This was my first visit. I went here because it's the highest reviewed groomer in the area. My 5lb Maltese is 4yrs old. We were the first appt at 8am. I was out front waiting when they opened their doors. He was the first dog dropped off. After an hr, I hadn't heard from them, but I saw dogs exiting the groomer. I called to check on my dog. He still wasn't ready. They told me to wait 15 more minutes. I waited 30 minutes and went inside. A woman immediately shoved a consent form/waiver in my face for me to sign. Then she goes to the back and after a few minutes brings out my boy. He had loose hair all over him like he had just come off the table and he was frightened. I was holding him. The groomer reached for his face. He flinched. The groomer laughed. I took him home. He has been less energetic. He is not himself. We went for a walk the next day and he barely made it 1/4 mile. Usually he does 3 miles. Other groomers that he's been to finish him up in under an hr, call when he's ready, and always have him waiting either on a leash by the front desk or in a open play pen by the front desk. This place kept him in a kennel in the back. He is afraid of going to groomers, but he's never flinched or acted this off coming back from one. It's been a few days, and he just wants to be held which is strange. He never wants to be held. Further, the groomer said she struggled to buzz his face. The only groomer who's ever struggled with his face is a Petsmart groomer at Fullerton who I went to when we first moved here. A lot of times I read these reviews and think oh the customer is picky, or has impossible standards. I'm one of the most laid back people. I think this place scared my dog. And I don't think they're any better at grooming than newbie Petsmart employees. read more

Their clip sizes were limited and very short so my cat would have looked bald. I came across Judy's company on Yelp. I contacted her and she said she could take off as much or little fur as I wanted. Absolutely amazing deserves every star and more. We took our year old ragdoll Momo to get groomed and remove some of the tougher knots. Momo is a quarantine baby so she is very fearful of other humans. They took fantastic care of her they were so nice and she wasn't stressed at all when I picked her up. if you're the type of fur parent who has a hard time trusting a new groomer to groom your pup or also about the way they treat your fur baby while they're getting groomed.. this is definitely the place to trust! i have a 65 pound bernedoodle named Lilo, who is a big handful. it's been hard for me to find a groomer who has the patient to cut my fur baby's hair, nails, etc. i called Judys Pet Grooming to see if they can work with Lilo and they were able to take her in right away, literally the same day. when i got there, i loved how clean and decorated the salon was. i loved the staff. they're very welcoming and especially with your fur baby. upon arrival, they make sure the dog feels safe, greets them, lets them smell the place so the dog can feel safe, which i loved. Annette helped us and she is AMAZING! i've never felt so comfortable leaving Lilo with a groomer. Annette introduced herself, got to know Lilo, we talked about Lilo for a bit to kind of get an idea of what kind of personality Lilo has & obviously discussed how I would want Lilo to look. When I came to pick up Lilo, I was in love with her look. She was so incredibly soft and she looked so well taken care of. We discussed Lilos behavior, because my dog does tend to be a handful, and has a bit of anxiety when it comes to getting groomed but Annette mentioned that she loved working with her and would love for her to come back.
