I read the bad, read the good, and decided to give them a try. I called, explained my situation, and boom, same day visit to make sure everything was ok, then a follow up the next day for a temp. Fast, efficient, easy. Now, because this was an emergent issue, I didn't take the time to go through all of the hoops to find an in-network provider with my insurance provider. I know this could've lead me to a search for a second job, but fortunately I was covered, even though I was not in-network. I did have questions about cost, and how my coverage would apply; let me tell you, they broke everything down, and explained everything I could expect, and even refunded me fees that they clawed back from my insurance. I wanted to know how my coverage would work, since they were out of network, and they gave me a printout of how my coverage would be applied over their range of services. It turns out that even though they're not in my network, everything is still reasonably covered so I'm joining their club! A week later, my crown was ready; they got it fitted, seated, and got me out the door in under an hour. No pain, no problems, just premium work! On my original crown, you could feel the seam where the crown met the tooth, but the new one is on there and I can't tell where my tooth stops and the crown starts, it's completely seamless! It's like magic; sweet, sexy, dental magic! I was back on track towards earning my Ozempic prescription the very next day. Alex, Luli, Dr. Kuo, you guys are amazing, thank you!!!

Made sure I was OK every step of the way. I also had Dr. Chavez do a follow up checkup, she was very thorough and explained all the steps that would be needed . Turns out I need an old filling replaced because a tiny piece fell out and it's old, so time to replace it. I went to this same office for close to 50 years, first with Dr. George Henley, who retired and then Dr. Mann, who also retired. Despite the good Yelp reviews, my expectations were pretty low, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is a mighty fine dental office. The office itselt isn't particularly fancy or super modern but everyone was really nice and Dr. Machado was extremely personable and gentle. He was very patient with and amused by my completely unfounded low dental self-esteem and general conviction that my teeth resemble a jagged row of Corn Nuts. I had a thorough exam, a gentle cleaning and although there was one small problem found, the good doc was straight with me about how quickly it really needed to be addressed. As a special bonus, I even learned a new flossing technique (I'm a super dedicated flosser who feels negligent if I don't floss 2x daily, so I thought I knew it all). I will be very happy to return to Dr. Machado for future care and would be glad to make him my official dentist as future insurance coverage allows (he is open to new patients).

He made several recommendations and offered a referral to an oral surgeon to address a possible cyst I have underneath one of my teeth. Was so impressed I told him and his dental hygienist that this was my new dental home! I asked her to make a follow up cleaning/exam appointment in 6 months. My absolute highest recommendation!
