Breakfast burrito with chorizo and eggs

Coffee and breakfast burrito were 10/10. No line and no waiting. Similar to a Chipotle but it has coffee and breakfast and the ingredients seem more fresh. Great spot!

Haven't stopped thinking about this place since I had it. It's similar to Cava or Chipotle, but they also serve coffee and breakfast. You order at the counter and go down the line to build your own bowl, burrito, salad, taco, or quesadilla. I went with a bowl with white rice, grilled steak, grilled veggies, corn salsa, and red onion. The meat and toppings all looked and tasted really fresh. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Great option if you're looking for something quick and casual but still fresh and high quality. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Hilton Head!

Stopped here for breakfast this morning. Had a breakfast sandwich. It was warm & tasty. Very large sandwich. Could've split it with my hubby. Neither one of us could finish our sandwiches. The place is nice! I felt like it was a bit dark, so much so that we ate outside, which we never do. My only other negative was staff were not super friendly. But my sandwich was good and the coffee was excellent. Real creamers, 1/2&1/2 & oat, not those little packets of poison most places provide. I appreciate that.

The minute we got there, the line was out the door. Within 5 min, the line increased 3X! The service was friendly and fast. Definitely a popular place, but the line moves fairly quickly. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were as expected. The chips were super thin but didn't have much flavor. The guac was great but felt like the ratio of chips to guac was disproportionate. The burritos, on the other hand, were gigantic! The salads were filling and good, but felt like they were comparable to many other fast casual places.

While visiting Hilton Head last week, we made a stop at Java Burrito, and ended up coming back the very next day. At first, we were hesitant to join the long line stretching out the door, but it moved quickly and efficiently. And let me tell you, it was so worth the wait. Java Burrito serves up build-your-own Mexican-style bowls with high-quality, fresh ingredients that feel both hearty and healthy. They also offer a build-your-own breakfast option, which is such a great touch, and honestly sets them apart from places like Chipotle. The coffee? Easily the best we had on the island. Rich, smooth, and clearly crafted with care. This place truly nails the fast-casual concept, blending flavor, quality, and vibe in a way that's hard to come by. I only wish they had a location in Ohio, I'd be a regular. Until then, it'll be a go-to every time I'm in Hilton Head.

Soooo fresh and delicious. We went twice during our trip to Hilton Head. It is an elevated chipotle style restaurant. The local fish add on was seasoned and cooked well. All the add on were delicious. Lots of food for a good price.

Tucked away in a strip mall in Hilton Head on William Hilton Parkway is Java Burrito Company. The great online reviews led me here, and it did not disappoint. It's like a Chipotle on steroids that also serves alcohol with a full coffee bar off to the side offering some unique caffeinated drinks. We kept things simple by going with a burrito and quesadilla. The chicken quesadilla (3.5) was a generous portion with fresh flavorful chicken, but the cheese flavor profile wasn't up to par with others I've had, but it was greatly improved when I asked for some queso to spruce things up. The burrito (4/5) was solid and similarly generous portioned, and a few notches above Chipotle in taste. I would recommend a bit of queso to be incorporated into any of the meals to spruce up the taste. There were many staff members on duty even right before closing time, all seemingly working in harmony and generally very friendly with regards to service. Both the interior seating area and outdoor patio were tastefully welcoming, and very impressive for a fast casual counter service type of place. I would recommend Java Burrito Company to others looking for a quick and filling Mexican meal, and probably would return myself to try out some of their intriguing caffeinated beverages.

All we heard from everyone while in Hilton Head was, "go to Java Burrito"!!! We did. We somehow beat the rush. There's some seating inside and some outside. The line moves quick. The food was delicious!!!! Tacos and a bowl! Thought it was expensive, but definitely tasted great!

We stopped here for a quick breakfast. They have a nice variety on their menu. The prices are reasonable. I am not a big breakfast eater so I ordered the cinnamon toast and hashbrowns. Both were very good and filling. You order at a counter and they let you know when it is ready. The atmosphere is calm and inviting

Imagine a fusion of Chipotle, Cava, and Tropical Grill, blended with the vibe of your favorite coffee shop, but supercharged. That's what you get with Java Burrito. Nestled in the Wexford Center on Route 278, Java Burrito specializes in breakfast and casual dining all day long. Their breakfast burritos are fantastic, but my personal favorite is the Burrito Bowl. You begin with a base of rice and lettuce, then customize it with your choice of protein and an array of toppings. The freshness of the ingredients really stands out, making the flavors truly exceptional. You'll also find a wide selection of coffees, cocktails, and beer on the menu. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious. At around $12 per person, it's one of the best values you'll discover on the island.

Holy cow these breakfast tacos were outta this world.

Hilton Head Island has seen some changes in food offerings in the last decade, but fresh and new American fusion isn't common. Enter Chow Daddy's. With two locations (the other in Bluffton) we hit this one on Hilton Head. It's a risky place to put a restaurant, buried in the back plaza of a nondescript but high-end shopping center deeeep in the wooded neighborhoods of the island's Southern tip. If you're staying elsewhere on the island, you'll find you have to pay a small fee to access Sea Pines but many people do to get to the Salty Dog Cafe as well. While it may not get a lot of visibility, it is definitely worth seeking out for the very good Latin American cuisine being offered. Out party of five arrived on an August Friday evening after making reservations and were impressed with the cleanliness and upscale minimalist vibe. Dark booths and Edison-style lighting are offset by the daylight let in by picture windows. There is outside seating in the patio (very pleasant in the shade) and a small bar open off the host area. Inside seating is large enough for bigger parties of 6-8. Definitely not a post-beach day place, but perfect for date night, or more dressy family dinner out. Service was quick and talkative; we enjoy chatting beyond food with out severs which makes the experience even better. Apps and mains were delivered quickly with good presentation. We started with the fine fresh corn dip - extra tortillas were helpful to get the last bits. Mains included a fresh and well pattied cheesburger, mix-n-match tacos and two specialty bowls - cajun shrimp with spicy fine fat prawns and an Ahi-tuna poke style bowl. The rice in both was excellent and the portions were perfect. I'll try to un-hide this hidden star with this review and encourage you to seek it out if you live on "HHi" or make your next visit. Rare 5 star from us.

I came here with a bunch of friends from my undergraduate research lab while we were in Hilton Head presenting at a conference. We had rented a condo to all stay together and this place was in walking distance, so we headed over. I don't remember what all everyone else got to eat, or much about the service, but I do remember it was a total vibe. Beachy decorations that were fun but still classy and not too kitschy, warm lighting, good music. I ordered an item probably not even on their menu anymore: pulled barbeque chicken on a hunk of spicy cornbread with a side salad. I checked online and it's nowhere to be found, but it slapped at the time, and from pictures it seems like you can still maybe order their spicy cornbread at least, which was the best part! It had a great cakey texture and some legit heat. The chicken was succulent and tender and the smokiness paired well with the salad. It seems Chow Daddy's enjoyed a decade of success after my visit so long ago. I hope the temporary closure listed on the Yelp page doesn't turn into a permanent one. It was a pleasant surprise to be reminded of this visit and my time with friends.

Great patio area and surrounded by big boats and water inlet. The wait wasn't Terrible and the server had great people skills and very friendly. Now to the food. So for me and Mexican food the biggest test is the chips and salsa. Chips were thick and very crispy so I was excited. The salsa was a bust. Very lacking, not terrible but wanted it to be so good. We decided to order the queso to try it. Very cheesy almost too much cheese flavor that hid a lot of the other flavors. I got the El Presidente and it was very good. The refried beans had loaded flavor. The rice was average but over all very good. The hard shell taco was the best part of it. The girls got the sizzling fajitas and they were fresh and had tons of packed flavor. I ate their leftovers. My wife ate the chicken chimichanga. It was ok but chicken was bland. The cheese queso was also over it which we didn't like very much because the over powering melted cheese flavoring. The alcohol drinks were very good and strong. Worth the money which is rare in restaurants. Overall rating would a 3.8 out of 5 star but we can't give ratings other than whole stars.

The Atmosphere & Vibe The energy here is infectious. Even though it was packed for trivia night, the layout keeps things feeling social rather than cramped. A standout feature is the outdoor seating area--it's incredibly charming and comfortable, complete with cozy couches, and a beautiful statue and fountain nearby, to add a relaxing backdrop. I'm already planning a return trip for warmer weather; the restaurant has these giant garage doors that look like they open the entire space up to the patio. I can only imagine how cool that "3-wall" indoor-outdoor breeze feels during a meal! Service & Speed Despite every table being full, the service was impressively sharp. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the food came out remarkably quickly. Usually, a Friday night rush means a long wait, but the kitchen here is clearly a well-oiled machine. The Food & Menu The menu offers a fantastic variety, ranging from authentic tacos to more elaborate signature entrees. Everything we ordered was delicious--fresh ingredients, bold spices, and perfect presentation. Had to pay for chips and salsa, ( unlike other Mexican restaurants ) but it was optional and worth the three bucks. Bottom line: Whether you're there for the trivia, the fountain-side lounging, the margaritas, or just the tacos, this place delivers a top experience.
