I tried this new location today and got the chicken salad sandwich on wheat bread. It was pretty good and the bread was fresh and tasty. It doesn't seem to have as much as the other location with chip selection or samples of bread, but maybe they'll add more later. I'm gonna say just okay on this place. I give them high marks on quality ingredients and freshness. But the flavor profiles and portions for the price aren't the best. I've been twice now and had both the roasted pepper cheesesteak and Mediterranean madness sandwiches. Both were pretty underwhelming in flavor. The loaves of bread they sell are tiny for the price. Monday Monday can't stand that day but a good lunch can help. Service at this location is good and friendly. Ambiance is sort of like Panera without the free Wifi. Their John's Creek location does have free Wifi however. The restaurant was really sterile feeling with no decor or music and worn out furniture. I got a grilled cheese that had definitely been microwaved. My guess is that they make them in the morning and then heat them in the microwave- bread was so bad. I also got a salad but all the vinaigrette dressing got absorbed by the cardboard bowl they serve it in and it had no flavor at all. Lastly, I got an iced coffee that had so much ice in it, I think I got maybe 6 sips of coffee. It was like cafeteria food, but worse. The BEST Jimmy John's location around this area. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. I've been coming to this location for a few months and they remember my name and specific order every time. They are quick and the inside is clean, including the bathroom. STICK WITH THE SAVORY OPTIONS! There are specific reasons why I don't really like eating commercial cookies: mine are simply better. My husband actually ordered an oatmeal cookie for me without my knowledge. When I experience an oatmeal cookie, I want to taste that delicious oatmeal, pecans and the richness of the vanilla. I don't want to have the evil cousins, (butter and sugar), reach up and grab me by the neck! The first thing I noticed about this cookie was that it was sprinkled with a heavily granulated sugar and I don't want to see sugar on my cookies, EVER. This would be like adding sprinkles to a donut and since I'm not three, it just doesn't appeal to me. I later noticed that it was just very sweet and greasy and that was just too much so I had to throw it out. The butter actually upstaged every other ingredient and that is only acceptable if you are eating a butter cookie. My husband noticed the greasiness in his chocolate chip cookie as well and I sense that it too is headed for the trash bin. Their bread pudding is one of my favorite treats but this was my first time ordering it from this location. This time, it was not that rich brown color, it was not as moist and it had a higher density, like play-dough. It was actually disappointing. Finally, I would like to see them refine the process they use to prepare their cinnamon bread. I just don't like biting into granulated sugar, it's like eating sand and I just can't! Perhaps they need to use a lighter sugar that will actually dissolve and become one with the cinnamon like a deliciously prepared cinnamon roll. Again, I don't want to feel the texture of sugar (grit), in my mouth. Ewww! This review has nothing to do with customer service which was great and it does not have anything to do with their savory options. They obviously excel when it comes to baking bread but they need to work more on their sweets. read more

[TL;DR] the bread is amazing and fantastic. skip the grilled chicken if you're going the panini route though. it's rubbery and gross like it came out of a frozen bag. this a treat to the neighborhood. the breads made here are dense and delicious like it came out of your own bread machine. i tried their grilled cheese sandwich on focaccia. quite delicious. while we were there, we tried a sample of different breads that the counter folks were more than happy to serve. very friendly. that was better than walking through costco on a sunday afternoon. might as well get the coffee, too. it's illy -- and not disappointing at all. read more

I love the muffins and bread variety at Great Harvest. In fact, the cinnamon bread is to die for and my son loves the pumpkin chocolate muffins. It's also fun when they offer samples so you have a chance to test a few things out. The one issue I have is that in the mornings it's a skeleton crew. Usually when I walk in someone is in the back doing something and it's always a "I'll be right with you." It's never quick and if there is a customer in front of you then you're in for a wait. It's also frustrating that (at least on weekday mornings) their supplies of breakfast choices are slim. It feels like every time I am in there I have a single muffin to choose from and I'm told "more are coming in front then other location". Yum! Every bread I've tried here is delicious, they really have something for everyone - gluten free, low carb, sweet and savory! I had the Tuscan chicken panini and while it's not what you typically might expect (not greasy and squished into a panini maker), it is delicious! The focaccia bread it's on is a perfect mix.
