The inside is so cool and really gives a historic look into Saint Paul. Everywhere you can find a bustling amount of people having conversations and enjoying coffee. The staff here are wonderful often giving compliments to people coming in and saying hello to the regulars. This is a wonderful neighborhood and a wonderful coffee shop! Now, for the coffee. I love their coffee - whether it's a latte or a Matcha or iced or hot it's always amazing!! (I would gladly drive the 40 minutes out here to have their coffee). Thank you Nina's for continuing to be open under construction and always providing stellar service & coffee!!

The cafe was packed on a weekday morning. It's a good thing I was planning on taking a brewed out rather than hanging around. Hot fresh mellow brew and a wide selection of bakery, including hard to find biscotti. The crew was working quickly to keep the orders filled and no one at a table near the counter complained when I was crowded into them from someone rushing in front me..that's how packed it was. As some have mentioned don't expect curbside parking as you may have to walk a block or more from the side streets.

The young man at the counter offered me an extensive menu of regular coffees, espresso drinks and specialty drinks, all of which could be made hot or cold. They also have a variety of milk selections. Unfortunately, they were out of skim milk today, but he offered to tweak the amount when I told him that the main reason I usually had skim milk was to enhance the coffee flavor(and their coffee really tasted good). Additionally, he offered to make my drink in my personal cup which was great since I hate to use plastic whenever I can. This location is only a half block from United Hospital and all its various buildings and there is no good coffee within that entire complex. It's definitely worth getting a breath of fresh air and taking a block and a half stroll to have a great cup of Joe! By the way, although I tried hard not to look, their pastry case looked scrumptious, filled with homemade pies by the slice and other goodies. Since they are so close to the hospital it's really nice that they also have a lovely display of fresh cut flowers. Next time I'm down here I'm going to stop in for a meal. If the food is as good as the coffee I think I'll become a regular.

I didn't pick up right away that you take a menu and seat yourself, which can feel a little chaotic at first, but once we sat down, we were able to settle in. This is a small coffee shop almost to the downtown area. There is neighborhood parking all around(free) just make sure you are reading the signs correctly. As I walked in, it had such a cozy and welcoming feeling. The brick, smell of coffee and people chatting really gave this a classic coffee shop vibe! Almost like being in a book! The service... i asked for my coffee iced and to have oat milk. Neither of those requests were fulfilled. Now, I do like hot coffee, so I didn't complain and I will say the coffee was delicious. The temp was perfect for drinking right away. I am lactose intolerant, so I didn't realize I didn't get my oat milk until after I left if you catch my drift haha. The person taking my order seemed frazzled and wasn't very friendly. I had also ordered another baked goods but I guess she didn't hear because upon checking my receipt, it wasn't listed. It wasn't overly busy, but may be she was new? Not sure, but it did leave a bit of a bad taste for this place. The scone was very tasty and I would recommend getting it warmed up. I would give this place a try again, but it's not a place I plan to visit again soon.

Give yourself extra time as there is no designated lot. Contrary, there are plenty of street spots but there's no guarantee you'll get a close spot. Exterior- easy to spot! Cute signage and bonus exterior patio and tables during the warm months. inviting plants and lots of commotion with the surrounding shops and restaurants including the co-op. Interior - cozy! Large window allows natural lighting along with a long horizontal bar with plug ins for remote work. Caution: it's small hence the wee name. If you're looking for large and intimate, travel down to West 7th. Drinks - parallel menu to the original shop. All the Irish favorites and more. Iced, hot, whatever you desire. Food - breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and rotating menus. Service - attentive and quick 4 stars due to parking and sadly my iced americano was a little watery today. I'll still be back. Thanks, Wee Claddagh!!

The bakery section is so delicious that there should be an addiction warning taped to the pastry display case. They've got all different sorts of coffee orders too, so if you need your morning fix, you're set. The place is always crowded, which is a sign that it's a well-loved hangout and eatery of the community. However, it does mean that you could be standing for a little while until a table opens up. Space always does open though, it's just that sometimes patience is required. However, it's always worth it to enjoy the good vibes and delicious food. Free parking can also be hard to find as most street side parking is full all hours of the day. Be prepared to walk a little ways or to pay the small fee to park behind the building. This is the heart of the Twin Cities though, so this should not be surprising. If I could give this place fifty stars instead of five, I would. The only reason I had to stop eating here was developing celiac disease. For those of you with free will and without gluten troubles, definitely make your way here.
