This is a must try deli & sandwich shop if you're in the Galleria area! I was craving a sandwich so looked up places nearby and stumbled across Murphy's Deli and noticed all the great reviews so figured I'd give it a shot. Upon arrival I was greeted by the owners who were thrilled to see me and gave me a warm welcome! The lady behind the counter was super nice and helped me think about what to get, and around the corner came the owner and he recommended I try a fresh hand shredded chicken wrap made to their spec! I'm not exactly sure what was in it but WOW! That thing was packing a punch of flavor leaving my taste buds screaming and my lips drooling! I devoured it as it was hot fresh and delicious. The chicken was a perfect mix of light and dark and was pulled nice and thin by hand. The veggies were all fresh and the jalapeños were nice a ripe! This thing tasted so good I had to run and tell my friends about it. I can't wait to go back and try the pesto chicken one next time. This is a great place to stop by if you forgot to bring your lunch on a busy work day or if you are around the area and want some fresh food for your body. Situated on the bottom floor of the parking garage of the Williams Tower, Murphy's Deli offers some delicious deli options from sandwiches, to salads, to wraps, and everything else. Our team/group at work got catering from them recently and we were all pleased with the food and experience! The staff/owners are very friendly and they take really good care of their food! We had an order for a dozen different people, and they all got what they wanted with 100% accuracy! We see them all the time and they are busy. Some foods that I've tried there are the Chicken Pesto sandwich, Gyro, French Dip, and Turkey Avocado wrap... all fo them are great choices! read more

My son and I came to check out the waterfalls and were hungry. We walked out of the parking garage and there it was. When we went in, owner was actually closing, but welcomed us in no questions asked even though he had to go to his other shop. Super friendly, sandwiches were great, service was top notch. I have been working in Williams tower for nearly 10 years and eat at this Murphy's regularly. I can honestly say that I haven't had a bad meal, bad service, nor a bad experience at this location over the entire 10 years of being a patron there. Not only is there always a friendly welcome and pleasant ambience upon arriving, they will gladly make custom items or go above-and-beyond to ensure you enjoy your meal. I am not a conventional breakfast person, however they have prepared a wide range of items (BBQ brisket sandwich, muffelata, club sandwich, cheeseburger, etc.) for me as early as 6 AM smiling the whole time! I am thankful this deli is located in Williams tower and hope to continue coming for years to come! read more

if you are near the water wall at williams tower stop in at Muphys for a snack or lunch. Donna puts love into all her meals. It's fabulous food. they are fast friendly with quality fresh food. catering is available. they kept me fed five days a week during covid. now after the storm i seek comfort in their food. I have to admit that I do like the breakfast tacos here, but they can be a hit or miss. They taste great when the tortilla is toasted through and when they actually get your order right. Today, they actually forgot to put egg in my friend's taco. The place wasn't even busy at this time... I'm pretty disappointed. Other instances of taco error was when they added cheese but I specifically told them no cheese. This happened twice. One more thing, my coworkers and I have all agreed that Feras can be pretty rude. He makes comments about our hair, make up, and age. We know he's trying to be friendly, but it comes off as sexist and it makes us uncomfortable. read more

Neighborhood deli vibe right here in our office building! Located on the street level of Williams Tower, this place is easily a go-to for quick, custom-made salads and sandwiches. Don't be afraid to stray from the menu descriptions. They make my salads plus and minus anything and everything that they have, and they do it with friendly and personable service. As can be expected, it can get busy/crowded midday, so be prepared to wait for your lunch. read more

From time I walked in I loved everything!! Everyone was welcoming and very informative even told me about the daily special and if you aren't sure about the sandwich's they even have burgers lol. I got a chicken gyro the tzatziki sauce was so fresh Omg taste so good! The fries were also delicious. Def will come back when I'm visiting Houston! You will never go to another deli once you've tasted the delicious home-cooked meals here! Besides the reasonably priced and generously portioned sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and salads, there is also a daily plate lunch special, with selections like chicken kabobs, homemade lasagna or spaghetti with meatballs, chicken biryani, pork ribs, and today's special, their amazing cabbage rolls. I can't say enough about the kind, friendly and welcoming staff (especially Feras, Donna, and Eddie), and how they treat everyone like family. I ordered a meatball on white, and the guy behind me ordered a meatball on wheat. HE GOT HIS FIRST! Only difference other than the bread, was that the guy behind me was chummy with the sandwich lady. When I confronted her that a line didn't seem to mean anything, she tried to tell me that the order of the bread in her bags meant he got served first. FYI, this review wouldn't exist if she would have just apologized. Convenience is the only thing keeping this place in business because it isn't the food and it certainly isn't the service. read more

Working in the William's Tower, sometimes you just need to find something quick to eat and when your not in the mood to walk to the Galleria food court, Murphy's is your lunch savior. Murphy's is located at the ground level of the Tower below the sky bridge connected the garage and Tower. It's been here since i started at the Tower three years ago and since the beginning of the year, i'ts been my favorite place to go to when in need for a quick, cheap, somewhat healthy deli sandwich. It's really just a hidden gem specifically for the William's Tower residents. This place is just much tastier than going to Subway in the Galleria food court. The quality is better. The manager is super cool and is always there and greets you by name if you're a regular. I'm not a "regular" yet, but i'm sure will be in a couple of months. The rest of the Murphy's crew is very nice and always happy to help craft your own special sandwich. They have also introduced the $5 foot long ala Subway which is my favorite. I gotta take advantage while it lasts. I wonder if people from the Galleria food court going to Subway would make the trip to Murphy? read more

This deli is conveniently located at the floor level in the garages across from Williams Tower. The sandwiches here are pretty standard, Tabouleh is excellent! If I am not in the mood to walk to the Galleria for lunch, I will wander over to enjoy a panini or reuben. Customer service is always great. read more

Here is a very good and fresh food. The Manager Feras it's the best making tacos, his special is Tornado! The owner is Donna, she makes everything fresh and homemade every day. She it's the best doing sandwiches, try the Chicken Delight, its awesome! Also the Late Luncher sandwich it's pretty good. And don't forget to ask about the day special... Every day the staff prepare some special recipes, like on monday the special is Chicken Kabob, with spicy potatoes, fresh hummus, pita bread and tossed salad all homemade! I started working in the Williams tower over a year ago now, and I always look forward to getting my lunches from this place. Feras and Donna, the owners, are super nice and they always bring a smile to my face. What really sets this place apart from other delis are their daily specials. Along with the typical sandwiches, they create affordable, one of a kind meals that taste delicious. For example, every Monday they have the chicken kebab plate, which comes with seasoned potatoes, hummus, salad and pita bread. Other examples are stuffed salmon, chicken drumsticks and lasagna and they usually come with rice/salad/fries/garlic bread depending on the day. I highly recommend this place, both for the great food and the great company! read more

This Murphy's Deli is very convenient for anyone who works in the Williams Tower, but food is very hit or miss. If you go at non-peak hours, then it's likely you will get really good food. But if you happen to go during the breakfast or lunch rush expect to have something wrong with your order - whether they forgot to include something (sometimes even the basic ingredients on the menu) or add extra items you did not request, there is a good choice something will not come out 100% what you expect. Not sure if they just get overwhelmed with the line of people or just don't care to get the orders correct. I have been coming to this location for a year. I have never been disappointed with the food, atmosphere or the people who work here. They are like family to me and will welcome you like they have known you for years. Feras is the kindest and most loving person. He is in no way sexist or rude like the other reviewer said. When I was having difficulties him and his wife assisted me and lended me a shoulder to cry on. I have never heard him in the year I've been coming here make any rude or sexist comments.
