every time you got up. The place had no AC and it was super hot and humid which was made worse with a packed house and a brightly lit dining area with a ton of lights focused on you. The chips were obviously store bought and from a bag, which isn't a big deal I suppose but freshly made in house chips should be the norm at all Mexican eataries in my opinion. Not only that but they weren't particularly good. The salsa was super watery and runny, felt like a tomato soup with tiny chopped up onions. And it was so flavorless and had absolutely no spice. Might as well have dipped my chips in water, would've made no difference honestly, that's how flavorless it was. Also it seems there was only one waitress working the floor and it was a packed house. Our food came out reletively fast but it took the waitress awhile to get our drinks and refills. Other than that she was quite friendly, so A for effort. Now on to the good. They had some of the best Mexican breakfast menu I've ever seen. I had the chilaquiles. Basically they're corn chips doused in a green tomato and Chile sause which in turn softens the hard corn chips. They were so good and reminded me of the chilaquiles my grandmother used to make when I was a kid. Definately a 10/10. A bit in the crunchy side(they're supposed to be soft) but good nonetheless. My father had a Chile relleno which was ok not the best but no complaints. The rest our party had huevos rancheros, huevos machacada, carne asada, and a carne guisada plate. I didn't get to try those but they all swore up and down that it was some of the best food they ever had. It all looked good to be honest. Overall an ok experience. The great food can't save this place for me to go back. Not until they fix the AC at least. It's no fun when you're eating in a claustraphobic packed restaurant that feels like a sauna. read more

Good reviews on Yelp forced us to try this place...because of all the raves, we're thinking they are absolutely correct. The lunch special two enchilada plate with rice and beans and the mixed fajita plate were winners, great enchiladas and tender flavorful beef and pollo. The chips were crisp and the salsa had a little sneaky bite and tasted fresh made. The waitress that waited on us did an exemplary job, great service and very friendly, will definitely be back for more tasty goodies for prices that are real easy on the wallet.
