From far away it did not look like much, but once I made my salad, it turned out to be really delicious. I ordered a half sandwich with a side salad, just something simple. The register does not have a screen facing you, so I did not realize I was charged for a full sandwich and a full salad. I honestly thought they were just being generous since it was close to closing. By the time I realized, it was too late. Even with that mix-up, the food itself was so good. The salad was the star. It was fresh, flavorful, and more than enough, especially since you can go back for seconds. The sandwich was good, but not really needed. It was quiet inside, not very busy. There were a few people standing around outside that made me pause, but inside felt calm and comfortable. My wife and I just left the hospital for a test that she had to fast for over 12 hours. Needless to say she was starving and could not wait to get home or get to a restaurant closer to home. So when I saw Jason's Deli and suggested it she almost jumped out of the car. That was a yes!!! The restaurant was pretty empty but the staff treated us excellently. Questions were answered and the food came out to us quickly. We both ordered the Muffuletta combo sandwich since we had a good experience at the Pasadena, TX restaurant. Man we were definitely not disappointed. That speaks volume for the restaurant's standards to be able to hit the mark not only twice but in restaurants far from each other. The combo plate came with our side orders of chips and a soup. The spicy tortilla soup came out hot and spicy. Just how we liked it. The sandwiches were ham and pepperoni with that awesome muffuletta spread. My only regret is that it was only a half sandwich and the taste was sooo good I could have eaten a full sandwich. My wife said don't even think about it as I eyed her portion. The restaurant was impeccably clean and so were the restrooms. Will we go back? Oh yeah!!! I have visited this location many times and other locations too. The food is always consistent and fresh no matter which store I am at. I have dined in and ordered take out and my orders are always correct. Something I really appreciate. I have had sandwiches (beefeater, California club, turkey wrap, chicken salad...), soups (tortilla, chili, broccoli cheese...), salads (nutty chicken salad), and salad bar and they are all yummy. I love how the salad bar is always well stocked and super clean. And don't forget the desert; strawberry shortcake, ice cream (it's okay imo), ginger muffins, and fruit with that yummy dip. This was my first time trying this specific location, but I've been going here for many years and this was my first time trying the chicken Alfredo pasta which was recommended to me by a coworker. We keep coming back for the tasty food and impeccable service we are given by Brandon. He is welcoming, incredibly thoughtful and appears to genuinely care for the customers. The chefs here consistently produce delicious, fresh deli items such as the southwest wrap, cali club and the southwest salad - all phenomenal. I love the house made ruffled chips - they have the perfect crunch factor! The location is convenient, with ample parking. To go orders take no more then 10-15 mins and there are plenty of seats while you wait. Oh! And you get free ice cream with your takeout order which Brandon always reminds us about lol.
