Our family outing with a party of eight was on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was packed. We had called ahead to alert them to our large party, and they were ready when we arrived. The dining rooms were filled with people, so it was quite loud, but we managed to have a great time celebrating our grand-daughter's birthday. The food was quite tasty and consistent with my expectations. The Carbonara with shrimp and chicken was delicious, as was the chicken parm. The salad was plentiful, with our bowl filled often. We thought that they offered a 3-7 special, but it is actually until 3pm. Gisell was our server and she handled the mixup really well. The soup & salad was typical...good. As much grated Parmesan cheese as you want fresh grated over the salad. The chicken parmigiana was just right, as was the eggplant parmigiana. Just don't come here. They don't have a full service bar, as they can't make dirty martinis and their drafts are out of order. We ordered one appetizer, two bottled beers for my husband and I had one cocktail, but in the middle of the night I fell very ill, and have been unable to keep even water down. Seems like some cross contamination took place during our visit, or past due ingredients were used. Regardless, I will never be back to this location. The bar area looked like it needed a deep clean, but the worst part is that damp, likely bacteria ridden, wash cloths were left by the register on a bar top next to all of the liquor bottles. What appeared to be the manager, would touch them then proceed to make drinks without hand washing. You can tell the staff and management do not care about the customers. read more

Unwilling to refund an overcharge for a transaction. I had lunch with a friend. We split the bill. We used the kiosk machine that sits on the table, to pay our bill. I was charged three times for my meal. I had soup and salad. That $8.99 on their lunch menu. I had funds pending on my bank account for $11.73 (which is the only transaction authorized) another $11.73 AND another transaction for $22.26. What??!!! After multiple calls to the restaurant manager, I was refunded the two lowest charges. Keep in mind, only one of those $11.73 charges was the actual approved charge I authorized for my meal. Proof being the signed receipt I have. The highest charge, which was not authorized or approved, was not reversed. Olive Garden is greedy and hires incompetent personnel who can not review their financial records for accuracy. And who are unwilling to do their due diligence when problems occur. And further make amends even when proof (an actual receipt) is had to back up accusations. I finally decided to give up as it was a waste of my time and they were certainly not interested in making things right for me. I will never go back to that location and it will be a very long time before I go to any other Olive Garden for that matter. I will never use their kiosk that sits on the table to pay my bill again, ever. If I could give no stars I would. Olive Garden is dishonest and untrustworthy. read more

Went to olive garden after church with a large party. As someone that works in food service, large parties are totally a trouble to seat however, the problem with this location is that we were not correctly informed of the wait time. When we first arrived we were told 30 minutes and that section was available but they were waiting to clear one table, thats fine. After an HOUR of waiting and seeing other tables be sat that also were groups, we asked for the wait tim again and were told 20-30 minutes and then were further told that the original wait time was actually 1hr 30mins... that is not what we were told. Due to other commitments in the group later in the day, multiple people left during the wait and we all ended up going to a different restaurant; a Chinese place that I absolutely adore, so personally, a win in my books. I love olive garden and a few people in The party were greatly looking forward to some pasta, so it is certainly disappointing that the poor service led to this outcome. If any management is reading this: Once again, as someone who works in food service, I would maybe just ask the staff to practice more open communication to the customers. Usually when going to a place, serves inform party's of the MAX wait time, this location clearly just lied to us In order to get us to stay, or maybe that the servers and the FOH had a lack of communication, thus the wait time was far longer than originally thought of. read more

Location: 3041 I45 N, Conroe TX My husband and I go to this location often. The service is usually good. This time it was not. Our waitress was Merideth. Instead of tending to our table she kept going to another part of the restaurant that didn't have guest and sat and chatted with other employees while also on her phone. We had to ask other waitstaff to help us refill drinks and for other assistance. She was not attentive to her tables at all. I walked over to use the restroom and found that she just kept going back to sit with her coworkers and hang out on her phone. I did make management aware just as we were leaving. read more

I got the pasta station buffet for ten people. My guests loved it and I loved the convenience. Portions were very large and I had ample leftovers. It came with serving spoons and tongs. Super bad smell in the Conroe Texas location. Will not be back as concerned for health issues associated with the odor. Thought the smell would go away, it did not. Either a sewage or water leak, mold, whatever it is it's not okay to be inhaling that. Concerned for the workers. Looked up to realize the bench was completely filthy. I've added a photo so you can see for yourself. The bench is suppose to be beige, not black! Plates had black on them and my daughter refused to use them. Overall dirty and gross. Well we went in at 11:00 when restaurant opened. Got seated and then went to restroom to wash hands and use restroom after being on the road 3 1/2 hrs. DISGUSTING!!! Looked like the floor hadn't been mopped in days! ( my grandfather was in restaurant business and always said "if the bathrooms are dirty, so is the kitchen"). Should've left. Went ahead and ordered. Our waitress was very nice and did a great job by the way. I questioned the manager because my spaghetti and meatballs tasted like shrimp. He claims the shrimp is at the other end of the table from meatballs. I asked if maybe the pasta was boiled in a pot of water that had been used for shrimp and he said no. I eat at Olive Gardens all over Texas and have never had spaghetti and meatballs taste like shrimp. read more

I couldn't let this go. Normally we get really good food from here. We always order for curbside pickup at least every other week. We've had a few mistakes in our orders before which we just let go but this time I was super not happy. I ordered shrimp scampi, the picture of the meal looked great. When I removed our meals from the bag I noticed a bowl full of noodles. This meal actually came with 5 tiny shrimp with hardly anything else but noodles. I spent $17 on a bowl of noodles. Customer service was terrible three employees were at the host stand preoccupied when my party arrived. All three employees looked up from what they were doing, looked at my party and then looked back down at what they were doing. After waiting for a while for the employees to finish what they were doing I had to ask if they were the ones responsible for seating us. At that time one of the three finally sat my party.
