    We have bought several appliances from PC Richard (stove, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine) and…read morenever had a problem with installation until the dryer we recently ordered was delivered earlier this week. The installation crew was sub contracted out and not very experienced. They needed to disconnect the washing machine, which was installed by PC Richard about 2 years ago but failed to shut off the water valve first, and then told my husband that the tubing was old and leaking (which it was not). When they put the washing machine back in place, they couldn't get it back to its original position. When my husband inquired about making sure that a connector was installed on the back of the dryer (to ensure that there was no friction on the wires caused by a vibrating dryer) they had no idea what he was talking about. On top of that, they were not fluent in the English language. I contacted our salesman, who arranged for a team to return to the home, which they did the next morning and they were clearly PC Richard employees (arriving in a PC Richard truck, with PC Richard shirts). It took them less than 5 minutes to install the connector and move the washer back to the correct position. When purchasing appliances from PC Richard that need to be installed, do whatever you can to make sure that PC Richard employees, rather than subcontractors, deliver and install. This review would have been more stars, had it not been for the first installation crew.

When confronted, Sal a store manager, said foam is all you need to seal a window unit properly. That was a lie. When I confronted him, he hung up the phone. Got very little support from GG at Corporate headquarters as well. Had to call back because she didn't send a confirmation email regarding a potential refund. And when I did, there was no record of the refunds at all. Also, Sheldon, the general manager at the Levittown store, did not apologize for any of it. Instead he suggested I made up the entire story. And when I told him about the caulk all over my window, he wanted me to pay for another installation crew to come back, saying they'd clean up the caulk, but if I wanted it sealed properly, I'd have to pay additional for the plexiglass service. He wouldn't even consider giving a courtesy considering all the problems his employees caused. Believe me, don't believe me, pictures are worth a thousand words. Run, don't walk from this place!!

    This is the worst appliance repair co. I have ever used. Just to come see the problem they charge u…read more$120. Then they upcharged astronomically for a refrigerator part. I looked on Amazon and it ranged from $14 - 29. They charged me 386 total ($165 for part). Didn't fix the problem. My fridge never got cold enough for food safe. He had to come back two more times. Second time refrigerator just stopped working and I lost everything in my freezer. He tried to say it was my outlets and call my electrician. I did and he charged me $50 for the visit to tell me that the gfi outlets were perfect, and that they clicked off every time I was plugging in only the fridge. The fridge was shot. Called to tell John this and his receptionist said he would give me half of the money back. I thought that was a horrible deal, because now i am out a ton of money and food and need a new fridge but I agreed. She says his wife writes the checks. It took her almost one month to send me a check. I called 3x a week to ask where it was! Always got the run around no one ever calls me back when they say they will! When I received the check it was only for $165 for the part , not the $193 which would be half back like I was promised. Now I am calling daily to see where the rest of the money is. Getting the same run around and no response or call back. This is a horrible unprofessional company who upcharges for parts because they know that people will do it because they don't want to be stuck with the $120 charge if you don't go ahead with they're service. I am still dealing with this in august and they came beginning of June! Once they have the money they don't care. But they say they guarantee they're work ! My fridge was garbage and is long gone. And I have $221 + the $50 charge from my electrician less to spend on a new fridge!!! Beware!! Use a different company!!
