We have bought cars from them in the past and had great service. But today when we went in we found a car we liked with a sticker price of $5995 and a processing fee of $199. We said we already had financing and only wanted to spend $6000 total. The salesmen came back and said they could do it for $6095 and we still said we didn't want to go over $6000. He went to talk to someone again and then came back and said "we have a problem, the car is actually listed on the website for $6495 so there is no way we can go that low". Seriously!?!?! All the paperwork and the sticker on the front window of the car said $5995. Very disappointed, will not be buying a car or refer anyone to them ever again. read more

I am always impressed by the level of quality and service I receive here by the service center team. I am always greeted with a true smile and I never feel like I am being bamboozled into spending more money. My first encounter with the team was with the body shop department and they made my Honda CR-V look brand new. I never knew my driver side door had a huge dent or would not close properly. But they replaced the door beautifully and repainted what needed to be painted. The fact that they even helped us when we did not have a car and offered to pick up my wife free of charge proved to me that they put the customer's concerns first. I now bring my Mazda 3 there to be serviced regularly and I know they will not lie to me if something is wrong with it. I get their opinion first before I take it to the Mazda dealer to use my warranty. This way I know Mazda is not trying to pull a fast one on me. While this is also the used car location for Jay Wolfe, the showroom area is bigger than it needs to be and often leads me to wonder if any type of business actually gets done here. They told her several times that they had gotten her approved for a vehicle, only to crush her soul repeatedly by reneging on their promises. I hate seeing my friends get hurt. You devastated her. I now hate you. Extended Cut: Strike 1: My best friend found a vehicle that she liked. They told us that they could get her into it despite her less than stellar credit score. After waiting around for almost 2 hours, we were told that she couldn't get financed for that car. BUT, they now knew exactly what parameters the car needed to fit in order for her to get financed. Strike 2: She got a call about a vehicle that they just got in. They said they could definitely get her into it. She told them what time we would be by that day to look at it. When we got there, another sales person was showing the car to a potential buyer. Can anyone say bait and switch? They then showed her a Ford Focus that she fell in love with. They assured us they could get her into it. They just needed to run her credit. We waited around for about an hour and a half. But of course, the lenders they were using were closing soon, so we might not hear back right away. So we will have to wait until Wednesday to finish the paperwork. Strikes 3, 4, and 5: She gets informed on Wednesday that she needs a co-signer. Me being me, I fill out the online form and submit it. I also inform the sales person that I can put another $1000 down on the vehicle for a total of $3k down on a $7500 car. After a bit we are told that she was approved and that we needed to come in with proof of employment, residence, and insurance so that we can sign the final paperwork and take home her new car. (Did I mention that she is in LOVE with this car?) I personally texted them and said we would be in that evening after I got off work. We arrived with everything we needed. The salesman gave her they keys and she put them on her keychain. They made photocopies. We were told that the rental agreement didn't count as proof of residence. (Really? This is the contract with the apartment company and it doesn't count as proof that we have that apartment? WTF?!) So I print off the cable bill (because that's better at proving where I live than the CONTRACT FOR THE APARTMENT!!!!!) We wait around for about 30 minutes and then Mike comes over to have us sign paperwork. 20 minutes of signing paperwork. 20 minutes of holding the key to the new car. 20 minutes of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. 20 minutes of joy in the fact that things are turning around and life is looking up. All dashed because the lender still had to approve the loan. THE LENDER STILL HAS TO APPROVE THE LOAN?! You said she was approved. I just co-signed documents saying accepting responsibility. We are giving you 40% of the asking price as a down payment. You called us and told us that we were good to go and everything was settled. You know her story of hardship and promised her a good car that would really help improve her situation. You gave her the keys and let her put them on her keychain. We bought a 2007 Chevy Cobalt here yesterday and within 24 hours we have had to replace the battery and the air conditioner has quit working. It was purchased as is but we thought Jay Wolfe was reputable and we were assured that the car had to be passed by three different mechanics before it was available for sale. Now we are just holding our breath waiting for what happens next. This is a starter car for my son and I am almost terrified to let him drive it because there is no telling what else these mechanics might have "missed" or skipped over. My husband and I went to drive a vehicle we'd stopped in to see previously. It was a 2-seater convertible. A gentleman pulled it out of the showroom for us and was making copies of my husband's driver's license and insurance card when they informed us that we couldn't go out in the car at the same time. We were told that one of us would have to hold back while the other left with a salesperson in the car. We were there on our lunch and did not have the time to make the test drive take twice as long. Plus we found it to be ridiculous and insulting -- we would never buy a car that we were not ever allowed to drive and talk about how it compared to others while in the process. We've now driven a Miata, a Z4, a Honda S2000, and Audi A5 and A3, all of which we were given free reign to drive. This policy prevented us from potentially purchasing a car today - we were quite interested in the car, but the inability to test drive it appropriately lost the sale. read more

I purchased a 2002 Honda Accord from here on September 15, 2016. I needed a commuter car in a hurry after losing my company car and taking a job in town. This was my fault as I should have done more research on the 02 Honda. I asked the salesperson if I could keep the car a few nights and decide but was told that was not an option. About 4,000 miles into owning it a maintenance required light came on. I found that these lights are automatically tripped so did not worry much about it at that time. Then the transmission began to slip in low gears if I did not come to a complete stop. At 7,000 miles the car lost power on the highway causing me to drop from 60mph to 40mph and almost get rear ended. I have found that these Honda's are notorious for transmission issues and it is a known problem to Honda. Any google search will tell you this. The transmission replacement was going to cost 2500-3000 with not much warranty to speak of. I decided to purchase another vehicle from another location as I no longer felt safe in this vehicle. I expressed my concerns to GM Lou S. who indicated since I purchased a vehicle from another location there was nothing he could do for me. This car lasted only 3 months and cost me 5K. I had requested a refund of my sales tax or something to help with the purchase of another car but Jay Wolfe made it clear they would do nothing for me unless I purchased another unreliable piece of junk they sell at this location which I refuse to do. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have a real hard time believing that they were unaware of transmission issues based on the history of this particular year of Honda yet I do believe they will try to make a profit on vehicles that should have been sent to the junk yard. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a vehicle. read more
