I used the mobile app to place an order at 1130 am on 10/7/25. I requested pickup for 1pm. I arrived at 1245 and there were over 25 customers all standing around the counter waiting for their orders and a few waiting to place an order. I heard some customers mention the short staffed location had an overflow or catering orders and the folks standing here had been waiting for a long time. Orders were being called out very slowly and it was too loud to hear the names being called out. There was no designated space for the simple pickup of mobile orders anywhere at all! I waited 30 minutes and then just called into the store to get an update. It took several calls to get through and I was told my order would be ready soon. I waited another 20 minutes and called again. I saw many potential customers walk in and walk right back out. Great place for lunch. I got a corn beef sandwich and it was enough for two people. The marbled rye bread was delicious (I could just eat the bread). Their prices are a bit absurd, but the food quality is great! The Garden Fresh Turkey is a favorite! Don't get the pick 2 tho... it's not worth the price. I also didn't love that they still had the fall menu up, but when I went to order it I was told that they don't serve it anymore. The food is good, but there are many things wrong with the Roswell location. Everytime i come i see 2 young lady's running around like crazy going to the back or not helping in the front. I saw this little man i think his name was Matt sending the girls to go to the back to do something and I was waiting for 15 min for someone to take my order. (This has happened to me before but a tall manager named Zack helped me out and gave me a free drink, but he was actually busy when i went in) This has happened at total of 3 times i've gone to visit and the person that handled it the worst was the short manager, he had horrible customer service and an attitude. God Bless his Heart and body, he needs it because he stinks like Alcohol!!! The person who ended up taking my order was a young hispanic girl. She was very sweet and very quick when she saw me. She made sure my food came out and made sure i was taken care of for real. She was very sweet but the wait time was not it, she tried to help me 2 before the 15 min and all the shirt man told her was "Are the dishes done" while he was complaining on the phone!!!! This is so inappropriate and I hope the GM looks for the real problem on his or her hands because it seems they're never there in order to solve the issues with customers. I hate coming here and seeing the little amount of work that man does, and the main reason I come is for cookies for my child and 1 meal i can share with him. The amount of time i waste there is insane for how empty it is. 20+ min for a simple choose 2 and 2 cookies... we enjoy our days together at McAlisters but recently it's been unorganized and chaotic this makes me never want to go back to their NEW location.. I was prepared to not like this place. It's probably due to two reasons: First, it's become increasingly difficult to expect a whole helluva lot of from any franchise/chain restaurant these days (especially in Atlanta where the lackluster quality is matched by the dreadful service). Second, my idea of a great sandwich spot is based on amazing independent delis and diners up north. Still, we were hungry, not in the mood for fast food, and in the mood for sandwiches...so we came here. I gotta say, I was not disappointed! The menu was interesting, the prices were reasonable, the service was good, the portions were fair, and the quality was a few notches above "not too bad." Always great service and they have a good amount of different items on the menu - several soups, tons of sandwich options, baked potatoes and misc appetizers. One of those places that you go months without visiting and then when you do, you always wonder why you stayed away so long. Of course the signature tea is still one of the best reasons to visit. We had the Roast Beef and cheese sandwich with potato salad; sandwich was a bit small but very good, potato salad, meh. Had that sweet taste that tends to permeate "ordered" v. homemade. We also ordered the Reuben. Old stand-by. Big sandwich and tasty, but had that error that you see a lot in places that keep their corned beef in water - the bottom slice of rye was completely soaked. This isn't the first time I've fell for this, shame on me? I could count on my hands the number of cheese strands and protein they added. They are intentionally using large plastic bowls to create a confused perspective on how much salad they are getting. I contacted them via social media, they saw my messages via Instagram. So I wait patiently by them, there was only one girl behind the counter and she made eye contact and looks into the kitchen so I figure a few minutes more no biggie. Then I noticed a bag tied up behind the counter and now there are customers coming in. Then this kid waltz's in checks in, walks around and washes his hands. He goes over to the bag reads the tag.
