Drove up here from New York City and most definitely do not regret it. Had a great time with my family and got a few good jumps. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good time. They have 5 HAUNTED HOUSES and for $5 you can add on 3 extra that are next to the stage. Make sure you do all 8 HAUNTED HOUSES and get the FAST-PASS because the lines are long. HORRIFYING HAYRIDE was about a 20-30 minute ride and a lot of fun. CARNIVAL OF FEAR was dark most of the time but most definitely got a few jumps. LOST IN JASONS WOODS could have been a little bit more scarier, they could have had more characters scattered throughout the woods. ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE was a good laugh and a lot of jumps. CHAMBER OF HORRORS could have been better. You're able to see what's coming around every corner so you don't really get scared but we did get a few jumps. Whoever played the TERRIFIER character deserves a raise. He scared the ishhh out of us. lol. Keep an eye out for him in one of the HAUNTED HOUSES. They also have 3 food carts. They have a fries and tater tots food cart where they fried the tots and fries to perfection and the staff was extremely friendly. The line for burgers was long so I recommend you have someone stand in line while you get the fries. Highly recommend the funnel cake and fried Oreos. Have them well done to get a good crisp on the outside. Overall, the characters did a great job and the funnel cakes and tater tots hit the spot. Have fun!

I really would have liked to give this place four or five stars, but the last attraction was a bomb. We arrived on a Saturday night. Because of Covid, lines were short. While waiting in line, the people in front of us were smoking weed all the way to the cashier. Nobody seemed to care. We hit the hay ride first. This place did a great job, and special effects awesome . The other haunts were pretty good, and the scare actors took their jobs seriously except for the last. We hit the circus tent last, and it was filled with weed smoke. It wasn't the group in front of us, so I could only guess it was the scare actors. Most of the scare actors were grouped up, and in conversation when you hit their area. Seemed like they were surprised to see customers walking in, then were slow to respond. Too bad. We just don't like to head all the way back home with the smell of weed all over our clothes.

Went on Sunday night not too crowded we had fun my favorite was the hay ride would come back and try the Jason's woods walk in the woods and the carnival since we only did the 3 combo

I took my 9 year old to Jason's Woods last night and she absolutely LOVED it! She told me she did not want to go trick or treating this year and instead wanted to go to a haunted house. After much research on a place that would be semi appropriate for a kid, i decided with Jason's Woods. I purchased the 5 park slam tickets i advance, and did not spend the money on the VIP passes. We arrived just after they opened and didn't need VIP as there were no lines, so we were able to walk right into all of the houses. The first house we hit was the Zombie Apocalypse. She was quite scared in the Zombie Apocalypse, so i thought it was going to be a long night for her, but she really enjoyed the rest of the houses. It was super dark, and we couldn't see ANYTHING! i had no clue where to go, but the actors were great inside, staying in character and showing us where to go in the darkness through creepy whispers, pointing, or simply blocking the incorrect paths. The highlight of her night was the Carnival of Fear and the clowns. I thought the decorations in that house was absolutely spectacular. I loved the colors and the feel. The last clown actress at the end of the house was a complete gem to my daughter and even took a picture with my kiddo once she told her it was her first experience at a haunted house. She really made her night! My daughter loved the hayride and was so psyched when we heard the music for Freddie! To see him was the best for me. We were done with all 5 attractions by 8:30 so we spent the rest of the time walking around, taking pictures, and eating. By that time you could see the amount of people really picking up, and the lines were getting pretty long. I would advise either getting there as soon as they open or getting a VIP pass if you decide to come later. The DJ was on point playing awesome music that had the whole crowd dancing. This experience was the best for her. Thank you guys so much for such an enjoyable night of fright and laughter!!!! If you're thinking about bringing your kiddo to something like this, i would say GO AHEAD... as long as you both decide it's what they want and as a parent you believe they can handle it.

They have a larger water park section with a splash pad, some larger slides and other water areas. My kids stuck to the main, non water park. This is a throwback to another era with a monorail, running through the parking lot and some older vintage rides. You can tell some of the parts could use some TLC. The bumper cars broke multiple times during our visit, ever time we were in line. They also had a recent incident with their sky ride getting stuck and guests had to be rescued. My kids loved the animatronic dinosaurs at the back of the park, but some of dinosaurs definitely have seen better days and some were not operating at all. All in all, the kids will love it. And as adults, it's entertaining enough with manageable lines.

There is a large bead on the chain to close it and it was caught inside the top. After a struggle it released. The rainy day and early season meant no outside swimming or amusement park. The inside pool is small and a lifeguard always on duty, 9:30-9:30. Hot tub is small - sits 6. It's not great. I couldn't see controls anywhere so jets aren't strong. A small baby pool is great for the little ones. It says 1.5 ft deep but more like a foot. The bigger kids really enjoyed the big pool. Dinner at Penleys was ok. The Cobb salad great and chicken nuggets and fries typical. Our son got the brats. He enjoyed them but we both thought the gravy wasn't needed. I would have liked some cooked marks on them. Mac and cheese looked good The only option for breakfast was the buffet. The only gf/df choices were scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit and granola. Oatmeal with topping choices would have been welcomed. Pancakes and waffles were precooked Staff is friendly and accommodating.

I'm not a roller coaster rider but I do get on rides. I get on mellow rides lol. We probably got on at least six non roller coaster rides that were very enjoyable. Also saw a seal show. That was quite entertaining. It also wasn't rushed. Probably lasted at least 30-40 minutes. Oh and the price also includes the zoo. We were here during the springtime. I would love to come back during the summer to explore some of the other activities available such as the water park and other options. This really was fun and we also paid for one meal plan. It included one main course, one side and a fountain drink or bottle of water for $19.99. All tickets were pre-purchased online. One recommendation. Pre-purchase your parking online as well. We didn't do that and we went for upclose parking. It was pretty expensive. $60 to be exact. We could have saved if we had purchased it online. So we know the next time. General parking was $35 and they had a trolley to take you to the park. So the choice is yours. I would definitely return again. Can't wait!!!

Trains (rollercoasters) often went up with empty seats, all the while 50,000 people are waiting for 90 minutes just to get the chance to experience it. I'm sure you could add a line in there just for solo-riders who could complete those random single empty seats that go up each ride that were just waiting to be occupied. Then, when you do finally make it up close enough that you can see the loading dock, there is a HP person there with the wooden stick for kids... Some kids are being booted out at that point, after they've already waited for 90 minutes, only to find out they're going to be booted out anyway because they're not tall enough. Put those HP people at the Entrance into the ride instead of making all potential kids stand and wait in line and ruining their day when they could be spending that extra time experiencing other attractions. The Bumper Cars - there never used to be an island in the middle of it, and so the experience with that was much more exciting when you had free reign to drive anywhere, but now with this island and being forced to go around in circles, it takes all the excitement out of the experience and purpose of those vehicles anyway. Overall, service(s) were very slow, very minimal, and very lackadaisical. I have to say, after experiencing this first hand, I am not at all "Hersheypark Happy".

We typically would do their Christmas Train, and rarely got back to Lancaster in the warmer months. As soon as I planned my latest summer trip, I knew it had to be on the itinerary. This place has it all from gigantic slides to gold mining sluice areas to a mini kids village that mine couldn't get enough of from the mini vet office to the drive in theater. It was really impressive. From here, you can make your way up the hill where there is a restaurant, a coffee kiosk with a delicious coconut water cold brew (wild!), and plenty of shaded sections with swinging chairs. You'll find paintball, basketball, skee ball, a pedal cart for the family, launching devices. I mean, there is a lot! The place is large so it never felt overly crowded. Come with water bottles. Even with the shaded sections it gets hot. They have water fountains by the bathrooms.

We spent hours at the farm, and could have stayed even longer. My kids loved everything from the large corn maze to the swings to the games to the playground equipment to the large sandbox filled with corn. My kids were 4 and 6 during our visit, but the farm can easily accommodate older or younger. Two notes; 1. The bathrooms in the back of the farm are new & super clean. 2. Don't feel pressure to purchase the add ones (apple chucking and paintball) - those sections are towards the back of the farm and easily avoidable. There was a variety of food options - a few standard theme park options along with specialty options like homemade ice cream.

First of all, I think the price is a bit high for the little it includes. I think it was $12 per kid (adults free) but all that gets you is access to the climbing/slide area. You have to buy a card for all the games, rides and other activities. However, it was nice to let our kids run around for a bit, although of course they didn't want to spend time in the climbing area when there were games and other attractions all around. One other nice thing is you can leave and come back all day long. We choose to grab lunch elsewhere and come back for some more fun. Don't think I would be back but happy it was available when we needed somewhere to go!
