My husband and I got married this past January 14 at the Richard Nixon Library. We love food so much and have been to so many weddings where we were truly disappointed by the food. Having said that, having to use the venue's preferred vendors made me a little nervous initially. But now I am so happy we went with Jason's. Everything from the staff to the food was incredible. Adriana was so awesome and helpful in every way. She was so patient with all of my millions of questions throughout the process and gave us some great advice. The food was spectacular. We received so many compliments from our guests stating the food was the best they'd ever had at a wedding and I couldn't agree more, it was phenomenal! Caribbean Crepe!!! To die for. I took a friend here (because his name is Jason... ha ha, I am funny, I know) and we ordered a Coconut Shrimp and two glasses of wine for the happy hour, along with a Caribbean Crepe and to be honest, I don't remember what he ordered. I think I was oblivious since mine tasted so good, but I am pretty sure he ordered the Bastilla. I just remember him thinking his dish was okay. The Caribbean Crepe, however, was a delicious fusion of different flavors - not quite Caribbean, not quite Indian, not quite American. But the taste, texture, and quality of food were all superb. We just had our tasting at Jason's for our wedding and the experience was amazing. Upon arrival in their downtown Santa Ana showroom, we were greeted with complimentary wine, drinks, and our choice of or food for tasting. We've been to plenty of tastings and i felt that Jason's was best one due to the romantic date like and no pressure setting. Aliana was the lady in charge of our event and gave us details on pricing, food, and different options. We loved her personality and how she let us eat and discuss amongst ourselves as the food was coming out so me and my fiance could critique each mouthful of Jason's food. The best part of the meal was when Jason, the cook/owner actually introduced himself to us and talked to us about our special day. We felt excited and felt that him being there really made us feel like he really cared. In the end we had decided with another company. Only due to the fact that they gave us a better deal on a full bar, which played a huge part in our budget and our decision. If we did only a wine and beer hosted bar, we would have chosen Jason's due to the value of price of their food and services. I just got married November 10th, 2018 at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. The venue gives you two options to choose from as far as far as catering and beverage services go. We couldn't have been happier with our decision. First off, Adriana is the BEST from start to finish. She is incredibly helpful, responsive, and flexible when it comes to making sure that we were pleased with the decisions we made. They offer a wide variety of options, plated menu, and various beverage menus. The Music and Food were most important to us and in working with Jason's we knew we'd be getting the best quality and service out there. They were incredibly responsive and available throughout the planning process. Even up until the very end when I decided to make changes to linens, and the bar menu they were more than happy to meet our requests. There is a lot that goes into the "big day" so having someone like Adriana who was always two steps ahead made all the difference. The day of the wedding went off without a glitch!! They had 20 staff members on site to make sure our guests were well taken care of and everything was delivered on scheduled per the coordinators timeline. We went with a surf and turf plated option which was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Our guests are STILL talking about how good everything was from the cocktail hour to the dinner. We hosted an open bar which offered a variety of different options - bartenders were awesome! More importantly it was the little things - their staff made sure my husband and I had drinks the entire night. We opted not to join our cocktail hour to finish up photos and take a quick breather alone. They came to check on us in the bridal suite brought us our own plate of hors d'oeuvres and "his" and "hers" cocktails that were featured on our menu. SO thoughtful! After our grand entrance they brought another plate of each of the 5-6 hors d'oeuvres we selected for round two in case we needed additional snacks to hold us over (especially since the bride and groom don't really get a chance to sit and eat without any distractions!). One amazing final touch was they had "to go" plates wrapped up for my husband and I to take on our way - and we DEFINITELY ate them as soon as we got to the hotel. All in all they are WONDERFUL! Jason's Downtown Santa Ana...what a surprise! My sweetie and I want to go out to eat, it's Saturday night, that's what you do. We had a glass or 2 of a great Bordeaux that we tasted a couple of weeks ago at The Wine Club, Tim Grady hosting the tasting, Anyway after a couple, we decided to go to either Bistro 400 or Jason's on 4th. We chose Jason's, were seated immediately, and there was a jazz and contemporary band playing (low key music). Cool. We had a Jason salad, the I had COQ Au Vin and my sweetie, a Bastilla. Very leisurely dinner, ate, talked, listened to the music. We liked this place. good experience. We will try Bistro 400 next. They are just a few doors away on 4th. read more

Jason's: the restaurant that tried its best NOT to get new customers. Backstory: friends and I tried for over a month to get together for dinner at Jason's. Every single (weekend) night that we were free, Jason's was closed for a private event. It was as though Jason's wasn't interested in drumming up new business. But, we persevered because we'd had a taste of Jason's during the Santa Ana pub crawl and we knew it was worth the trouble. Jason's serves great food, in a cool-polished setting. I highly recommend their sangria (either red or white). Their kalbi beef skewers are delicious, as are their pot stickers. I ordered the Lamb Tajine - since I've never cooked lamb in my own kitchen and don't ever see myself tackling the dish, so I try to order it in restaurants. It was great! Although, a little too heavy on the cous cous. All of the dishes are very flavorful and delicious. It could be a 5 star restaurant - but because of it's crazy hours I'm docking it a star. read more

Reviewed strictly on the strength of two appetizers and some Sangria (so I reserve the right to edit / expand this review after I return for dinner). My wife, her aunt, some friends and I hit Jason's as part of a downtown Santa Ana pub crawl one weekend, and it quickly shot to the top of our lists as the best place we visited during the night. Located down at the "end of the world" (the owner's words) across from the Reagan federal building, Jason's is a bit off the beaten path, but worth the very short trek. Granted, it helped that the proprietor was hanging out on the front patio when we strolled up, and sat & talked with us for several minutes as we ate, making us feel exceptionally welcome. But, beyond that, the quality of the food & drink was top notch. We ordered a round of red sangria, which was delicious (although I'm anxious to return and work through their actual wine list), especially on a warm August night. This accompanied two appetizers: a seared ahi wonton, and some kalbi (NOT Kobe, note) beef skewers. Both were explosively flavorful, sweet and tender. I've been to this place about 5 times and have never, ever been disappointed. It is the epitome of a hidden gem. The decor is beautiful and very classy, but edgy in a way (exposed brick wall, funky art, bold colors). The atmosphere is wonderful and warm and they always have fun, laid back entertainment. It's rare that the makeshift dance area isn't full of grooving regulars by the end of the night. I haven't eaten too many meals here but the pastas are never disappointing, and I think either my best friend or I have ordered the coconut shrimp (complete with sweet, addictive dipping sauce) every time. The menu is unique and diverse and everything I've tried has been amazing. Once you meet Jason the whole place sort of makes sense, as he himself is pretty laid-back, funky, warm, and classy. He is the friendliest guy and has some great stories. Even if you aren't in it for the food, the bar is awesomeee. It gets pretty crowded on Saturday nights but the drinks are worth the wait. The bartender is quite a stud when it comes to mixing drinks (not to mention extremely friendly and pretty easy on the eyes). Be sure to try the honeydew martini, and last time I was there he was mixing up some absinthe cocktails that looked pretty tasty. My only complaint is that I can only possibly go there 3 times a week, but that almost makes it more special. Go. Now! read more

This is an amazing find. It's a trek from the artist's village section of downtown Santa Ana, but is right across from the massive travertine marble Ronald Reagan Federal Courthouse, where all of the county's business and personal bankruptcies are being handled. The wine tasting menu here is wonderful. The food was wonderful. Great selection of wines, and really great food. The place was packed for a weekday night. I recommend this restaurant without reservations. Actually, do make reservations, go eat and have a drink, and then walk down Broadway through the Artist's Village, and enjoy the other establishments in the area (Memphis at the Santora, PROOF bar, Lola Gaspars, Memphis, and even Original Mike's). read more

I was expecting for this place to be uber fantastic after reading all the reviews on yelp, but it's just kinda ok. The food was edible and a little bit better than ok but it wasn't spectacular either. My boyfriend and I got a $50 restaurant.com gift certificate but couldn't print it out so we called and said we could either fax it or e-mail it to them and they would honor the certificate, and they did! Which was very nice of them. We went on a weekday night and it was really dead, only about two or three other tables in the entire place! We started off with the calamari which is a provencale style where it's sauteed with Worcestershire and tomatoes and I forget what my boyfriend got but I got the caribbean crepes which sounded better than they actually were. I've been going to Jason's Downtown several times, but this time is the first time I discovered the "Wine Cellar". I thought it was just a place where they store the wine, but it turns out that this is an area of the restaurant where you can actually have a private group... seems to be able to fit a good 20~30 people... and it looks really cool!! It was perfect for our group of 15 people, we had a blast, and we could be as loud as we wanted, being able to walk around without having other people around... and with the usual delicious food of the chef Jason! Our game of Texas Hold'em in the cellar was a total blast !!! Only con: while in the cellar you can't enjoy the live music as much as when you are in the restaurant area. read more

I've heard horror stories about planning weddings from friends and family. I'm so glad to say that from the get-go, I had nothing but the best experience with our vendors - especially from Natalie and the team at Jason's Catered Events. Out of all the preferred vendor options for our wedding site, Jason's was the most responsive and helpful. I never felt as though I had to chase them down for answers. They went above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable and special. And the food - Delicious! We did a brunch wedding instead of the standard chicken or beef dinner since our wedding was in the morning. Jason and Natalie worked together to prepare a perfect menu of cheese omelets, red potatoes, applewood smoked bacon, sausage, Belgium waffles with a melon ball and blueberry salad. Everyone had their fill and loved the food. I'm glad to say that the impeccable service extended beyond our events contact and the chef to the service staff. They had such kind attention to detail. I love good service. You can bet that when my girlfriends get married or I have any other events, Jason's will be my number one recommendation. read more

This review is overdue, but better late than never! Jason's catered our wedding 5 and a half years ago and the food and service were outstanding. I still get friends and family who randomly bring up how much they had enjoyed the meal from that day. Jason's was one of the caterers we had to choose from our wedding venue. From the time of tasting we knew we were in great hands. Jason and Natalie were very accommodating, and worked closely with us to make our vision a reality. For our lunch reception of 300 guests, we served plated California Salad, and a lunch buffet of Prime Flat Iron Steak with chimichurri, Miso Glazed Scottish Salmon, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables. Everything was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The tray passed hors d'oeuvres were delectable. They had a wide selection of items to choose from; the bacon wrapped dates were particularly memorable. They made extra effort to find the Korean and Taiwanese beer that we wanted to serve and made our refreshing signature mango cocktail a hit at the wedding. They were so thoughtful with all the details. From the chocolate covered strawberries that accompanied the cake to the very popular candy station, everything looked beautiful and tasted great. Knowing that the bride and the groom would not have much time to enjoy the food during the reception, they had packed us togo boxes of all the food to enjoy later. Had drinks and appetizers here earlier today, I kinda liked it. Ambiance is good, food was pretty good, but I wouldn't drive all the way from Costa Mesa, be stuck in traffic, for the appetizers. I must admit, though, I tried their soup of the day, which was a mushroom bisque, very delicious. Their cheese appetizer is tasty (get it during Happy Hour, half off!), yet the other appetizers weren't as memorable. I think the chef tries to be too fancy & creative, but it just didn't work for my peasant taste buds. I think I might like to come back to have lunch or dinner... but several stores down is Bistro 400, now that place has good appetizers! read more

What a great little venue! I came here a couple of weeks ago for a private bday party and thought it was wonderful. The place has 2 rooms: one is the front room which is small but has a bar and the other room is a long rectangular shaped room for entertaining in. The decor makes this place look very classy but still trendy and young. We had a very long table for about 30 people which makes it difficult to socialize with everyone at the other end but I'm sure you can set it up differently if you wanted to. But given that it's a private party, it really doesn't matter because you can get up and talk to anyone anyways. The food was also very good. We had filet mignon and fish and both were extremely tasty. The filet mignon was extremely tender and just melted in my mouth. They topped it with blue cheese or some sort of herbed butter. Yum! As for price, I'm not sure how much it costs to rent this place. I'm all about getting the most bang for your buck so depending on that, it might not be worth it. Nevertheless, I did see on their website that it's around $55/person for dinner. Not too bad if that includes the price of renting out the venue! read more

Had a pleasantly calm dinner with a couple girlfriends here on a Friday night. At first, we were taken aback by all the empty tables! I mean, there was live music with this great female singer....the place is nice....it's a weekend, where is everyone?! But, if you picked up Jason's and put it in say downtown Fullerton or Orange even, it'd probably be more popular. Our waitress was this cute, courteous lil lady who treated us great. We had a bottle of Maso Canali Pinot Grigio, pleasant & refreshing. Then, came our cheese plate appetizer: St. Andre, Humbolt Fog Dry & Gorgonzola Spread w/ Brandied Golden Raisins, Balsamic Figs, Apricot Cranberry Chutney, Grapes, Strawberries & Nuts. Accompanied by fresh bread, it was delicious. I had the Caribbean Crepes: Crepes of Fresh Florida Rock Shrimp and Ahi with West Indian Curry & Coconut Milk, Red Onion, Red Pepper & Celery sautéed in Honey Butter, flamed in Rum and topped with Fresh Mango Sauce & Toasted Coconut Island Rice Pilaf w/ Cashews & Raisins, Baby French String Beans. As a whole, it was great, although I would've liked more fish inside the crepes. The island rice was sooo good, too. My friends ordered chicken dishes and were very pleased with them. Adri from Jason' s caterer absolutely the best! One month before my daughters wedding day (April 17th) our previous vendor canceled. Adri was quick to respond and offered the best package from other offers I received. Cocktail hour and appetizers were great! The dinner entree filet mignon and salmon was perfection! Guests were commenting how amazing everything tasted. I would use them again for any type of event. $12 for a pitcher of beer is an AWESOME deal. It was pretty much like 4 glasses. I got the pale ale on tap and I'm so sad that I don't remember the name because it was pretty good. It had an almost citrusy flavor to it. The DJ spun top 40 all night so it wasn't anything special, but I still had fun. It was pretty empty when we got there and no one was dancing but things started to pick up after people started to drink and I ended up dancing til late. Joe and I ordered the spanish tortilla and our bad for not really reading what it was because we pretty much ordered an omelette that was not worth $9 but whatevers. Some people were passing out free drinks on us maximum $15 tickets so it made the experience even better. There was only one disappointing thing about this place: the buttery nipple. It's supposed to just be a shot. The bottom half is butterscotch schnapps and the top half is bailey's. They should not be mixed together. The bartender shook up half a shot of each into a cocktail shaker and poured it out into a cup. That's now what a buttery nipple is! Shaking it with ice waters down the shot too and a watered down shot is not tasty or worth it. Can't wait to come back and try the food! read more

Jason's Catered Events was grrrrreat to work with. Natalie starts every email to me with "Hello Beautiful Bride Hannah!" hahaha. We ended up hiring a coordinator later in our wedding planning and Natalie worked well with her, too. I used them from a preferred list at the Nixon Library for our wedding just a week ago. I picked them because I thought they had the best food and open bar option, especially considering the price per person. Natalie is responsive and asks all the questions you need asked to get your reception done the right way. The tasting at Jason's was delicious, I had a hard time picking, but we ended up with a duet of braised short-rib with wine reduction and hawaiian butterfish, roasted veggies, and rice pilaf. EVERYONE was talking about how the food was really good - especially the apps and fish. Apps we had kalbi skewer (okay, so I'm actually Korean and it's not a real authentic kalbi, but it was a tasty morsel of marinated beef so I still picked it), greek spinach phyllo dough triangle... i can't even spell it haha, and this tasty thai-inspired chicken in a little edible cup. Now, as a guest, I never expect good food at weddings, so I'm really happy that we got to wow our guests with good food. read more

I took my boyfriend here for our 2 year anniversary and we loved it. We had the California Rumaki as a starter and it was so unique and delicious. I ordered the Mexican Sea Bass and my boyfriend ordered the Prime Skirt Steak. The Sea Bass was scrumptious but it lacked a little flavor compared to other Sea Bass that I've had. Maybe it fell short because my boyfriend's order had so much garlic flavor which exploded in my tastebuds.The Skirt Steak was so tender, juicy, and garlic-y. Don't think I've ever had steak that delicious in awhile! I couldn't stop eating off my boyfriend's plate! I reserved thru opentable.com and I made a note that it was our anniversary and if they could possibly whip up some dessert that said "Happy Anniversary." At the end of our meal, they indeed brought out this cute & delicious marble cake with Happy Anniversary written in strawberry sauce! The live jazz band was a great addition too. They played this blues jazz version of Billie Jean which made our night. The ambience is dark, relaxed, and can be romantic or fun for a group of friends... however you want to spin it. It can get a little loud with the band so if you're planning to have some deep conversations, sit on the patio cuz it may be hard to hear each other. Good company, live music, delicious food and a friendly staff make Jason's Downtown a five-star. It is a hidden jewel on the fringe of Santa Ana Art District and should be on your list of restaurants to try in that area. We enjoyed our food with red sangria, which was made particularly strong for us; that's always a win. We started the evening off with Rumaki, a dish of ripened bananas wrapped with bacon over chopped vegetables. It was flavorful and a pleasant departure from run of the mill appetizers. We followed that with Caribbean Crepe. Other than shrimps, I don't remember what was in but it was delicious. It just melted in my mouth. Just read the description. How could you not want to try it! "Crepes of Fresh Florida Rock Shrimp and Ahi with West Indian Curry & Coconut Milk, Red Onion, Red Pepper & Celery sautéed in Honey Butter, flamed in Rum and topped with Fresh Mango Sauce & Toasted Coconut Island Rice Pilaf w/ Cashews & Raisins, Baby French String Beans." Great venue for a party (birthday, work event or random happy hour)! It has a dining area, bar area, large patio & a dancefloor! I created a Yelp account JUST so I could praise Jason's Restaurant. That in itself should tell you how great this place is. First off, Jason is a true New Yorker. He's sweet, quirky, hospitable and knows how to keep his customers happy. I went to Jason's last month for dinner after finding a coupon on Restaurant.com. As a vegetarian, it's hard to find meatless/eggless dishes with quality taste & presentation, but this restaurant appeals to all taste buds. We had these amazing pomegrenate margaritas (YUM) and the most delicious dessert I've EVER had: pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream. My mouth is salivating as I write this.... We then decided that Jason's would be a fantastic place to host my 29th Birthday party. We invited about 40 people, arranged an affordable Open Bar package, and brought our own IPOD for after-hours music & dancing. It was an absolute blast, and my friends were shocked at the gorgeous ambience and fabulous service from a restaurant they'd never even heard of before that night. We chose Jason's Catering from a list of preferred vendors for our wedding and could not have made a better choice. From the first email until the last plate at our wedding was served they were nothing short of perfect. Natalie and her team were on top of everything, had great advice when needed and helped us craft a perfect menu for our wedding. They dealt with all of our requests, questions, and anything else we threw at them with the ease of a seasoned pro and the professionalism one always hopes for. The food at the wedding was perfect, I cannot tell you how many people are still raving about the food. I highly recommend their biscuits. While I never got to eat one (too busy mingling) I know a number of people who er...ate their fair share :) The service staff goes above and beyond. Everyone felt so well attended to and the servers dedicated to our bridal party were three steps ahead of us on everything. The only thing I wish they had done was sent us home with a little food since we didn't get to eat :( If you are considering hiring them for your wedding or event I can't recommend them enough and ask for Natalie. I would give this 3 1/2 stars if they had that available. I wanted to absolutely love it because I'm so into the Arts District area of Santa Ana. I'd give it a B+ I went there for my birthday with my 10 year old daughter. We had a restaurants.com gift certificate for $25.00. I ordered 2 glasses of wine, a shirley temple for her, a Spanish Quiche type appetizer, a pasta dish for her and a Vegan Vegetable Medley dish for me. And a rich chocolate dessert. My meal was great and so was my daugter's pasta dish. The appetizer wasn't my cup of tea, but other people may like it. The dessert was a bit too rich. The service was PHENOMENOL. I can't rave about the waitress enough. I never thought I cared much about service as I'm much more into a cool atmosphere, but when you have absolutely outstanding service, you can't help but see how other places fall short in this department. We never wanted for anything, but the waitress didn't hover either. The flamenco dancers were really cool too... but I should warn those coming for date night that's you shouldn't expect to carry on a conversation if you go on Flamenco night, as it was REALLY REALLY loud. But very entertaining nonetheless. I love that they offer a couple of Vegan alternatives for me too. Overall, I would totally come back but I wasn't absolutely blown away. Jason's catered my wedding at the Newland Barn and it was amazing! Their online menu was a bit confusing so I called and spoke with their coordinator Ali. She set up a tasting for us and went over the details. They provided cucumber water at our ceremony and reception. The food was SO good and reasonably priced for what you are getting! At our wedding their staff did a great job setting up and facilitating the services. Many of our guests told us they LOVED the food! I couldn't be happier! They also provide rentals if you're at a venue like the Newland Barn where it is bare. Prices were reasonable compared to most caterers ($50 ish per person, 4 appetizers, salad, dinner and coffee/tea). read more

The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, making it more of a destination than a stroll-by. It's also (at least, for now) only open for dinner on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights, so you can't just "pop in" anytime. The menu features an eclectic variety of offerings. The owner stopped by to chat and said he built the concept around his favorite dishes. He wasn't going for a cuisine, but for good meals. Jamaican meets Morocco meets Mexico, all on one menu and well-executed. Nice! For starters, we had the flatbread and spreads along with the egg torta. The spreads were good, but the egg dish was more intriguing. It came with a corn salsa that quickly got gobbled up. Torta could've been a bit warmer, but the flavors were good. For entrees, we tried the Flaming Shrimp, Short ribs and Lamb Tagine. All dishes were well-seasoned, nicely cooked and quite tasty. Ribs were tangy-sweet without being cloying. The lamb was tender and the accompanying couscous had good texture with subtle sweetness from the dried fruits. I didn't try the shrimp, but understand they were delicious. Portions were large and prices were reasonable. Wine list was limited but supported the meal options. Service was pleasant and attentive. A very nice find - well worh a trip. read more

Similar to some of the other comments, this review is long overdue. Jason's catered our wedding in March 2014, and I think it's a testament to the experience that folks, such as myself, are still writing positive reviews from years ago. From start to finish, it was truly a pleasure working with the team there. We still get comments on how great our food was. Much has already been said about the food, but what I appreciated most was the overall experience working with Adriana (Adri), who was our main contact at the time. It's been a few years now (and not sure if she's still there), but the two big things that still stand out to me: 1. Creativity - we implemented a game during our reception that made the logistics of the catering more challenging. Adri and team weren't phased at all. She was professional, thoughtful, and creative in helping us not only execute our idea, but also helped us improve on it by clearly communicating what aspects made it challenging and recommending changes that enabled us to implement our idea seamlessly. 2. Attention to detail - The week leading up to any wedding can get a bit hectic, so "little things" can often get overlooked. Another small example of why I felt Jason's exceeded expectations was how immediately after the ceremony, one staff member had been on duty specifically to serve the wedding party snacks and drinks. Everyone in the wedding party was starving and this gave us just enough food (and liquor) to power through till the dinner reception. Fantastic place. Thank goodness Santa Ana is trying to create an upscale downtown. We sat on the patio and had the heater turned on. Just perfect. Ordered the Kalbi Beef Skewer, absolutely fantastic. Trio of Hummus, very tasty apps. Entree, We split the Rib Eye, prepared medium and had a Jason's Salad with Chicken. The chicken was a little dry, thought they were roasted rosemary potatoes for a second since it was dark. Wine list was nice, good selection by the glass, about 2-4 of each varietal. Didn't ask for a captains list since I was the only one drinking and did not want to temp myself, but I assume they have one since it has wine cellar in the name. Bathroom sinks are cool, until some drunks break it trying to turn them on. Music was soothing jazz. Bartender, Sara served us, did fantastic, for handling the bar, cocktail tables, which were full and coming outside for just our little 3 top all the while making cocktails for the guest in the restaurant. So 4 out of 5, because the chicken was dry and we didn't get the hot rolls until we were finished with our entrees. Definitely give this place a try, and my mom lives half a block away so I can always stumble there, pass out and wake up with my laundry washed, folded and breakfast hot and ready. read more

I've heard good things about Jason's so i decided to take two of my cousins there for dinner. We ordered the Calamari, the ribeye, rack of lamb and shepherds pie. The calamari was ok. i think Iiked the onions and red peppers more than the calamari itself. The ribeye was something that you could have done at home since you didn't taste much seasoning. Sear it on a pan and bake it in the oven and you pretty much have Jason's Ribeye. The rack of lamb was good because I prefer it saltier. The mashed potatoes were really good and the veggies was so so. I'm a carnivore! I didnt try the Shepherd's Pie but my cousin said it was ok but his face said otherwise. hahaha For dessert, we had the carrot cake and the red velvet. They were alright. It wasn't too sweet which was good. Seemed very plain though. I'm big on customer service and Stever, our waiter, was great. As pricey as the food was, I'm willing to give Jason's another chance because of service. It's a very chill place and cool to get to know someone or just relax though. Try it out, I might have gone on a bad night and I'm willing to reevaluate later. read more

I just had my sons wedding and I can't tell you how fantastic Jason's was. The food was amazing. Seriously everything from the hors d'oeuvres, to the main course was delicious. Most important thing at a wedding. Food food, food. Service was exceptional, very professional and very attentive. We had mini chicken pot pies, little grilled cheese shooters with tomato soup and pot stickers. Wow! Delicious. Salad with honey mustard dressing fresh and perfect temperature. Main course was steak, chicken, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Fantastic. Food was hot. So important. I would give six stars if I could. Thank you, Jason. Great job read more

Jason's Catered Events is the best ever! Highly Highly Recommend. The team is a testament to solid professionalism coupled with quality service and incredible tasting food with the best ingredients. We used them for our wedding in Nixon Library. We chose them over White House Catering without trying White House Catering first. After Nixon Library's open house, we were able to taste White House Catering vs Jason's Catered Events. We are so happy we made the RIGHT DECISION!!! Jason's Catered Events tasted better for us than White House Catering. Although WHC have complicated designs, JCE's food tasted waaaaay better! Everyone in our wedding loved the food! Adri was our point of contact during our wedding prep and she was great! She's best to contact through email. She was fast, efficient, and really knows her work. read more
