My Fiancé and I went to the Jared location in Carle Place this past weekend. I had the pleasure of working with Raj and I must say his professionalism was great. I walked in and somewhat interrupted what he was working on, but he did not skip a beat. He was right there eager to help and answered all our questions. Purchased a diamond ring with an extended warranty. Side stones started to fall out. Covered by the warranty right? No. You see they neglected to tell me that you've got to have an inspection EVERY 6 months or you're not covered. So, extra money for them. Too bad for you. Shop elsewhere!!! read more

I came to the store to look at wedding bands with my fiancé. We are a same sex interracial couple and were ignored the entire time. There were other customers in the store and no one stopped to tell us they will be with us in a minute or even greeted us. As a chain establishment I would definitely expect better service and we were truly disappointed. There is clearly a disregard for the LGBT community. We will not return to this Jared or any in the chain. Sad that this was our first experience. read more

Was told to come in on Saturday and can wait. Arrived they said ring had to be left could not wait. Understandable, it was busy. Made appointment for 7PM Monday. Went back Monday and was told they don't do that on Mondays, the person that made the apt wasn't aware. That is 2 trips now. Lets see what happens on round 3 Saturday. I don't like to complain but all we needed was a simple phone call "hey don't bother driving here, we don't do that on Mondays, we need to train our people better to know what we do on what days." Maria the manager and Gregory the salesman really did make my engagement ring purchase pleasant. I decided to utilize their layaway program. Gregory was the salesman for my brother in law too a few years ago, who came all the way from Italy to make his purchase and really did make the experience easy. Now as you can imagine, most of the time you expect to go over budget but not with them. They understood that I am a full time student and work full time as well. They educated me on the quality of loose diamonds to help me decide what I wanted for the set I chose by Vera Wang. They were very friendly and I felt like I wasn't just another sale. They were a part of the whole experience of purchasing the perfect ring. They truly went above and beyond for me and for that, they have a life time customer. I even ended up being under budget which made things even better. Now when I pop the big question in August at Lake Como in Italy, I feel so happy and accomplished. Today, 8/13/17 I visited the Carle Place NY store to have my (men's) bracket adjusted to my size. I walked in the store and noticed the sale associates were busy with customers so I asked a lady at what appeared to be a sales ticket counter how I go about having something serviced. She said someone would be with me shortly. I sat on a stool in front of the service/repair window for almost 30 minutes waiting for someone to at least acknowledge me and let me know someone will be with me shortly. Numerous times I witnessed (2) male salesmen peek up at me and make eye contact as I realized they were almost finished with what they were doing. At the same time, I watched new customers walk in every 10 minutes or so. Time after time I watched your sale force, finish with someone, dodge me at the service area as they stayed away and wondered over to where new customers were standing, of course in front of jewelry counters. It was very obvious that the commision based sales team had NO interest in taking the time to help me with my inexpensive service needs, instead looking for a sale. I wasted 30 minutes of my Sunday sitting there like a fool because, for these reasons, 1- there's no system in place so that the next customer is served, 2- Jared (corporation) puts in place a structure that allows such unfair and biased behavior that makes customers like me less important. Jareds sale team judged me by what they thought was a price point / commission amount and chose to ignore me. This is absolutely disgraceful that a customer of Jared is treated like this. My time and money will never be spent at a Jared store again. I intend to post this on every social media extension I can so that others like myself don't have to be subjected to this type of Corp behavior. I'm sorry I wasted my money on a bracket that I can't even wear because it's to big and I can't get it serviced. I suggest anyone looking to invest in a piece of jewelry they do so else where. read more

I came here to purchase a ring that I saw online. First off, let me state that I am you get black man. I was dressed just like anyone else. In casual clothes nothing crazy. The security Hurd opened the door for me. But then I found it odd that he would come inside right behind me after greeting customers. But whatever. The red headed woman was helping a customer but took the time to ask me if I needed help. I told her yes. She told the tall grey haired gentleman that I needed help. He replied that he was on break. She reminded him that I was first. Afterwards 5 more people/couples came in and went to the waiting area. The tall grey haired man who had just been told that I was first, looked at me and walked right past me to go help the others. To top it off, the short bald headed man just looked at me and acted as though he couldn't speak. I've never felt uncomfortable with being in a chain store until now. I am completely disappointed by the level of service by those two gentleman. The red headed woman acknowledged that the tall grey haired man skipped me. Finally I was helped by Mike. If not for the for the fact that this was a gift, I would have left !!! read more
