    Orange Chicken

Great, delicious, and slightly spicy orange chicken! Pretty crispy. Friendly staff. I didn't get to my orange chicken until an hour after I picked it up and it was still crispy. I'll come back soon!

Asian Wok is a casual-not fancy restaurant that offers American/Chinese dishes and some Thai Dishes. You order and pay at the counter. Inside are mostly booths. Most meals come out in take out containers. They also start you off with complimentary fried crispy noodles with duck sauce. I am so happy to announce that this is the first and only American/Chinese restaurant that I've found in Las Vegas that makes East Coast Style Szechuan Chicken. It's full of all the flavors here and isn't that sweet flat Nevada style that every other similar place serves. Here the Szechuan Chicken is also packed with very nice vegetables (just like East Coast) snow peas, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, onions, bell peppers, water chestnuts, and bamboo shoots. The chicken was moist and tender. This was also a generous portion and the price was reasonable. My husband enjoyed the black pepper beef and it was made with tender beef too. The woman who was the cashier and food runner checked on us often. This isn't a fancy place and I don't feel the need to deduct a star for atmosphere since the food was that very rare very good. I'm so happy that I finally found a place that makes very good Szechuan Chicken.

2 vegetable egg rolls, sweet and sour dipping sauce, crunchy chips.

I happen to be in this neck of the woods and I read some good reviews. So I put the address in my GPS. This place I must say is a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. The parking was plentiful. I was greeted quickly. I ordered 2 Egg vegetable egg rolls. Along came sweet and sour dipping sauce and crunchy straw chips. I was so surprised, the quality and taste was exceptionally good. When I return to this area I'll stop in and order a meal. The restaurant is very small, cozy, lots of booths and tables. They are open Christmas day! I saw lots of orders being prepared for take out. I'm very happy I took a chance to come here.

City wonton soup...if you know, you know.

What in the what!?!? I always look forward to a good Chinese meal on Christmas eve and they took an hour to make it, even though they weren't busy. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE. Then they tell me that my NY chow mein accidentally was made as chop suey instead. When the gentleman and the front asked if I would like to replace it, I said yes. He then goes to the back to tell the female cook who then goes off on him. Nothing was fixed. Before hand, and the "noodles" for the chop sue? Is just f****** wonton chips. Nothing has any flavor as of it was meant to be a buffet for trash pandas., the prices are too high, and I'm starting to wonder if this is why I see so many pets go missing in the neighborhood.... maybe that's the lure for the raccoons? Anyways Merry Christmas. You'd sadly be better off at Trash Panda Express.

Fried rice with no flavor and everything taste the same. Imagine a Chinese version of a hometown buffet.

The reviews have to be fake the food is absolutely disgusting! Zero flavor. $95 dollars wasted in disgusting food. The place was empty and I totally understand the reason. These reviews have to be fake. The guy that posted 4 positive reviews he must be an owner or investor of this restaurant.

Sit down dining available but you need to order at the register and they will bring the food out to you in to go containers. I ordered HK pan fried noodles and Szechuan string green beans. Overall tasty but green beans could have been spicier. Food 3.5 Service 4 Ambiance 2

Chicken broccoli, NY STYLE chicken chow mein, Mongolian beef.

Ordered the Authentic New York style chicken chowmein ....it was SO GOOD! CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! Everything else was great too. The Chicken broccoli was great and so was chicken fried rice.

You come in and sit down. They bring you a menu and tell you that you have to come up to the register to order and pay (pay before you dine in). THEN when you sign the receipt there goes that tip line. Why on earth would I tip when you did not come to my table to take my order and you are asking for a tip while I'm ordering and before I have received any service. You guys are hurting yourselves because I'm not leaving a tip under those circumstances.

    Do they take apple pay?

I believe they do I tap to pay when I go in there

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? (Especially check soy sauce, fish sauce, seasoned rice vinegar, batter mixes for wheat, barley, rye & triticale.) I have Celiac disease & have to eat gluten free.

The waitress confirmed the order. When the bill arrived, however, I was charged for Roasted Duck Panang. When we brought this to the waitress's attention, the manager came over and insisted that I had been served duck. I explained that I don't order duck curry and specifically eat chicken. He then asked whether the meat was sliced or served whole. When I said it was in small pieces mixed into the curry, he responded, "Oh, that was duck." So not only was I charged incorrectly, but I was apparently served the wrong dish altogether. What was most frustrating was how difficult it seemed for the staff to acknowledge the mistake. If a restaurant cannot accurately take and deliver a simple order, it raises concerns for anyone with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or personal food preferences. Mistakes happen, but accountability and good customer service matter. Unfortunately, neither was demonstrated today. After more than four years as a customer, this experience has left me with no intention of returning.

The space itself is inviting with stylish décor and a warm, modern atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and hosting friends. Service is consistently excellent--attentive, welcoming, and polished every time we visit. Our Usual Order: 1) Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns - Hands down some of the best in the city. The prawns arrive perfectly crisp with a generous coating of golden garlic and herbs. Each bite has that satisfying crunch before giving way to tender shrimp. 2) Mango Crispy Catfish - A beautiful contrast of textures. The crispy catfish is topped with bright slices of mango and finished with a chili-lime dressing that ties everything together. The dish is vibrant, colorful, and bursting with flavors. 3) Crab Fried Rice - The rice comes generously packed with large pieces of crab and works perfectly alongside the other dishes. It's hearty enough to share. 4) Dessert here is as much about presentation as it is about enjoyment. The Mango Sticky Rice is beautifully plated, and the Egg Yolk Ice Cream is a unique treat that's rich and creamy without being overly sweet--the perfect way to end the meal. The wine list is surprisingly impressive for a Thai restaurant. We usually pair our meal with Orin Swift Blank Stare Sauvignon Blanc, which complements the dishes wonderfully. There's also a full bar, and the Lamaii Old Fashioned is worth trying--smooth, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. If you're looking for a spot with great atmosphere, attentive service, and dishes that are consistently well-executed, Lamaii is always a solid choice.

The restaurant is very small and quiet, which we enjoyed because it felt like being in someone's home for dinner. There's a nice cabinet in the back with some family pictures and that was a genuine touch in my opinion. The true star of the show, however, were our chefs choice dishes. I ordered the crab curry noodles (Khao Soi) and my husband ordered beef brisket panang curry. We couldn't agree on who had the better dish because they were both so incredible. Mine was spicy, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Large amount of crab was included on top of how large the dish was fo begin with. Enough for me to take home and enjoy the next day.
