My wife thought her creamy potato soup was pretty good and she loved the hummus and pita bread....I concurred on both her items. I thoroughly enjoyed a cafe trio. The half classic salad....house was my pick, half a handheld....i picked a BLT, a cup of soup...I picked the chicken orzo. I guess I loved them 'cause my plates were clean.

I haven't been to Cafe Express in a long time, I always forget about it as an option. I was craving soup leaving the gym and was hoping for a light option. The cafe has a very open dining room and patio seating. It was a little chilly, so we dined inside. The cashier was very friendly and helpful with menu questions. We had chicken orzo soup and the shrimp skewer with broccoli and spinach. Everything was flavorful and fresh. The broth of the soup was delish and I was actually surprised how many vegetables were included. I particularly appreciated the salad/soup garnishes they have by the fountain drinks along with lemons and mint. It was a relaxing, nice dinner and atmosphere. I will try to keep Cafe Express on my radar.

Good and clean eating! Mediterranean/ Greek forward style flavored dishes. Food tastes as if no chemicals were used to enhance flavor. No frills interior. I didn't realize how important background music can be and help set the vibe! This restaurant had none! Very quiet surroundings. I ordered food at the register and they brought the food to my table when food was ready. Fountain drinks and tea drinking options. The jewel is the small condiment area which consisted of olives, pickles and other small condiments you can add to your salad and or any dish you choose. Overall I spent about $26 for two people. I would try again!

Café Express has become a quick and convenient dinner option for me. They're open until 10 pm which is so helpful because I can stop by after my gym class and not be in a rush. The online order system is straightforward and easy to use. My food is always ready at the promised time and everything that I've ordered has been very tasty! The portions of most of the entrees are large enough for two meals. They have a variety of options from burgers to pasta, salads, and sandwiches. I've had some of the chicken and salmon dishes and they have all been so delicious! I don't typically dine in, but I did notice that they have a small bar that offers wine and beer. They have HH from 3-6pm daily. On a recent visit, I placed a dinner order to go. When I arrived to pick up the order, the store was closed due to a system outage. The next day I sent an email to corporate and within 24 hours, the manager Sandra replied. She refunded my order and offered a free meal for the trouble. Last night, I went to pick up the free meal. The staff was so nice and I was able to order anything I wanted. I had the Tuscan Amore Pasta with grilled chicken and a side spring salad. It also came with a piece of garlic bread. My meal was so good! I was worried that the staff wouldn't honor the offer as Sandra was not present, but there were no issues. I love good food, but more importantly, I love great customer service! The system outage was out of their control, but management rectified the situation quickly. Thank you, Sandra and staff for a great experience!

Food was hit or miss, had a cafe Trio meal with a chicken pesto sandwich, Mac and cheese and pesto salad. The pesto chicken sandwich tasted good, had all the vegetables and the chicken was tender. Their pasta dishes left a bit to be desired on the flavor profile Mac and cheese the cheese tasted light Pesto pasta also was lacking some flavor. Service was alright, and the dishes came out in a reasonable speed. Ample seating, good parking.

The chicken orzo soup was mainly just broth and 2 pieces of chicken and hardly anything else let alone orzo. The tuna was bland and the salad was not good. Really no flavor and most of the lettuce was wilted like it had been sitting for a while, I ended up leaving and going somewhere else to eat.

I eat here at least once or more every week. I freaking love the Greek chicken salad pita. Fries are nice and crispy. I also love the turkey club. Kettle chips aren't too hard where it kind of hurts from chewing. Salads are large portions. Chicken entrees could be a bit small. Chocolate chip cookies are chewy and loaded with chocolate chips. You can get bacon on the Mac n cheese. They have a pickle/peppers bar as well. Great lunch spot!

Small menu, good food, and very pleasant staff. Fast service too. Soup, salad, sandwiches, and a few hot dishes are their specialty'.

By that point, I was completely put off and declined the replacement. I understand mistakes happen, but cleanliness at a bar should be the bare minimum, especially when it comes to drinkware. I tried to get the man behind the counter to understand that I wanted half a muffaletta, with no mayo. I expressed this in several different ways, because the confused expression on his face indicated that none of it was registering. In the end I gave up and accepted the whole, giant sandwich wheel. It wasn't till I got home that I realized he'd misunderstood more than just the size I was asking for. I can't tell you how much I despise mayonnaise (unless I'm having a BLT, and am thoroughly in charge of the application of the condiment). Why would it even be an option, mayo on a muffaletta? It would be just as ridiculous to have to specify "no ketchup" on one. I don't mean to come off as overly dramatic, here, but that bite was more harmful to me than anything that has ever happened to anyone in the history of humankind. You're probably thinking, "He-LLO . . . Have you seen Schindler's List?" And you may have a point. I sat through that whole film just letting valuable hours pass me right by. But this sandwich thing was even worse. So, after all that bitching, why the five stars, Mike? Because I know it would have been good without the mayonnaise. And because I remember the old Antone's. Not gonna let one assassination attempt ruin that history. I can't go back until I'm completely fluent in Spanish, though. Como se dice "mayo" in espanol?

So when I decided to give Angelo Z's a try, I came in hopeful but ready to judge with the precision of a seasoned shrimp connoisseur. First, I'll give credit where it's due: the place is designed beautifully. Clean, inviting, well thought-out décor. The staff? Top-notch. Friendly smiles, fast service -- the kind of welcome that makes you want to pull up a chair and stay awhile. But then my shrimp po'boy arrived. And that's where things took a turn. The bread was toasted -- yes, toasted -- which, for a Louisiana po'boy, is already a red flag. To make matters worse, it wasn't even the traditional French bread that's light, airy inside, and has that delicate crackle on the crust. Instead, it was a dense, over-toasted loaf that crunched like I was chewing on a roofing shingle. Then came the real deal-breaker: I bit in and realized the shrimp hadn't been deveined. At all. And for anyone who knows seafood, that black line running down the back isn't some "seasoning" -- it's grit and waste. One glance at that and my appetite clocked out. I understand I'm not in Louisiana anymore, and I'm all for creative spins on classics, but there's a line between "putting your own twist" on something and missing the fundamentals altogether. Unfortunately, this missed the mark in a way I couldn't overlook. Beautiful space. Wonderful people. But for me? A shrimp po'boy that isn't deveined, on the wrong bread, and toasted into oblivion isn't a po'boy worth coming back for.
