Placed an online order and had a pickup time of 11:37 am. FINALLY got my order at 12:15 with an extra side of SASS and RUDENESS. The order was NOT COMPLETE and when I brought it to the attention of the counter lady, she had an attitude. When trying to confirm with them that an item would be left off of a sandwich due to ALLERGIC REACTIONS I was spoken to in an unprofessional tone and manner. I do love the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich. The prices just hurt. Jason, check your ice cream cones - they were stale and chewy. Friday my car was in the shop longer than I expected it to be, I had to make a conference call so I walked in to Jason's Deli and asked the woman at the front if it was okay if I bought a coffee and did so, she said of course. I ended up spending the majority of the day there, camped out with my computer, an order of the salad bar and a coffee. The six hours that I was there, the woman up front, who's name is Stephanie was phenomenal at making me feel comfortable and making my work day a thousand times less stressful than I thought it would be, she was even nice enough to watch my table while I used the restroom. All I can say, is I'm glad the library was closed which made me walk to Jason's Deli while Stephanie was working. I come to this Jason's Deli all the time. The customer service is usually pretty good. Today, there was a lady at the register who I have never seen. Seems to be a manager or something. Never acknowledged me. Was just extremely rude and ugly. The people in the back saw me standing there and came around the corner to look to see if she was even there. This is officially the worst Jason's Deli we've ever been to. Our family loves Jason's Deli and we have an excellent one in Cypress. However, we were in the area and decided to stop by this location. What a mistake! The service was incredibly slow, unresponsive, and no one who worked here cared about anything. The salad bar had several items empty (croutons, cornbread, boiled eggs, chocolate mousse, pasta salad) and not once while we sat there for an hour did anyone even check the salad bar. These items remained empty the entire time. The tomatoes were also rotten, mushy, and sour. I adore Jason's tuna salad, but this locations is awful! It was so dry (lacked mayo), very fishy with lots of dark meat, and so peppery I couldn't eat it. Such a disappointing visit considering we have never had an issue with any Jason's Deli before! If you go on Google and read the lowest stars review, it's due to the manager customer service. Jason's Galleria westheimer I order from the galleria location usually once sometimes twice a week it's always consistent but today I had a roast beef French dip sandwich that was beyond compare. The Ajou was delicious. The sandwich was loaded with good roast. Beef and good warmed, melted cheese over it, it was excellent. Also, I enjoyed their seafood gumbo, tender chili. I have not been disappointed ever they always are called in my order or send it in online and it's always ready on time schedule. Food is typically on point, I come here pretty regularly. They are clearly suffering from the labor shortage and doing their best. My gripe is that they can't seem to figure out a system for the line while the cashier's are painfully slow. You walk in and you're instantly in a crowd of people who have no idea where the line starts. Cashier's do nothing to help and everyone starts their experience there incredibly irritated, regardless of how the food tastes. Also, while not a big dollar difference... It is incredibly unethical to say the price is one number and then charge a different amount. I've brought this up to a cashier on my list visit... Today I was charged $9.09 for something on the menu at $8.79 (managers special). You should care about ripping off your customer even if it's only 5%. I am giving this visit a 2 star review because of poor customer service. I am a regular here and generally have had good experiences. However, today was different. I ordered a bowl of chicken pot pie and a sandwich. Not until after I paid did the lady at the counter tell me that they were out of to-go bowls and that I would be receiving two cups of soup instead. I immediately told her that I wish she would have told me that before paying. She smirked and responded, " you're actually getting more." That is totally beside the point. I should start by saying I've probably been to every Jason's location in the city. With that said, this is the worst one I've been to. The customer service was decent, but the product not so much: The salad bar was not stocked. The coffee was cold. However when I asked the waitstaff to refresh the coffee, they did it immediately. When I looked at other areas of the salad bar, it was out of too many things to just be swept under the carpet. The lettuce mix looked old, they didn't have other items stocked, I attempted to ask a wait staffer a question, but she didn't understand English... I'm within walking distance to this restaurant. I made sure to order online, pay and wait for confirmation to pick up my lunch. 25 minutes later I arrive and I'm STILL waiting. When I walked in, I was greeted by a girl who currently does not have on a name tag! She asks "may I help you" and I let her know that I was here to pick up my online order. She explained to me that she heard computer BEEP, but chose to ignore it and later forgot to put the order in so they can make it and it would only take a few moments to be ready. I work nearby, so I frequently order lunch from here. The main reason I am able to eat here is because they offer gluten free bread. They have always toasted their gluten free bread, but lately, they don't anymore. I ordered to go and when I got ready to eat my sandwich, I noticed that they did not toast the gluten free bread. So I called and asked to speak to the manager. I kindly explained to her that gluten free bread must always be toasted, otherwise, it's pretty much inedible. She was very rude and unhelpful. Even so, I gave them another chance. It has happened multiple times now and I am never going back. There are plenty of other sandwich places that offer gluten free bread, thankfully. read more

If you just want to fight with a customer who is already unhappy, JUST DON'T CALL. And, truly, it may all be my fault. I may be - and obviously am - expecting too much. Thinking they would be able to explain how their ordering system works in clear English was ludicrous of me. The food is always delicious. Every single time. I just tried the spicy seafood gumbo and yes, sis, it is amazing! And I N.E.V.E.R. purchase gumbo from a restaurant. After 10 minutes of waiting, I asked the lady behind the counter to check to see if my bag was one of the 3 that were ready to go behind her. My food had been sitting there the entire time. When I asked why they did not give me my order she said "because she thought I had not paid for it yet." The female cashier knew I had paid but still let me stand there waiting.
