I am overwhelmed. Getting married and moving out soon, and I'm going to rent my home (underwater like everyone else). I sold my washer and dryer last night, and then noticed the water pipe connection in my wall had a slow leak, dripping into the wall. On short notice, Jay himself showed up and explained my options. These included removing the recessed box and replacing the valve, and this would entail cutting the sheetrock too, requiring a patch from someone else. Jay's other option was to have me buy a hose cap to go on the pipe to capture this minor amount of water until the renter installs his/her own washer when the leak won't be happening any longer. So Jay confirmed my problem was just a leaky valve that would function fine once a washer was back in place. He could have played me for the fool and gotten a few to several hundred bucks out of me, but instead he sacrificed the immediate profit for a future lifetime customer. On top of all this, Stacy in his office was extremely pleasant to me and delivered on the contact she had promised in a very timely manner. We had an issue with possible leak from condensation line (drain pipe) at one of our rental properties near the top of a bathroom window Monday when temperature was over 110F after AC had been running all day. We suspected the primary drain was clogged and the secondary back up probably not properly hooked up. After calling 8-9 AC repair contractors in the area between me and the tenant, the earliest appointment we could secure was in one week. However, with the weather being so hot, we needed to have it repaired sooner. We then quickly realized that the AC itself was not the problem. It was cooling just fine. Instead, the issue was the leaky and possibly clogged drain pipe that connects with the drain pipe underneath a bathroom sink. It is actually a plumbing issue! We found Jay on Yelp based on the excellent reviews. Jay called us back the next morning saying they were finishing a job nearby and could come over in an hour or so. I tried to explain what happened over the phone and he was able to give me a quick diagnosis of what could have caused the issue. It was a reassurance when the contractor you spoke with demonstrates the professionalism that he has a clear knowledge of what he is dealing with. Tony and his assistant arrived as promised in a very well-equipped truck. We appreciated that they wore booties to help keep tenant's carpet clean. Tony soon located the clog inside the drain pipe underneath the bathroom sink and we began to see water draining from the pipe properly again. Tony didn't stop there. He went up the attic and walked around the house to check where the leak was and explained in details a solution to prevent the secondary drain pipe from leaking again. He went into work with the right tools right away and was able to locate and precisely drill a perfect size hole all the way through the wall so the secondary drain pipe sticks out of the wall as it is supposed to be to begin with. It was a perfect solution to our problem. Above all, Jay, Tony (who has worked for Jay for over 10 years) are not just knowledgeable, professional, they are honest, straightforward and have customer service in mind.
