The pineapple kootu was a standout (so good), the mango rice was bright and flavorful, and the pudi kozhukattai was spot on. It all has that authentic, homemade quality -- the kind of cooking that tastes like it came straight out of mom's kitchen. The dining space is on the smaller side, so it's not ideal for large groups, but that's my only note, and honestly I just hope they expand because the food deserves a bigger room. My one wish is that they hold onto this quality without ever letting it slip. I've seen too many promising new spots start strong and slowly fade, and this place is far too good for that. They had wrapped the takeout box in 3 feet of aluminum foil. Some of that foil could have been used for the roti. The roti had completely soaked up the oil in the curry and was breaking apart when lightly touched. It was not edible at this point. The small amount of chicken curry which was edible was not worth $4.99. Despite the 3 feet of foil, there was so much oil that it had leaked out of the bag and made a mess of my car seat. I tried calling them but their phone system answers the phone but no one is on the other end. Complete fail on customer service and food packaging. I don't recommend ppl eat here.
