The sandwich ordered by my daughter must have been good. She ate every bite of it. Our granddaughter was pleased with her Kid's Grilled Cheese Sandwich. She especially enjoyed the ice cream. My wife and I each had the salad bar, which was excellent - as always. We had very different salads and were very happy with our choices. This was my first time eating at this location. It is definitely family-friendly. I observed many families coming in to dine-in the entire time I was there. It is very spacious and seems to have more volume of customers than the other locations I have visited. The food was fresh and delicious. I took pictures of our food. Very disappointed. Salad bar hadn't been refreshed and fresh items were browning. Others were very dry. The canned items seemed fine. There weren't many options. I ordered via Door Dash so I can't speak to the ambience or service at Jason's, but I generally enjoyed my Reuben sandwich and gumbo. I will say for "seafood" gumbo I only received a few baby shrimp throughout, but the overall flavor was decent. The Reuben sandwich had plenty of corned beef but was skimpy on the dressing which made the overall sandwich read dry. Overall, I think the meal could've been a 5/5 if I was there dictating how my sandwich was made. What to get turned off eating at restaurants fir a while? Just walk into this Jason's deli after 8pm. The place was a disaster! How could anyone eat in here?!? There were 18 plus tables left with all the leftovers just sitting there. The floor was dirty and the salad bar was disgusting. We came in to order food after a baseball game and I almost decided to leave. My family was hungry so we ordered and as they went they went back to the car to wait I stayed and watched them make our food. Looking around I just knew I could not let my family eat the food if I wasn't at least sure it was made as cleanly as possible. The food prep was ok... it was good that I could watch what they were doing and that I could se the whole area... or there as no way I would have gotten food from this place. If we wanted to eat here we couldn't have... there were no clean tables to eat at! Seriously! And there were people just sitting in here eating like everything was ok. This is a good Jason's Deli and has a bigger open inside than others. Like that atmosphere. My buddy and I came for lunch. Lots of choices on the menu. I had the "managers special" 1/2 Reuben sandwich and cup of chili. My friend had a salad and spicy seafood gumbo. Both of us liked our meals. Normally you get free ice cream, but the machine was broken. They gave us a couple of tiny chocolate chip cookies. Friendly service. You order and pay at the counter, they give you a number to put on your table, and they come out with the food. Self service soft drinks here. Went here for a to go lunch on a Friday afternoon. We ordered pickup through the website and it was really easy! We walked in and were helped almost immediately and the food was ready. There is a separate counter for pick up food so that was great! Would definitely consider sitting in since it was a nice and big restaurant. We all ordered 3 different things. The first was a manager's special with half a Santa Fe chicken sandwich, the baked chips and the fire roasted tortilla soup. The sandwich was great and they accommodated all changes. Chips were meh but the soup was amazing!! The second meal was a whole Santa Fe sandwich with the regular chips with was great as well The last meal was a managers special with a bigger better blt, regular chips and Mac and cheese. It has been a while since I had been back to Jason's deli but I really enjoyed my food and experience here recently!! I ordered the chicken panini with chips and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. It was all really good!! I thought it was kind of expensive for what I got compared to similar restaurants who serve similar options. It was really great to try again though. They had plenty of seating as well in the inside. We dined in and I didn't realize they have free ice cream. That was really fun seeing customers get their ice cream on a cone or in a bowl. I always forget about Jason's deli but it has such great healthy options that I need to keep it on my radar more. We stopped in for lunch today. I try to eat mostly plant based so I was searching for vegetarian type options and there were a couple. I tried the zucchini grillini and my friend ordered a chicken caesar salad. I really enjoyed the sandwich... wish they would offer whole grain bread as an option but the multi grain was pretty good. My friend enjoyed her salad. I would have ordered a salad but every one available (at least on their paper menus which may be a subset of their normal menu) came with meat on it. I wish they had a veggie only salad available and maybe they do already on their regular menu (I did not take time to check on that). They deliver drinks to your table and they have arrows and social distancing in the dining area. They also seem to clean a table prior to you being seated. I enjoyed my lunch... oh, I also ordered a side of steamed vegetables with the sandwich and those were very good. Tiny bit of crunch... just like I like them. I am so glad that I ordered online today because I noticed that they now have new potato chip flavor options. In addition to the Plain kettle chips and the plain baked chips, they now offer BBQ kettle chips and Jalapeno Pepper potato chips. I plan on trying both but today I got the Jalapeno Pepper. It's in the north point mall area next to Chico's. There is ample parking and they have designated "to go" parking right in front of the door! Sweet! Openly sighed when I asked to change my sandwich to a managers special so I could get fruit as a side - my son decided to change from a chocolate milk to an orange juice while we were still ordering and he cut me off to say my son can't do that - when I asked if it was OK he didn't respond to me and wouldn't even look at me (took him all of 10 seconds to remove the chocolate milk and add the OJ).
