    To Go - Egg Rolls
    Laura A.

China Kitchen is an American/Chinese casual order in or take out kind of restaurant. I went to the Aliante location that used to be a China A Go Go. This location shares a very nice outdoor community patio so I wanted to try it. Maybe the best of what we tried was the pot stickers. They had little flavor and seemed lightly fried and were ok. The egg rolls here are like spring rolls and were sort of gooey inside. The Hot Garlic Szechuan Chicken isn't hot or garlicy and is extra sweet and very flat tasting. It's so sweet that you can pour it on pancakes. The Kung Pao Beef is very hard to chew. Your side (rice or noodles) cost extra.

Been living and eating here for 20 years ... first time I get old chicken. I won't be coming back.

They have lunch and dinner specials... I NEED YOU GO OAST ALL OF THAT and get the Moo Shu chicken…read moreso that your taste buds thank you. The mushrooms and cabbage were cooked just enough to have crunchy texture but not raw. I don't care for the store brand flour tortilla but I use lettuce for leftovers and it's incredible!

A true local gem -- don't sleep on this place!…read more Tasty China is one of those hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants that feels like a secret only the locals know about -- and wow, the food absolutely delivers. Everything came out fresh, hot, and in very generous portions. I ordered the honey ginger chicken, mushu pork, and the house chow fun, and every single dish was a 10/10. The standout for me was the mushu pork. It was so fun to eat wrapped up burrito-style with the included pancakes -- honestly one of the most enjoyable dishes I've had in a while. The honey ginger chicken was perfectly balanced (not overly sweet), and the chow fun was packed with flavor and cooked just right. I seriously wish I had two stomachs... but I'm very happy to say I'll be enjoying amazing leftovers later. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is a quiet, cozy spot -- nothing flashy, just really good food made with care. Very attentive staff as well. This place deserves way more attention than it gets. If you love authentic, comforting Chinese food and appreciate mom-and-pop spots, Tasty China is a must-try. I'll absolutely be back.

We've eaten here many times . It's our go to for American style Chinese food when we don't want to…read moremake that arduous 20 minute trip to one of the 248 restaurants on Spring Mountain. They offer NY style Chinese and some Thai dishes. As far as I know from eating Chinese food all over the US as well as in Mainland China and Hong Kong and Taiwan. "NY style is typically Cantonese style , vegetable heavy in Americanized dishes like the chow mein and "chop suey" General whoever's chicken etc. . NY style egg rolls are not the wimpy little thin skinned spring rolls, but rather thicker skin deep fried creations heavy on the cabbage. I've had NY style rice flavored with saffron (or yellow food coloring) here it's plain steamed rice and the typical fried rice has more soy than other Chinese sub genres. Ok, foodology lecture over. We stopped in for lunch, the kids were back from school helping mom and dad out, you still either order at the counter or take a menu back to your seat. (This place is mostly take out now). Food is served in take out containers or paper plates . The take out containers work for us since we never finish everything. Lunch specials are pretty typical and are priced comparatively. My dining companion had the shrimp and veggie lunch special . What stood out were the 5 large fresh shrimp and a very generous portion of fresh broccoli and zucchini . The lomein was simple with a decent amount of soy. Her egg drop soup was piping hot. I opted for country tofu which was braised tofu chunks with brown sauce and veggies. Served with steamed rice. Now I am a sucker for their traditional egg rolls (not the wimpy spring rolls) so I ordered them as well. Tea was served in a pot (no teabag but real tea). We ate our fill, chatted with the owner a bit and packed our stuff to go home. Always a pleasure to dine here for an affordable Chinese style meal

In all honestly this place needs to change its way of cooking. It might have been good two years…read moreago but we had it last night and it was so bad we didn't even finish the dinner. I had to toss it away. The mangolian beef was good but it was so heavy with oil that I barely had one spoon. The noodles which was $3.50 extra instead of the white rice was dull and very mushy. I ordered shrimp with veggies and that comes with white rice. The shrimp had no flavor at all. The rice was so dry it felt like it was old rice rather than just steamed. The pork egg rolls are mentioned in the reviews so much I had to give it a try. I ended up giving it to my dog after one bite and my dog didn't even eat it. There was more cabbage than pork and again dull. Please Asian wok change your chef and do better because I had high hopes but throwing away dinner especially when I'm 6 months pregnant wasn't the best for my family.
