I've lived in this area for years now and I can't believe it's taken me this long to finally try this place! So many options on their menu from traditional Chinese dishes to Vermicelli bowls, Pho, Thai dishes and curry, and sooooo many boba smoothie options. I decided to try it when I was looking for Yang Chow friend rice and this place popped up. Placed my order on the phone for pick up and drove over and man they were busy with so many delivery (3rd party) orders. But they were extremely efficient and fast. I got there pretty quick so my order wasn't ready yet, but I watched the process they were really friendly with everyone and got ppl in and out. There was also ppl their dining in that were enjoying their food. The space is a decent size about 8-10 table for dine in, casual spot. Yang Chow fried rice 4/5 stars - great size portion and lots of shrimp. Flavors were delicious but the rice was a bit mushy. You could tell the rice was just made and didn't have time to settle before they made it into fried rice. Orange chicken 3/5 stars - good size portion Sauce had good flavor but wasn't 'saucy' kinda clumpy the chicken (breast meat) could've been crispier. Jasmin Express is an Asian, boba, and tea restaurant located in North Las Vegas. It's very casual and you order and pay at the counter. They have a few tables for dining in. I tried the Szechuan chicken. The chicken was cooked nicely and it came with nice fresh vegetables. The sauce was spicy from red pepper flakes but was on the flat side and tasted like thickened soy sauce and was very salty for me. Love this little gem! Great service and fast! I love coming here! It's never crowded and the gentlemen are always so friendly. It's in a shopping center next to a smoke shop I like that the menu is so diverse. My bf always gets the pho. This time he got some secret, wink wink, nudge nudge menu item. I think it was called Tom ka pho. It had the usual stuff in pho plus mushrooms, tomatoes, shrimp, chicken. Looked and smelled wonderful. Had a very good citrus flavor to it. You did not need to add any lime! Myself I had the Penang curry. I love this curry! It has bamboo, green beans, choice of meat and heat level choices. If you don't select any heat level it's not spicy at all. I selected level 4 out of 10 which gave it a nice little kick for me. We normally order the Rare Beef Pho, it comes with all the fixings and 98% of the time they are perfect. There's been a few hit and misses on some ingredients but they are always friendly and professional when fixing the mistake. Used to order takeout from this place when I was in high school yeaaaarsss ago and completely forgot about it when I moved to the other side of town. Jasmine Express has an expansive menu that features many Asian dishes. In addition, they also have a boba menu that is bigger than some of the big time boba places in Vegas. Came in on a Wednesday night for some pho, there is a bunch of seating and the tables were clean and ready for customers. We were served right away and didn't wait too long for our food. The combo pho is on the same level as Pho Kim Long/ Pho Saigon 8 EASILY. They pack in so much meat, noodles, and veggies into a bowl full of hot, delicious broth. This is our go-to Chinese restaurant around the area. First off AJ is such a lovely bubbly server that will definitely make you feel welcomed. Unfortunately, two days ago was her last day. She's leaving to pursue higher education. Good for her. The place is clean and the noise is average. We come here at least twice a month. The food is very delicious and portioned appropriately. When you order anything breaded such as sweet and sour pork, the meat is visible. There's more meat than bread and that is an indication of quality cooking for me. This place has a busy takeout line. Limited seating due to covid. They play super upbeat music which could be energizing or annoying. I placed a to go order for the combo vermicelli with shrimp and pork and 2 egg rolls. It was a long wait for a to go order - 35 minutes. Was it worth it? Not to me. It was a lot of food. Taste was ok. But I don't need to go back to try more. What I didn't like is that the bathroom was gross. No toilet seat covers. No paper towels. When he gave us the menu he left and went straight on to his phone by the register it took maybe 15mins till he came to ask us what we wanted. I didn't mind waiting thought cause there crew was only two people working. Other then the service the food was on time and very good. The combination pho was great it had big pieces of meat and a lot of it. It's a bit of a wait but well worth it! Tamarind-Pineapple, not really so unusual; don't be fooled, think sweet and sour in a broth. I'm a long-time fan of vegetable soups and this one is right up there with the best; although this one is fruitier than most with sliced pineapple, tomato, and okra and tamarind flavor. I would of givin a 4 star but i ordered the food at 7pm and didnt get my food until 820pm. They also didnt have enough staff to cover the front for customers to eat in the restaurant or ordering to go food. They also had quite a few orders from Doordash and other deliveries. The wait took forever we order the chicken yellow curry which was very watery, lacking flavor and even the potatoes weren't fully cooked. Peppered beef lacked flavor most of the beef pieces were to chewy was like chewing gum and could never swallow. Orange chicken was again super bland no flavor and the chicken was dry.
