Needed to find a quick bite for lunch. Wandered into the parking lot and saw their storefront. Lunch combos were under $10 and even came with some corn egg drop soup. I had the fish filets with black bean sauce, served with chow mein and fried rice. The chow mein noodles were very soft, I prefer my noodles crunchy. The fish was very tasty with lots of bell peppers and onion. Hubby had king pao shrimp which he really liked.

China Hot Wok is a casual American/Chinese Restaurant located in the North/West part of Las Vegas. It's not a fancy place. You order and pay at the counter and either take out or seat yourself. We ordered an appetizer and two dinners. One dinner came out first with the rice and fortune cookies. The other dinner came out in about five minutes. The appetizer came out about five minutes latter. We.tried the paper wrapped chicken appetizer. Here the chicken was slightly over cooked and over seasoned. We didn't care for it but maybe other people like it that way? I tried the spicy garlic Szechuan Chicken. I received a generously sized plate of food with tender chicken and lots of vegetables but it was in a very sweet flat sauce. I guess it is Nevada Style American/Chinese because many American/Chinese restaurants make this dish in a similar way. If you are from the east coast you will miss the hunan or oyster sauce taste and that splash of sherry. The hunan beef here is the crispy style. Here the beef is very chewy with a floury aftertaste. Another near by American/Chinese restaurant makes hunan beef crispy too but the beef melts in your mouth. Depends on your perceptive on how you feel about the dishes. 2.5 stars rounded up.

O.M.G! Can I just say, YELP is the real deal! I read the reviews on China Hot Wok and they did not disappoint whatsoever! I ordered the Spring Rolls, the Bourbon Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Now, if you like spice, I would say the Mongolian Beef would be a "go to" dish for you! I love love love Bourbon chicken and I requested extra sauce and they did not let me down! The service was amazing! The food was fresh and hot even though it was delivered with Uber Eats! I must give credit to the driver for Uber Eats because he had a good warmer in his car so my foot was hot as if it came straight from the kitchen! Thank you! I will say the ambiance of my home is good but one day I would like to visit the restaurant in person.

We tried a different spot for Chinese food but honestly just tasted like all the other places in town like China a go go etc... only good thing about this place is the portions are huge! Nothing really amazing to say or bad it's Chinese food that definitely better than American Panda Express. Service was ok after ordering a few entrees got out to go order with 10 mins or so, would we come back maybe if I feel like driving few more miles from our house because we have china one and China a go go by our house and it's literally the same.

Just moved to Summerlin, I left my favorite spot in Henderson. Very picky with Chinese food, so I skeptical. Reviews looked good, decided to try them. I ordered through yelp, $4 delivery charge. Yelp never updated me on when they were arriving, they just showed up. I asked for contactless delivery, he kept ringing the door bell. Stood there, even though I said leave food by door. I don't like answering doors to strangers delivery or not. I was like whatever, he was very nice and said "happy new years" Food smelt amazing as I was walking upstairs, it wasn't spilt all over the bag by leaking like the last place. I opened it, the veggies were all on top so I had dig for the meat. But I must say, very delicious! Both the Mongolian Beef & egg rolls. The beef had a spice to it, but not over bearing. I will definitely keep eating here!

Very good neighborhood Chinese food. Reminds me of the old spot in my neighborhood from childhood. The food is served up hot and tasty. The order was correct and the serving sizes were humongous. We ate on our order for three days. The highlight was the wonton soup because it was full of noddles, meats and yummy broth. Quick service, clean and yummy

Every item we have ever ordered from the menu is fresh, high quality, beautifully presented and most importantly delicious! Service is always top notch, with quick and attentive staff with a chef that is also attentive and communicative. One of our most favorite things is that this is a brewhouse, so they have really good in house beers and just a great drink selection. As a michelada enthusiast I was very pleasantly surprised that their in house michelada is one of the best I have had! Relatively kid friendly place, our kids enjoy their miso soup that also has mushrooms so it's more filling than other misos. They also enjoy the avocado handroll and edamame. All in all, this is a great place to grab a bite and some good drinks, especially for people who value quality over quantity.

The deal is great too, like a $1 a oyster from what I recall. Our server did a really great job on walking us through the menu, she was very natural and we felt comfortable in her presence! We enjoyed the sea bass, oysters, negi toro rolls and some drinks. A bit pricey but totally worth it. Ambiance is quaint with tv's, a bar area that's also like a sushi bar, and you can see the giant brewing containers for the beer behind the bar. So cool. PS .. Please don't skip the michelada! So good and unique I truly never had a michelada THIS good before!

The shrimp was too rubbery for me but the Pan Roast hit the spot. Had shrimp, crab, chicken, andouille with a scoop of rice in a creamy tomato base. We asked for medium spice and it was perfect. Some places make the base too runny or too thick but the consistency here was on point. This place has about 12 seats at the bar and 10 tables. We came Saturday at noon and it wasn't busy but there were a lot of take out orders.

About halfway through our meal, a child at the table directly next to us vomited all over the table and floor beside us. While we completely understand that accidents happen and do not blame the family whatsoever, the way the situation impacted the rest of our evening was extremely disappointing. The restaurant ultimately had to wait for a hazmat team to come in and clean the area, which meant we were sitting through the smell, disruption, and overall unsanitary atmosphere during what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner. At that point, the experience was completely ruined and there was no salvaging the evening. What was most disappointing was the lack of care or hospitality afterward. I spoke to someone named Brandon while we were there and asked for a business card or contact information, and was simply told he "didn't have one." No apology was offered, no meaningful acknowledgment was made regarding the situation, and there was no attempt to make things right despite how obviously uncomfortable and disruptive the experience had become. We spent a significant amount of money expecting an enjoyable steakhouse experience and instead left frustrated, uncomfortable, and incredibly disappointed. I also attempted to contact the restaurant directly afterward and was unable to get ahold of anyone. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and reaches out, because this was an awful way to spend what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner.
