Absolutely a waste of time and money. The workers, the tools used and their work areas are ALL unhygienic. I've heard that some customers actually got infected and went to a doctor immediately for a tetanus shot. As if that weren't enough, their workers and the owner are so nasty and rude, and will make you wait for hours, even if you had an appointment. I don't speak Chinese but I was told that they make fun of their customers ALL THE TIME. Horrible experience. negative zero stars. For real! read more

Management is senseless and rude. I have been coming here for years and yet still they are rude and are not customer service oriented. However, the ladies that work here are nice and do a fine job on simple requests. I don't not recommend getting anything complicated here - keep to the basic manicure and pedicure. I brought my own polish that dries faster with the UV light. Instead of simply turning the light on for me, they insisted on charging me the same price as a gel manicure... using my own polish, which is applied the same way as any regular polish as it's not gel. The ladies have turned the light on for me before but this time management was involved and insisted on charging more for doing absolutely no extra work. read more

Wow. Reviews didn't lie. I decided to come here because I had some time to kill and wanted to get a manicure to clean my cuticles. I got here at 5:13 my manicurist was lotioning my hand at 5:17... she took 4 minutes to buff, oil, push back my cuticles & skimmed through my cuticles because she did not cut anything at all. She could've at least pretended a little better. I didn't let her finish and I think I was a bit rude but seriously come on. The counter lady said someone else can do my manicure and I agreed because I didn't want to pay for a half ass job. The second manicurist was ok. No the best cleaning and pairing job but thank god I picked a light/nude color. I've had so much better. And for $10 definitely not worth it. Save your money and give yourself a mani. This is my go to local spot. I have never had any issues, some of the ladies do a better job than others but my nails always look nice. I pay the $1-$2 extra for the weekly polish and it usually last 2-2 1/2. Sometimes my good friend and I bring our girls with us, they are only 4 years old but the ladies always make them feel nice and pampered (and charge a great price for a little girl mani, just polish no cutting unless specifically requested) Everyone has always been nice and polite. read more

The worst place ever! Came here for waxing (lips) and the lady was wiping my lips with a dry tissue 7-8 time until it started to hurt. Then she just waxed it non-stop I even stopped counting and it started to hurt A LOT. It was burning as well. After she finally finished (took her 45 minutes to do lips and half (!) arms, and I finally looked in the mirror my upper lips were super red and skin was irritated. And it still hurts and burn after 10 hours. When I looked in the mirror I was shocked. I asked for the manager to look at it and all the women who works there started only speak Chinese and no one ever said A WORD to me. One of them even laughed, I told her this is not a laughing matter. Only few of them were shocked as well and one offered me a cream. But they were still speaking on another language and one even said sorry! And the woman who did it was keep speaking Chinese only and keep arguing. I paid the whole amount and my point was not about that. Just to pay attention to me and being sorry. This is worst experience and you can not act to people like that. Got my eyebrows waxed and nails done today The waxing was fine but when we got to nails, she was super rough and it was extremely painful. When i was gonna pay before polish, I gave my card and she like rudely said "will u give me tip? Can i add to card?" I said that I have cash and will give afterwards. She rolled her eyes and the rest of the process was rushed and she was speaking about me to her coworker the whole time. At the end, manicurists usually come with me to drying place and bring my stuff. Now, I got up and she yelled at me "you not gonna give me tip?!" I said I need to dry first so I don't ruin my nails and she just walks away and a different worker assisted me with drying. I gave a $2 tip and I will never go back there! Good quality, very clean and modern interior. However, when you come in for a set (mani and pedi) a lot of times they split the job between 2 girls and expect double tips. They always talk in their native tongue which I, being bilingual, understand is a convenience for them. On the other hand, today it was very obvious that they were discussing clients and it does make me feel uncomfortable especcially after they try to hustle a 30% tip out of me. i went to jasmine for pedicure instead i got infection and butchered , i went to dr right after the pedicure i paid 200$ for tetanus shot, antibiotic cream and numbing cream. i went to jasmine nail to owner next day with dr bill she was a witch she couldn't care less and she did not apologize . she said im not paying your dr bill and i'm not giving you back money for your pedicure. Filthy salon does not disinfect and sanitize properly. she reuses the disposable plastic bins in the pedicure basin she uses the same pumice stone on everyones feet and then the blade thing that looks like a cheese grater she uses the same one on everyone's feet, remember my blood is now on all of these tools . the salon may look pretty because it was built in 2015 but beware don't judge a book by its cover. it's filthy and not sanitary.8 months after my incident- 8 months later I get a call from health inspector he went down to inspect Jasmine nail salon it took 8 months but my complaint to health dept did work. read more

I usually get my nails done in Sunset Park but I didn't have time this week due to a party on Saturday I had do my nails on Friday and on Saturday during work one of my nails broke. I being me I crazy glue it and it last until Monday that I redid the nail that broke. Now Sunday another broke nail this is ridiculous I'm sorry I don't hate but it hasn't even been two weeks and I had a total of 3 nails broken. I was uncomfortable with the person chosen to do my pedicure, believing them to be someone else with whom I had not had the greatest of service. Whereas that was my mistake, instead of diffusing the problem and just acknowledging what had happened, the woman whose services I declined confronted me publicly in an aggressive manner. She then started speaking in Chinese to other workers and made me feel she was talking about me and my situation. Salon seems clean and each manicure gets a new pre packaged buffer and nail file. I used Linda and my friend used Wendy for manicures. Both did great through jobs, though Wendy is 10/15 minutes faster than Linda who took about 40 minutes. read more

This is my first review on YELP bu t I felt compelled to write about this awful establishment. I am appalled that this salon has received any positive reviews at all. My regular manicurist was unavailable and I decided to come here due to the Yelp reviews, and because it was closer to where I live. I figured if it was good, I could come here regularly. What a mistake! I called early in the day to see if they could schedule an appointment with me for Wendy. Wendy herself, I later found out, told me to come at 1:30pm. I guess she is also the owner/manager. When I came exactly at 1:30pm, no one looked up when I said I have an appointment and I was just going from manicurist to manicurist asking who I should speak to about my appointment. Finally, Wendy looked up and asked in a nasty tone what I wanted. I said I had an appointment for mani/ped at 1:30pm and she told me to "pick a colla" to which I said I did. After waiting for 30 minutes ( I would have left but knew that I wouldnt have another option on NYE), they told me to go to the back to get my pedicure finally ,which was not with Wendy, but someone who charged me 5 extra dollars to buff my heals even though they are rougher now than usual. Afterwards, and after another 15 minutes waiting after my pedicure was done, Wendy finally decided to take me for the gel manicure. When I showed her the color I wanted for the manicure she brought out the nail polish, which was dried up and could hardly be spread. When I asked her very calmly and nicely if she had a newer version or a similar color where the polish wasn't dried up she started raising her voice telling me "what's your problem"?! I was stunned. I said I don't have a problem, I just wnat to use an old polish and have it chip the next day - can you please see if there is a similar color? She then proceeds to tell me to "bring my own color next time, and that it doesn't matter what the color is, but who the manicurist is that applies it." She just refused to show me a different polish, added acetone to the old one and keep giving me this filthy attitude. I said "no i will not be using that" and picked another random color just to speed up and get the hell out of there. When she finished one hand, I took a half a second look at it before putting into the UV machine and she again said "whats your problem" to which I replied, "My only problem is your awful attitude the second I came in here, if you don't want new customers don't make appointments with them - what's YOUR problem?" She said "I have no problem" and continued to finish the awful gel manicure. I have never been this upset with a manicurist, not only for their awful manicure and pedicure (i have more cuticle now than I did before I went in there, nail polish all around my nails on the skin - as if my 10 year old nephew did my manicure instead of a professional) but more than anything the horrible attitude of the owner. When other women heard my exchange with Wendy they started saying that they received this treatment consistently and will not be returning again, despite the close proximity to their homes. Ladies - there are dozens of salons in the area, why give this ungrateful owner any business?!? read more
