We stopped into this Jasons deli for lunch around 1230 on a Friday afternoon, the place is fairly clean, the salad bar was well stocked in the food came out fast. The only reason they got -one star, is because there was a table that we wanted to sit at that sat full of dirty dishes until you were done with our meal. We stopped by to try it, even though the reviews on food safety seemed scary. I thought I would go in and see what it looked like. Unlike the other reviews here, everyone handling food was wearing gloves. The person taking orders was pretty non talkative but our order was taken correctly. The food was fantastic. Very nice and clean! Chicken alfredo is yummy, I don't care for the chicken in it but the sauce is great. My husband had the sand which called Amy's turkey o and he enjoyed it! Service is so nice!!! We ordered a group lunch a few weeks ago and I ordered the Veggie Sandwich. It was a half sandwich with mushrooms...They did put cheese on the side. Not lettuce, tomato, pickle or any sauce. This was my first and last time to eat here. I don't know why but the girl taking my order was clearly displeased to be waiting on me. She was abrupt, unsmiling, unhelpful. My opinion of her and this restaurant certainly did not improve when she handed me 14 nickels in change - no quarters, no dimes and no apology for doing so. Also, although I was handed a printed menu, no one explained why. I ordered from the menu board. There's this girl that usually works drive thru, her name is Jennifer and has pretty green eyes. I come to Jason'a often and I noticed she hasn't been working, I asked an employee and turns out she quit. I honestly don't feel Jason's no more, like I use to get exceptional customer service but I just feel Jason's lost their best employee. I mostly go to Jason's for sandwiches but ever since Jennifer isn't there I'm considering subway. Utterly disappointed. read more

I have always enjoyed Jason's Deli. This particular one needs some guidance in dining room sanitation which has to also lead to the same behind the line. I watched an employee bus tables all he would do was remove the dishes and trash. No wipe down of the tables & chairs. When questioned he stated that he had a method to clean tables. Meanwhile I watched people sit at dirty tables with their food. We also found it hard to find a table that wasn't dirty. Floors in the food prep area were covered in soapy water. So when I am in town at lunch I have found that Jason's deli is a place where I can eat a heathy lunch. This Jason's is well run. Service is fast and courteous. The food is hot and the place is clean. It is a very busy Jason's. They do a great lunch business but with that said they are serve in a reasonable amount of time. I usually get the mangers special. Half a California with a cup of gumbo. Comes with choice of fruit. With drink runs about 10 bucks. read more

So I went through the drive thru to get myself and my 3 kids lunch today. First thing I noticed was they didn't ask upon taking orders what kind of side or drink the kids wanted but I noticed on the order screen it said chips and Apple juice so whoever took our order just assumed. She did the same for my order with fruit instead of chips. I requested a large tea and at the window the manager was handing the order to me and gave me a smaller tea. I questioned if it was a large and he said no and took it back. I verified on my receipt I did order a large. But i thought No biggie - they made it right and were very busy. I left and got on the road trying to pass out my kids food and noticed one of the kids meals were missing. I went back and had to get out to go in and ask for my other kids meal (with my receipt). The to go order girl went and told the manager. He came around the corner and informed me he packed my order himself and that I had all of my food??!! I replied "I don't know really what to say but I don't have it." So he proceeded to follow me out to my car to inspect my bags himself. I had to have my daughter pass me the food she had already begun eating and the whole bag on her lap for him to rummage thru with his hands. Then when he didn't find the other chicken nuggets he then said "well it's in another one of your bags then" so I had passed him all of the bags we were given and he looked thru them all. He then reluctantly stated he would go get me more. I told him it was offensive to be made to feel like a liar and he yelled "o calm down ma'am" to which I said "don't tell me to call down I am explaining how you made me feel" and he loudly and angrily replied "I just did (tell you to calm down)" so I asked him if he was the manager to which he said "yes I am" so I asked him for his name and he leaned forward and stated "ELKIN- do you need my card!?" To which I replied "no thanks I got it" and he said "have a good day" and i said "Um, I am waiting on my food" to which he yelled "you got your food" and walked back into the store. He never came out with food and I had to go get my child something else. I will NEVER Never NEVER recommend this location or especially customer service like this! I spoke to a representative from Jason's Deli and she was so kind and understanding. All of this over some silly chicken nuggets! Hopefully he will be let go so the customers and likely employees aren't treated so poorly!! read more

Went to the pre-opening preview and ordered to-go for 2. The restaurant was very clean which is to be expected as it is brand new, the staff members were all very friendly and the food was great. Got the chicken Alfredo which was quite yummy and even my very picky 4 year old enjoyed. We also got the California Club which was also good. I will definitely be coming back once they open officially and will recommend to others. They also have a drive thru which is a definite plus. read more

Met here for lunch before attending a funeral. We were able to pull several tables together and the staff made sure to clear plates away, and help with making sure we were taken care of. I don't like how the employees treated me and my family. When we went inside the store, the cashier greeted us very rudely . We were very kind and the cashier decided to ignore our greeting. When it was time for our food to be delivered, he gave us the wrong food. So we tried explaining that this was the wrong order and he constantly kept arguing with us. We were at Academy Sports so decided to stop in for a quick lunch around 1:30pm on a Sat. Not a lot of customers but everything was dirty and completely understaffed. One order taker being trained by another person who also wasn't familiar with the menu. Only one person delivering food. The first salad bar plate I was given was dirty. If we hadn't had kids with us who were ready to eat I would have walked out before my order came. Every booth was dirty. We snagged the only clean table top. No one came around to clean tables until we had been there 30 minutes and getting ready to leave. read more

A fan of Jason's deli in college station. This was a nice size and modern . (Salad bar seemed smaller than what I recall at other location). Small wait to order. Place was half empty but every empty table was filthy and most covered still with dishes. There was a large soda spill under one table that had been there a bit. Also ran out of lettuce on bar. Quality and Taste of food hit the spot. For price, quality and quantity beats Panera hands down. While one noted issue is not Jason's fault, but the latest generation has never heard of the concept of moving with haste. The kid cleaning would have taken an hour to clean if the manager didn't step out and start cleaning. read more

Went today for lunch and this place was gross. Every table was dirty and stayed dirty the whole time we ate there. The food prep sandwich area was also not appealing and just looked sloppy. There were tons of flys in the dinning room and garbage around the drink area. This is very disappointing because I have always loved Jason's Deli at other locations. They built a beautiful restaurant but are not taking care of it. Very sad. I hope they can fix there cleanliness issues. read more

The new location in Conroe was very professional and clean. And now the cons: 1. Salad bar appears smaller than other locations. Didn't like the muffins in a separate location with dressings. 2. You can clearly see the kitchen help pouring soup from plastic bags that it's shipped in. 3. Tomato soup tasted like marinara sauce. 4. Potato soup lacked flavor. 5. Had a Cuban type sandwich and salad. Sandwich was not the typical large half sandwich you use to seeing from Jason's. Overall I was disappointed with the whole experience. Jason's has always been known for large sandwiches and tasty soups. I feel like they are too commercial now and don't feel the whole deli experience any longer. When I forgot to order something I called inside and the girl that answered the phone said she could not add anything to my existing order and if I wanted to place an order I would have to get my order then get back into the LONG drive through line and get my additional order. We have eaten at many Jason's Deli's around the area. The outside looked nice. We are here at 5 on a Wednesday. They are not busy at all. The cashier was friendly. Others behind the counter were friendly also. Then I stepped out of the line. It looked like they hadn't cleaned up since the lunch rush. Many tables with dirty dishes, food under and around the tables. Outside also had several tables with dirty dishes attracting birds. This was surprising for Jason's Deli because I normally see 1-3 people always cleaning up tables and floors. Our food took a little longer than expected, but overall was ok and orders were correct. The amount of dirty tables and food everywhere was really disappointing though. read more
