Jason's, you should really be ashamed! I was in tonight and ordered the quarter Mufaletta and what I got was a pice of turkey and olive salad. What happened? Are times getting that bad? This is beyond unacceptable! This is straight trash! I am so disappointed. This is my favorite meal at Jason's and to have it look like an anorexic version of its former self is disappointing. The turkey was dry and tasted old. I would've brought it back if I wasn't so far away. My dog seemed to enjoy it. I didn't. The gumbo was good though. Nasty, employee working salad bar (which is what we ordered) was restocking and cleaning while holding her cell phone in one hand. Then when she was making a takeout or Uber Eats pick up salad still on her phone. She placed her phone in the top part of the Togo tray so she could make the salad. It's fall! My husband and I were looking for a place to have soup so we stopped at Jason's Deli. The restaurant is spacious with booths and tables and dim lighting. We ordered two fire roasted tortilla soups. It was flavorful but not spicy as suggested. We could've used a little more kick but we will definitely get it again. The cashier gave us a number for our table. As soon as we put it down, our food was brought to us by a staff member. She didn't just drop it off and swiftly leave before we could see what we had. She made sure we had everything we needed. Sure enough, we asked for cheese and two bags of blue corn tortilla chips. Within a minute, she brought it to us along with a new receipt showing the adjustment to our bill. For two, we ate for $20, got free ice cream, and experienced excellent customer service. Asked for an avocado hoagie (I'm from the North), and dude said he could make it for me. I asked if he had a sourdough role, he said no just sourdough sliced bread. So I said cool. I was hungrier than a hostage, so I was looking forward to the sandwich! Maaaaan, there was about a 1/2 teaspoon of avocado plopped atop the lettuce, onions and tomatoes. Today I received the absolute worst delivery order ever! Ordered a salad and 1/2 pastrami sandwich that was supposed to contain an abundance of salad items of my choosing and 8 ounces of pastrami. The customer service is HORRENDOUS! I went into this establishment on Sunday around 5:30 on July 16th and the young lady at the register was the most unfriendliness cashier I have ever met. This was not my first time being served by her and every time it was the same nasty attitude! No greeting at all and she stares at you until you tell her what you would like to order. She never opens her mouth and you have to make sure to say, "that's it" to complete your order because the whole time she's not speaking. I ended up getting a refund because the salad bar was empty. I don't usually complain to a manager, but today was the day! That girl is horrible and she's chasing customers away with her funky attitude. If I go back and see her at the register, I'm walking out. It's a shame this one bad apple can ruin it for the entire restaurant. She needs professional development in customer service. I knocked on the window and asked how long it would be and once again was told nothing and waited another 9 minutes before my order was given to me.
